gotta have those bleh workouts too man. makes the awesome ones just that much better. glad to see you're still tearin it up regardless.
Appetite is crazy high right now. I am aiming for lower carbs these days to lean out before my upcoming Micro cycle next year. It is VERY hard with hungry Ghen makes you. I do have some days where I "refeed" though and get a little wild. I'm amazed at how different your new avi is man. You looked like you were 160lbs in the other one. You look like a solid brick house in your new one. Keep killing it man.Seems to be "kicking in"How much cals are you eating per day btw? Upped them for GHenerate or staying the same?
Just wondered about the appetite..

Sleep is starting to get MUCH better. Last night, I did not wake up once at all! I am very happy with this! Rest has been amazing. Something I am just now noticing which is weird is that I have not had any coffee in over a week. I normally cannot not have coffee in the morning. There is just no way for me to wake up and function. This past week and half I have gotten up and went about my day with ease. Tomorrow is squats so I look forward to seeing some good things happen. I am FINALLY noticing some hardening. Muscles are feeling fuller with even small amounts of carbs.
Very encouraging man! Thanks! I remember a ways back when I was much much leaner and still making strength gains with low carbs. I guess I've forgotten what that was like. Do you have a rough estimate of how long the transition might take on average?
How many carbs are you taking in daily, Met? - I would say it will be a few weeks before your body really adapts to lipolysis, especially since you're not doing any keto-specific stuff.
So maybe I missed something, but you're training fasted now? Sorry, I haven't had time to keep up with the details of everything.

In my experience the average is between 2-3 weeks. It seems a little quicker the lower the carbs are however the transition is harder too. You can add in some grapefruit, and blueberries, both of them will help with the transition. Even though they have carbs although limited, they both tell your body to increase lipolosys. You do not have to be completely carb free for your body to burn fat as the primary source of energy. It naturally wants to go back to that because it is the way your body is designed.
Think of a lion, huge muscles everywhere, very explosive and lives off of meat and greens and perhaps occasional berries or whatever it scavenges on. By greens I mean the random grass and what not they injest to help aid in digestion. By the way that is the same reason you will see our dog or cat eating grass. Has an upset stomach, wants fiber due to constipation or trying to force itself to vomit the bad contents in its stomach. Even way way back in the day before mass civilization came about and people started farming grains and what not for convenience carbohydrate sources were limited to fruits and berries scavenged on during times of poor hunting.
If you plan to do carb refeeds and want the transition to go more quickly forego the first couple refeeds so the body doesn't tilt the energy axis back to carbs until the fat preference has become the new homeostasis. I honestly think no one should do a carb reffed the 1st 2 weeks of low carbing, it is detrimental to the transition in my opinion.

I am definitely going to be taking his word for it and make some adjustments. I am celebrating my 1 year anniversary with the gf tonight and were going out for a fancy Italian dinner. YES, I will be getting steak and veggies![]()
go to outback man... or texas roadhouse...
get a real steak with a sweet potato on the side
I made reservations at a nice restaurant that she really has wanted to go to. Afterward's I am going to take her to this chocolate shop and this all happens to be on a street where that is very scenic. Lots of lights and water fountains and flowers. At dinner, I will be giving her some tickets for her and I to go see the Transsiberian Orchestra...followed by some at home giggitty :hump:
