Weight - 249.6 lbs.

- Surprised to find my bodyweight at 249 lbs today, considering I had a shitty past couple days of eating. I've got ZERO appetite. Shakes is my primary source for nutrition, unless I choke down GoLean/Oatmeal w/milk, and turkey/cheese sandwiches.

- llooking leeeeean as hell, and with the pump, I'm looking pretty jacked. I don't have that bulky appearance whatsoever; people are even telling me that I'm looking considerably leaner, fuller and tighter, regardless of shirt I'm wearing; be it at the club or be it at the gym. So it's apparent that i've filled in. Nice vascularity going as well, and stomach is more toned that I can remember in a year or more.

- BAD, BAD, BAD NEWS: the GYNO is a bitch; the puffiness, f*ck !!!! I had the pump of a lifetime today, but couldn't take off any layers because the puffiness stood out through my white undershirt. Embarassing . . . downright embarassing. and my girl pointed it out this weekend !!!!!! I pulled up my shirt and showed her; told her it's puffy on and off during the day . . . I had no idea what it was. ANYONE GOT ANY GYNO EMERGENCY STACK SUGGESTIONS !??! It's primarily the puffiness that is an issue, but there is a 'built up' tissue-like thing a bit behind my nipple. P5P, Vitex, Caber and Letro ain't doin $#!T !

Letro should take care of it, run 2.5mg until it goes away and then gradually back off of it.

I would use Letro and Caber EOD, and the Vitex ED. Letro usually takes about 7-10 days to operate fully, and overloading it initially can cause unwanted rebound effects: poor libido and difficulty recovering in P.C.T., [estrogen upregulates the mRNA expression of androgen receptors] and may lead to poorer gains [one of estrogen's "genomic" actions is to increase GLUT4 translocation as well].

I know it is frightening to have a lump there, but the best approach is patience, and ensuring you are not chasing your tail! Letro and Caber have inordinately long half-lives, and; as such, they will take longer to manifest the effects.

look at the...humorous side??

if it gets any worse, you can play with your own boobs and your girl will get a break...:boobies:

Thanks, bro ! And I'm thinking the same thing !! Why am I so confident ?!

.. Well, a) I've got two pairs of Neoprene elbow wraps coming in.
and b) I've got PALs Incarnate coming in on Monday or so of next week. To be honest, joint pains have been the #1 issue that's kept me from upping the weights or not being able to go beyond a certain point. I feel confident that the wraps and Incarnate will allow me to make some additional nasty strength feats !!!!

I bet they will my man..Those wraps will make the difference . Keep banging it out bro your doing a great job!

Day #18 [April 13, 2009]

Legs

Hack Squats
Warm up: 90 * 20, 180 * 20
Working sets: 270 * 15, 360 * 12, 450 * 8, 8, 8 reps

One-legged Horizontal Leg Press
Working sets: 100 * 15, 145 * 15, 190 * 10, 10 reps

Seated Leg Curls
Working sets: 240 * 20, 255 * 15, 270 * 12, 285 * 12

Weight - ?!

* Legs again . . . ugh; I once again spilt my guts and got out of there. My BP was through the roof this session; I felt a little bewildered and flustered at times . . not a good feeling.

* Gyno lump seems to be aggravated .. WTF is this $hit !? Don't know what remedy to jump on . . I've never had any gyno symptoms that leave me hanging this bad before. This is actually quite a job to try to cover up . . and treating it is tougher than ecer expected.

* Looking considerably fuller and larger; particular in chest/deltoid/trap area. Kinda looks like I shot up some oil in my delts cus of the overall size/pump/hardness, and my pecs have had some tremendous growth as well. If only I'd feel as confident with my shirt off in public as I do covered up under a gym . . . Nolva next ? Or Aromasin? Or A-dex !? Ughh, too many options to choose from.

My treatment goes...

1. Nolva
2. Letro (if I have it)
3. Epidrol (never had to go past this step until possibly now)
4. Surgery (don't have the cash, so I don't know when this would happen)

Just placed an order for Epidrol. And 3X Legal Gear SLIN => Buy Two, Get One Free. Can anyone guess the website !? haha .. I'd also like to get some Cognitive NUtrition L-Dopa; this one I literally FELT. NOW DOPA just doesn't bring the same UMPHHH to the table. I used Cognitive's L-Dopa from December through March . .

You attending this, man? Invalid Link Removed

Invalid Link Removed

Lol, no, won't be going there. I've got class up until it starts, and beyond that, I'm gonna study for my tests this week. My dad's the politician/freedom fighter in my family; he hosted a Republican Party where he lives at in Colorado, in 'honor' of this FOX News anchor visiting town. Haha

You said you take 3-4caps of the l-Dopa?

The NOW DOPA has 120mg of active L-dopa (15% extract) per capsule. Historically, I was using Cognitive's L-Dopa, @ 250mg/cap (also 15% extract), and 2-4 caps of these before work at the club, or going out with friends, or any other social scenario made me feel ON TOP OF THE WORLD ! Confidence, social abilities, talkative, happy, snapping on every level . . . I've tried 5-6 caps of NOW DOPA (600-720mg L-dopa) and it's DEFINITELY not the same as when using the Cognitive L-dopa. Needless to say, I'm adding CN's L-Dopa to my order right now.

Did Cognitive's L-DOPA have any other ingredients in it? EGCG, perhaps? ECGC is a catechol-methyltransferase inhibitor - catechol methyltransferase degrades catecholamines like Dopamine. L-DOPA itself is a direct substrate for COMT, and; as such, high levels of COMT degrade L-DOPA, rendering it ineffective. Most companies selling L-DOPA extracts will include either a COMT inhibitor [EGCG] or a PDCI [peripheral decarboxylase inhibitor - with 'decarboxylase' referring to the enzyme responsible for carboxylating L-DOPA into Dopamine in peripheral tissues].

I'll have to look into that. I've never really even considered taking strictly L-dopa; I've always used the bulk 1-carboxy...I'll have to give this stuff a try. Thanks for the recommendation. I still haven't even tried I-GH-1 yet, so I'd like to give that a go, too. That's 99% extract.

No, the L-dopa by Cognitive Nutrition was straight up L-dopa by itself.

The EGCG, however .. I'm not really understanding it's exact mechanism of action. It prevents excessive levels of dopamine from building up in the body rather than the brain? How is there a difference ?!

I also found that Quercetin is sometimes used alongside of L-dopa to prevent Dopamine breakdown, etc .. but I haven't experimented with combining L-dopa with anything else yet.

Nah, COMT itself degrades Dopamine, and a COMTi [inhibitor] prevents that.

Day #20

Biceps/Triceps

- I've been having some slight pain on my right biceps the past couple of days, so today I only did high-repped sets for biceps. No record-shattering anything . . . just 3-5 sets of 20-25 reps on 4 or 5 different exercises. I supersetted Biceps with Triceps, non-stop.

EZ-bar Pressdowns
Warm up: 50 * 25, 70 * 25, 90 * 20
working sets: 110 * 20, 130 * 15, 150 * 12, 12 reps

Seated Overhead DB Extensions
Warm up: 75 * 20
Working sets: 100 * 20, 125 * 20, 150 * 12, 15 reps

Seated one-arm Overhead Extensions
Working sets: 30 * 20, 20, 20 reps

One-arm Reverse Cable Pressdowns
Working sets: 50 * 25, 25, 20, 20 reps

Weight - 253 lbs !!!! Highest I've been in ONE whole year !

- despite some pain in my right bicep, it was a great arm session. I still got one helluva pump in my biceps from the high repetition sets I did for biceps. And when topping it off with supersetting in Triceps; $hiiiiit, my arms were looking 20 inches large.

Update:

** Friday, I had a 30 minute short deltoid/trap workout in the apartment gym complex. Light weight (15-50 lbs) each exercise, with a rep range of 20-30 reps and tons of supersets and dropsets. I was JACKED as a mutha****a, going @ HIGH intensity. Helluva pump. I got come video, gotta try to edit it and upload.

Took Saturday off; visited my girl for the weekend.. Kept NO diet. Ate anything I wanted; I deserved a weekend like that. Laid in bed most of Friday evening and all of Saturday .. and pretty much the same on Sunday. Hahaha . . . I'm a couple lbs. lighter today.

Today, Sunday, I had another 30 minute pump-workout like Friday's, tri-setting abs, biceps and triceps. High intensity, High reps, little-to-no-rest in between trisets. 9-10 sets for each muscle group. I've leaned up considerably . . gonna start doing lots more ab work now; summer is right around the corner. COlorado with my girl is only 4 weeks away . . I got work to do !

Liquidrone Update:

* Side effects remain random pimples on shoulders/upper arms/chest. It's quite annoying actually. I gotta jump back in that tanning booth in the morning, that's for damn sure.

* Libido is less than average. Haven't atrophied too badly, though, which is good ..

* Gyno: f#cking A . .. so tired of that $hit right there ! Puffiness on and off during the day, depending on how warm I am/temperature around me. White shirts; can't wear em . . No remedy has worked so far. Think I'm getting my Epidrol in this week, at the advice of Irish; that's my next step.

I'm right there, bro. I haven't been wearing light-colored T's either. As you said, the warm temp makes it even worse; not good hear in Florida. If I can't get rid of it, I'm getting surgery. I've already made my mind up. I'll go in debt over it if I have to.

Does surgery get rid of it for good? i mean can it come back after that? i am glad i haven't had problems with this. Also just puffy nips isn't gyno correct. that can be common place in cycles and shouldn't be worried about as much imo

Day #25

Back / Traps

Rack Barbell Deadlifts [rack set to just under knee height]
Warm up: 135 * 25, 225 * 20, 315 * 15
Working sets: 405 * 12, 495 * 6, 6, 8 reps

[supersetted with]

Wide-grip Front/Rear Pullups [ 2 sets to the front, 2 sets to the back of neck]
Working sets: Bodyweight * 12 reps * 4 sets [slow, concentrated repetitions]

Incline Icarian Machine Rows [underhand grip]
Warm up: 90 * 20
Working sets: 135 * 15, 180 * 8, 8, 8 reps

Seated Dumbbell Shrugs
Working sets: 100 * 30, 125 * 20, 20, 25, 25 reps

Bodyweight: 244.6 lbs [lost waterweight over the weekend]

* Pump was unreal and vascularity is dramatically increased since the beginning of the cycle. I was looking enormous. A buddy of mine shot a video of my 495 * 8 reps on rack deadlifts, and I'm hoping he'll post it. Strength is up. I haven't done rack deads line months, and I was HELLA surprised of my strength !! Was NOT expecting to go there; especially considering I wasn't using a belt. From years of squatting with AWFUL form [high school years], my lower back has built up tremenedous strength, but even so, today's session surprised the hell outta me !

** Side Effects: Acne is worse . . what the F#CK ?! 6-8 on my outer arm, 8-10 on deltoids/trap/chest. RPN's soap doesn't do any good either. Frequent showers doesn't either. Maybe it's because I stopped using that new Gillette body shower gel. It's been noted for its skin health benefits. But damn . .. I gotta do something. PCT is coming up next Monday. Gyno's the same old story . . the puffiness . . f#ck.

* Happy to have lost some of that water weight. Stomach is real lean now.

surgery removes the glands - it can't come back, cause there's no gland to produce the gyno.

I've heard conflicting views on this. Supposedly it's hard to be certain whether the gland is completely removed or not, so there have been cases where it comes back, but you would definitely have to continue steroid use for it to happen. If I go through with the surgery, I'm done with hormones for good.

I agree. I've had some minor puffiness on cycle before, and it disappeared within some time. I'm crossing my fingers that this is the case in my instance here as well . . . we'll see entering PCT next week.

If it comes to it, I think I'll be putting my F-150 up for sale, downgrade vehicles a bit, and use the extra cash for the surgery. I just want to get it done.

puffy and a hard spot behind the nipple are two different things. If you feel something starting to form behind your nipple, then its time to start worrying. An easy way to tell, is to raise your arm up and press on your nipple and see if you feel a "bb" sized knot.

Dont know if you have health insurance, or what kind it is, but someone told me as long as its not a cosmetic surgery, insurance should cover part, if not all of it.. if its painful to you, then it shouldnt be a cosmetic procedure. I believe its all in the way you explain it to your Dr. and insurance company.

Well, there's two issues with this...

1. The local cosmetic surgeon doesn't take insurance.

2. If you are going to a cosmetic surgeon, doesn't that nullify the insurance option in the first place? Are there other doctors you can go to for this procedure?

I'm not sure, just regurgitating what I had heard through the grapevine.

I'll have to look more into it. I'd love to get it covered, but I just don't know if it's possible or not. I haven't read up too much on it.

I don't know what kind of doctor could/would do the procedure through insurance, but it certainly wouldn't be a cosmetic surgeon. I understand what tattoopierced1 is saying, and it's possible you might be able to get insurance to at least partially cover it, but you'd have to go to the right doctor (I'm not sure what kind), you'd have to play your cards right (you are there because it causes you PAIN, NOT because it's embarrassing, etc.), and you'd have to luck out with your insurance accepting the claim.

I'd def. have to get insurance to pre-approve it before hoping they'd cover any of it..

But yes, the right thing to do is to see a doctor and tell him it is painful and inhibits day to day functions and go from there... its worth checking into.

Well, it wouldn't be a lie. It's painful off and on.

I'd say painful all the time. ;) And you can't wear your backpack at school cuz the straps irritate it and cause further pain, you have to wear loose clothing all the time, you can't wear suits cuz they're too tight and cause pain, you can't sleep on your stomach or side, etc... You've really gotta just play your cards right and hope for the best.

My friend went to Kaiser and insurance covered his gyno surgery. I think he co-payed $30 or something really cheap.

Sweet. Maybe I could make a vacation out of it...

I'd have to get that worked out somehow, though. Over the phone consultation? I wouldn't know how to go about that. I'll have to look more into all my options.

I'd make an appointment with your primary care physician, he can then send you where you need to go from there.

That's probably right. Man I can't stand doctors. He'll probably tell me to stop taking creatine or something.

I love my doctor.. if I ever need anything, I can call him and he'll call in a prescription without having to have me make a doctors visit.. gotta love when the doc is your friend too...

surgery removes the glands - it can't come back, cause there's no gland to produce the gyno.

I've been told by a cosmetic surgeon it can come back. I wonder if there are different surgical procedures by different doctors.

Yep make sure to say it is painful. It's no different then a any other pain that is interfering with your day.
