PES Strength Contest

i might be in for the dips :P im debatin on it
 
Everyone is afraid to post a vid...come on!

Ben only created this as a way to boost his own self esteem after he beats everyone. Hes a sick man...

I resent this as it is only partly true!

I would upload my 3RM pull up to get things started but it has my web link in it and would be deemed as advertising.
 
1) Most pull-ups with bodyweight
2) Heaviest pull-ups for 3 reps (relative to bodyweight)
3) Most dips with bodyweight
4) Heaviest dips for 5 reps (relative to bodyweight)

Count me in at 150lbs.
 
Anyone going to try 100lbs+bodyweight for heavy dips or do I need to go higher?
 
For 5 reps? Pretty sure I can hang...just don't have video know how. That whole "old dog new tricks deal" Lol

If I enter, you are going to have to go much higher. Last time I did weighted dips I hit BW+125 for 9 reps :)

It helps being under 170 right now ;)

Damn dude....very nice!! I can't hang with that weight. I might be able to get 150x5 at my current weight of 169 but your ratio would still be better

1st couple were barely over 90 degree.. I mean ****s pretty easy to me. Hard to tell where my elbows are when having 180 strapped on ya. Was worried about the swayying so I don't efff up my shoulder. Next chest day I'll have a better one...

Oh, it's no biggie.

At the end of my workout today I went 135X5 at a weight of 195, or close to that.

Fresh, I can do at least 150+

Here's to mutual motivation.

Gotta find that intrinsic motivation and just do it.

I wasn't always good at dips or whatnot, just gotta do work.

? It's not like I gave up on it just because I'm not good ... just for the purposes of this contest. It was more of a sarcastic complaint rather than a serious one anyways. I like the idea of this contest. It's in the same vein as that one Athletix one.

This is incredibly strong, great first entry to kick us off.

Viewing the video, that didn't look full parallel.

I paused the video at the bottom of each rep, if you look at his right arm it is parallel.

You didn't mention your weight or what categories you would like to enter?

Minimum of 20 for pulls up and probably like no less than 35+ for dips to at least place.

That was just after the first dose too! Can't wait to see where I'm at at the end of the week long cycle. Stuff's so good, only run it for one week! Well, that's all I got in the test bottle anyways!
 
I'll give dips a go on Saturday. I think my dips are stronger than my pull-ups. Have to see..........
We should compete---dips are my best movement, along with normal flat bench.
