Is it a photography class?
Yea, four of them actually. I gave a lecture to the entire photography program at the school. It was pretty rewarding in of itself to do it, but it turned out I got paid at the end. I had agreed to do it without any agreement about pay, but I got handed a check at the end... I was pretty stoked. I want to teach the subject in the future... it will require me getting my masters degree, which is a few years off financially for me. In the meanwhile I think that participating in the education community in ways like this will help me get a better hold on whatever position opens up next in the area.

Being in and around fitness do you take any physique pictures? Seems there would be a decent market for that for extra money too.

Nobody has ever approached me to take them. It's definitely a thought, I would probably have to go study nudes (cue the jokes but seriously though, that is how you learn to shoot the human form) again, I haven't shot anything like that since college. I really have to separate myself from the "less tasteful" side of photography. There is a pretty big difference between artistic nudes and pornography in a photographer's eyes, but the line is really thin in most observers minds. That being said, being a portrait/wedding/event photographer I have stayed away from shooting nudes just to keep my portfolio tasteful to even the most reverent eyes. Honestly the best photographers for physique photography would be those who specialize in artistic nudes. I have NO desire to shoot a bodybuilding show. Event photography like that bores the be-jebus out of me, and I am pretty sure that most magazines/bb'ing show coverage is a small community of the same photographers... breaking into bb'ing/fitness magazines would be somewhat difficult I imagine. One would probably have to assist, and my ego is honestly pretty big to go back to assisting. :shrug: Another thing is that I like separating my work from my pleasure. It's the reason that I am not a personal trainer... I think it would just destroy the gym experience for me to have to deal with it more than on just my terms.

I would do them for a friend or if I was approached, but I would have to get a new DBA title so that I could separate work like that from the day to day work that I do at the moment.

Shows that your not only good at what you do, but KNOW what your doing! I mean that in the sense that you can explain what your doing and why! Props for that brother! Sweet man, I am looking forward to it. Unfortunately, I have been very ill for the past three days. I have lost almost all my water in my body and all my strength is shot to sh*t. I didn't eat for two days. This is pretty sh*tty at this point in the cycle, but I am feeling a little better, and am just going to rest and try to make the best out of it. Hopefully I can be back to the gym by Sunday... I'll keep you guys updated.

Thanks man... this one took a ton out of me... might have totally blown my cycles gains because of the inability to eat for the past two days. IDK... I am afraid to weigh myself at the moment... I might smash the scale, but looking in the mirror... doesn't make me happy.

Thanks bud. I am really just bummed because it was going so well for me. I haven't been sick like this in years.

I'm gonna go get a footlong italian sub and order double meat. I'm force feeding myself, but I'm determined to at least bounce somewhat back.

GOAL: Back to the weights on Sunday.

I've been a little ill myself for the last 4 days. Still training though. I hurled violently after Tuesday morning's workout. Gotta love that. LOL :puke:
Sweating much more than usual, losing water, getting dehydrated, no appetite, etc.... The same shit that you've been dealing with.

Tis the fukkin' season I guess. :frustrate

I've been superdosing R-ALA, cissus, vitamin D3, vitamin C, taking sustain alpha (liqua vade), additional resveratrol (i have a dwindling stash of Giant's) and have not gotten "the flu' as of yet. Both of my parents and my younger brother have all had the swine flu and I've been in direct contact with them. Must be doing something right.

Sounds money! Slow progression back is right where you want to be, the fallback of hitting hard to early is soo bad. Trust me I've been there.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I am finally feeling better, my lungs/respiratory system has been the last to heal, I still have some stuff lingering in there, but I am definitely back to feeling like my old self. With a week and a half still to go I think I'll still be able to pull this one off.

I have been in Houston visiting my little sis, and I had the pleasure of meeting up with Mr. Kleen and tearing up some iron at his house. He helped me out with my squats, and we got some good deadlifts in as well. I was squatting belt-less, which tends to mess with my head, but I changed a few things about my technique that I think really will help me and my overall leg growth.

I had gone to a local 24 hour fitness near my sister's apartment, and I was able to put up the 100's 4 times on the incline db press, so I think my strength has came back to me.

I will begin logging my numbers again starting next workout, which should be Saturday for an upper body workout. I will finish my cycle on DC but I feel that it may have contributed to me getting sick, I may have just wore myself out. I think I am gonna take some time off from DC starting with my PCT for this cycle. From here on out I think I will be doing 6 week blasts, as I just feel that I am pushing my luck with these 8-10 week blasts. I am not sure what program I am going to run, I have thought about something like GVT or something along the lines of a workout involving more volume... anyone got any ideas? I could just go back to my old volume routine, and with a few tweaks I think I could make good gains on it again, I seem to have passed my old plateau. I would love to hear the opinions of you guys about the program that I should go with for a month or two before I resume DC.

Right back at cha bro. I hope that you and Mr. Kleen completely destroyed those weights!!!

And I agree with you on those blasts. I consider myself a pretty tough old bastard, but I don't see how even the younger lifters can blast for 12 weeks or more and continue to increase weights consistently. Not if they're going all-out like you're supposed to. I've shortened my "blasts" down to about 6 weeks. Then I "cruise" for 2 whole weeks no matter what I'm feeling like. I make myself cruise. I know that it will benefit me more in the long run.

But for the last couple of months I've shifted my training away from DC style to incorporating drop sets, super sets, and pre-exhaustion sets. And I'm loving it. I feel that it's even more intense than the rest-pause sets of DC. And I'm starting to lean out real nicely. This is like pre-contest type training that I see lots of pros use. Let me tell you, there's nothing sissy about triple drop sets!!! :firedevil:

Oh, yea... Mdrol caused us both to have a gyno flare up, and when I tried to run Tren it flared up again.

This time I dont think I had any gyno, just got kinda soft in the chest and the formestane has taken care of that. With the Mdrol/Tren instances, I had pain in my nips... not this time. I think I was just holding some water from the 4ad. The AI solved that problem for me.

Oddly, though, people are always saying how Letro kills sex drive and causes major joint pain at the does I'm on. I can honestly say my sex drive is through the roof and have no joint issues at all. :dunno: - Maybe PRIME, GHenerate/I-GH-1, and all the other goodies are keeping happy tams happy.

People are always saying the same about ATD also. And it's never hurt my libido nor caused any joint issues either. In fact, it sends my libido through the roof. And this is how it should perform. When you lower estrogen, your body senses it and then sends the signal for the testes to create more testosterone in order to aromatize and create more estrogen to achieve homeostasis.
But, these compounds can react very differently in varying individuals. Looks like you and I are a couple of the lucky ones!!!

There are two reasons I can see us reacting this way...

1) We have higher than normal estrogen (probably also meaning higher Test), thus, what kills estrogen for most may have less of an impact on you and I.

2) Our sex drives are too legit to quit.

Man G is an animal guys, don't let him fool ya. Had a great workout with him. I have a feeling his quads are going to explode soon too. Even though his lungs tightening up a bit in the middle of the workout G soldiered his way through anyway and killed it. Was nice to workout with someone who had some more experience in DC training than I. G and I swapped pointers on some things that are going to make both of uys better lifters. It really is nice to get some variety in partners in your life every once in a while. Don't miss an op to work out with G, great energy.

On another note though. Someone back there mentioned illness and cycles. I know that was recanted and was restated they meant gyno, but I often get ill in the middle of a test boosting stack. Have no clue why but even my wife mentioned it last time. She was like you know you get that chest cold crap when you take those. I wonder if it is something to do with that or just the increased intensity causing recovery issues. Interesting either way. I supplement a lot with L Glutamine now to keep that at bay and it has been helping a good bit.

Well, I certainly don't see the Resveratrol causing any kind of low-estrogen related illnesses. It doesn't lower estrogen. It just prevents what circulating estrogen you have from attaching to breast tissue. Just like a SERM. It is NOT an AI.

I think that you were correct in your assumption that it's the increase in training intensity that packs a whammy on your CNS and thusly your immune system.
