Hell for being a crapy mood you still pushed out a good workout!! Hope the mood changes. I leave out Sunday for tdy for work. Sad thing is my uncles funeral is Monday. The family understands though I can't get out of this trip. Talking about young kids in gym lol. My two fav's are the ones that work out only their upper body, and the ones that throw the db's down. I just laugh and go on. But we were all young at one time.

Basically it is a week long period of volume reduction, usually by keeping the same rep/set schemes but reducing resistance by 50% although there are multiple ways to approach it.

Yah keep it simple.. it's boring but has to be done.

Had another good workout tonight. I am really starting to like being in a bad mood when going into training. Helps with staying motivated. Started off with a 5 minute warm up on the treadmill.

Flat Barbell Bench Press


12 reps 160 lbs (Warm Up)
12 reps 230 lbs
10 reps 250 lbs
10 reps 230 lbs
10 reps 210 lbs

First time I have been able to stay in the 200's on every rep.


Dumbbell Rows

12 reps 50 lbs (Warm Up)
12 reps 100 lbs

Shoulder Press Machine


12 reps 160 lbs (Warm Up)

For the first time my arms and shoulder were pumping after the entire workout. Was like I was in a wet t-short contest after I was complete. And that is not a purty site when you talking about me in the white t-shirt. lol

Mostly just things at the office. I don't like to bring home issues. When I talk to Cat on the way home or I walk in the door she just knows not to talk to me. It is get home. Make me a pre- workout drink with 2 scoops of Alpha Rage, 1 scoop of NO2XL, 2 scoops of BCAA Extended in 10 oz of water. Drink it down then go change and head off to the gym all in a matter of 5 minutes. Get to the gym and sweat and push myself hard. I was satisfied with my bench tonight. I wasn't going to go heavy, I wanted reps and to try to keep in the 200's on every rep and I was able to do it.

Nothing clears your head after a hard day at work like pushing yourself physically. I love that release. That's what keeps me in the gym.
 
Ahh gotcha man I understand. This trip putting me missing uncles funeral, and my family has me resenting this job even more. My wife has had those days of me comming home ill as well, but I use the gym too get rid of it too! Stay strong and don't let it get to you my friend.

I appreciate that. So sorry you had to miss the funeral. But like I told you before. At least you had some special time with him. He is now looking over your shoulder. If there is one thing I think I am very good at is seperating home life from work.

Well today was an interesting day. Work sucked as usual. Way too much going on . So when I got to the gym it was look around and see how crowded it was. So instead of working out with weights we did Rip 60. Which is Golds Gym version of P90X but with straps. Man I forgot how tough that was. So I will probably incorporate this into our regimen just for variety. I was sweating like something fierce.

Nice bro, helps to change things up a bit. I hear you with the whole suck a$$ work day. I have a damn nightmare class at the end of the day for 90 damn minutes. It's full of immature 9th graders who honestly act like they just have no care in the world. I'm talking no respect no sense of responsibility just straight up ignorant as all hell. Every day man I ask myself why I am still teaching. I actually am preparing to apply to a local fire department because I'm just done with it. I'm glad I have the gym to release all my frustrations because if I didn't...lets just say there would probably be some upset parents in town.

Sounds like a cool alternative when the weight room is packed.
 
Tonight I forgot the workout sheet at home on accident and realize it until we got half way to the gym. :( So, onlychevy6 (baby daddy) says lets do the rip 60! Ummm yeah about that, I was sweating like a pig and tired as heck!! It was a good workout though!!!

Your a teacher cause you are the bomb. I would bet that these kids will soon see the wrath of the green machine soon. Put a little fear in these disrespectful kids in a positive way. LOL... They don't listen your get push ups. Push ups are easy make it tougher. LMAO... Old school military upbringing I am used to I guess. Ha Ha Ha.

Unfortunately the wrath of green is trumped by the fluffy feel good antics of the department of public instruction and the administration. Parents would Sh!t if they found out that I was making their children do push ups...not that their soft Xbox, facebooking, computer junkie muscles could even muster a push up....sorry I'm just a bit sour about the whole thing lol!! I did punch out a window in my classroom try to get some skipper to go to class ha! And only 2 stitches!!

LOL... I remember that. Hey I never asked do you also to P.E. for the kids or just classroom stuff. I would hate to be in your P.E. class just the thought of that OMG!!!!!

Believe it or not I teach visual art. No P.E. for me. I like telling people I'm a teacher and they're first response is oh you must teach P.E. lol. I did coach wrestling for a few years and football strength and conditioning, but the lack of work ethic presented by today's youth turned me off. I can't say that all kids are lazy, but the ratio is definitely leaning that way as the years progress. It was to the point that if what they perceived that what they were doing was too hard they'd just quit...doesn't make for a very good team.

I haven't jumped on the scale. But I have probably lost fat and added some muscle.

Yes Ma'am I have finally bowed down to thinking this way. As long as I don't have to go up in pant size or shirts and the weight is going up and I feel leaner I don't care. :yikes:

That's it. I rarely weight myself unless I'm bulking. It just messes with my head when I'm recomping or cutting. Keep it up man.
