Mass Adipocide! (Partially-Sponsored, Joint Log)

Wow, apparently my transport is amazing and I didn't even know it!

Gonna start callin' my old beat-up van the Machine Gun Raptor. I've had the thing since my sophomore year of college; I'd sleep in the back with my long board on the weekends in Ventura and Santa Barbara. Get up at 4:30 and spend the day surfing. Haven't been able to part with the old thing because of all the fond memories.

That sounds so money...although Resolve's pet raptor has machine guns for arms..hard to really compete with that.

Mental note, never piss off Resolve or face the wrath of the Raptor!

:redeemerwhore:

so whats the word-you liking AT-2 as much as i am? 3rd week really showed nice results for me.

You guys are having a party in here! :D

Yesterday I took 2 X-Force with my second dose of A-T2. It was an amazing combo! I had jitter-free energy all afternoon/evening at work. I've just taken a couple X-Force- looking forward to seeing how my day goes.

I am hoping to lift tonight. I'm still not 100% better from my cold, but I think I may be well enough to throw some weights around. I don't expect my lifts to be outstanding. It will be good to get some exercise though.

X force has caught my attention recently. I'll have to do more research on it. Keep killing it in here guys...er guy and gal :sly:

Yesterday morning I stacked X-Force with T2 again. This combo is incredible! The energy boost is insane and jitter-free, lasting all day. It made working out a breeze, even after a full day of work.

Workout:

Clean and Press:
8x3: 8, 95x3, 100x4

Chin Ups:
BW x4, BW+10x 3, 2x5

Overhead Lunges:
4x10 w/ 35 lb plate held over head

Cable Curls:
4x8-10: 60-70 lb

I took this workout easy. I'm still sick and I don't want to relapse. My throat is still pretty sore and I was up most of the night coughing. :P No fun, but I'll get through it.

Fat Loss:

I'm still seeing results, slowly but surely. I've been weighing in at 168 the last week and I am seeing my abs lean out a little bit. :)

Man I have been gone a while... took me almost 45 minutes just catching up. Well everything I have already read and the specials at NP got me in on a double order of this with Lean Extreme, one for me and another for the wifey! Hopefully we get as good of results as you guys are. However looking at these I may want a stim of some sort to add in with it???

IC, I am a big fan of Yohimbine for it's ability to really heat up the areas of fat in the abdomen for men and thighs for women. It stimulates release in those site specific areas even though systemic in application. (unless used transdermally) I tend do get better sweats off of the Y, and if I need to go with a stim with this I will pick up a bottle of NP Y-HCL 2.5mg with each dose should put some serious sweating into the mix or make a transdermal with some Emu oil (props to TG for that EMU oils as a transdermal solution).

Another thing I noticed about Y is that the anxiety and stomach discomfort seem to go away with continued use. It used to get my stomach upset but not anymore. Now it is just nice clean energy. I never got the shakes from anything with Y in it though unless it had ephedrine in it too.

I worked out yesterday, but I only did some light squats and push ups. I wasn't feeling very well and figured it would be best to rest up so that I could get a great workout in today.

Day 18

Energy:

I've been buzzing today! I went to bed WAY to late last night and in an attempt to wake myself up for a hard workout this morning I took two X-Force and Alpha T-2 on an empty stomach. The result has been a steady flow of energy all day and setting PRs in the gym.

Workout:

Deadlift:
135x5, 185x3, 205x3, 215x3, 225x3 Haven't lifted this much weight for a few months
95 lb x 15, 105x 15

Dips:
BWx5, BW+10 x3, 25x3, 35x3, 45x3, 60x3 PR! 5 lb increase since last time I maxed out

Standing DB Military:
5x6 w/ 37.5 lb DBs

I ended my workout with five 15 sec sprints/45 sec rest in between. I'm going to be incorporating more cardio into my workouts since I know this will make a huge difference in my fat loss.

Fat Loss:

I had a cheat meal yesterday and I'm feeling a little bloated right now, but fat loss has been steady. I'm at about 167 lb right now. I know that I could be losing fat faster, so like I said I'll be doing more cardio in the form of HIIT and body weight circuits.

bw-45 minutes non-stop treadmill time 3xweek will do amazing things for fat loss.

Triple Update: Days 17,18,19

Grad School is no joke. It's finals week starting Monday, and I've got lots of reading to do. I'm actually in the lab right now, on a Saturday, so that I can get some experiments and cell maintenance taken care of, rather than having to deal with them during the week.

I weighed in at 242 yesterday morning, so that's another pound decrease.

T2: 2/2 is not making that much of a difference for me. I think I will stick with this dosing for the time being, but so far I don't notice much additional benefit over 2/1 dosing.

Don't take away from that the idea that T2 isn't doing anything. To the contrary, you've all seen first hand the 5lb I've lost in the 19 days I've been on this stuff, and heard from multiple mouths the thermogenic effect this stuff has. I'm just saying that increasing the dose beyond 3/day has diminished returns for me so far.

Kleen, glad to see you took the plunge on this. Yeah, I would recommend a stim with it, though Lean Xtreme might be enough. T2/LX will be a very fun stack.

E-911: (X-Force Really Still takin' a break on this stuff and testing out other combos. Today I used X-Force in conjunction with the T-2 and it was decent. Not outstanding, but then I only used 2 caps, when I best respond to 3. In fact, one of my all-time favorite pre-workout stacks is 3 X-Force, 1 T-911, 5g CreMono and 12-15scoops of BC+EAA. ASGT/AP simplifies and economizes that stack pretty well, but I still recommend giving it a go if you've never tried X-Force.

The Workouts:
So, I've lifted consecutively for the last 3 days, but since it was a deloading week, there hasn't been too many exciting highlights. Still, I'll give you all the bullet points worth mentioning:

On Thurs I chinned 125 for 3, bigtime PR.

On Fri I floorpressed 295 for 3 as part of a tri-set, and dipped +105 for 3 in another tri-set. Neither are PRs, but are the heaviest I've been able to go during a tri-set day.

Saturday, today, I DB swinged 105 for 3, a PR but not too noteworthy. Also preacher curled 115 for 10.

I've been kicking ideas around for the next time I change up my routine. I'm happy, for the most part, with how I've got things laid out right now, but I do feel like my legs are lagging a bit. This is, unfortunately for me, genetic - every man in my family has skinny legs in comparison with his torso. So I've been considering a leg focused program for a while, though I'm not sure exactly how I want to lay that out yet.

I have NP Geranium as a stim also, that kicks at 60 mgs per capsule. I sweat like I am being wrung out.

congrats on the PRs my friend!!! And enjoy finals week!!! you scientist always have loads of studying to do!!

I rarely do cardio for 45 minutes. Most ever is about 30. I really don't enjoy it. That's why I love sprints . I can get my cardio done quickly and I see great results in fat loss.

a lot of people don't like doing long cardio sessions, i have got so used to them that i actually enjoy them-most of the time, lol. sprints are great, but they are not equal to 30+ minutes of sustained cardio. i once read that after you get past 30 minutes is where you are burning fat stores.

It'd be nice if it were that simple, biochemically. :)

Unfortunately, energy substrates are numerous and simply elongating cardio doesn't necessarily mean more fat is burned. Hormonal constitution will play a large role here.

Not to mention the cortisol induction of longer duration cardio, the post-activity oxygen consumption of HIIT, and the great anaerobic load and therefore lipolytic tendencies of sprints.

I'm not saying steady-state for 45min won't do you good. I'm just saying that going beyond 30min isn't magically a "light-switch" to burning fat. If you're already in a caloric deficit, you're already metabolizing adipose from the moment you set foot on the treadmill.

It just comes down to which method you are ultimately capable of better employing and via which you are therefore able to burn more calories.

I had best results when I was doing a mixture of HIIT and low-intensity. I did 30mins FASTED low-intensity on off days, and 15mins of HIIT post-training on lifting days. The result was the best I have ever looked in my life:

...however, that came at the price of having absolutely no life, so, I don't look like that anymore, but I am a much happier individual. I no longer spend every 1.5hrs in the kitchen. :)

for me i do intervals on treadmill. alternating between flat, all out sprints and elevated slow jog. i did this for 77 minutes this morning.

i also like to do 20 minutes rowing machine/20 minutes stairmaster and 20 minutes treadmill.

but i have a wife who takes care of things that need to be done-including cooking, so besides for work i have a lot of free time, lol.

Money well spent.

close to 30 years- i figure i could of bought a bigger house/a boat/vacation home somewhere warm and have a fat bank account if i had stayed single, lol.

but i wouldn't have my 3 kids, and someone who loves me! so yeah...money well spent.

For sure, man. All that stuff wouldn't mean anything if you didn't have anyone to share it with.

Post is useless without recipe. Recipe or it didnt happen.

Reps are en route for retrieval of said recipe. You are a gentlelady and a scholar.

Yeah, the actual protocol would be:

1 Tbsp Coconut Oil
2 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
1 Tbsp PB
Stevia to taste

In a rubber egg-poaching dish, melt the coconut oil by placing the dish into a small pot of boiling water. Once the oil is liquified, remove the dish from the boiling water, add the cocoa and stevia to the oil and mix. Separately, add a bit of stevia to the PB and roll the PB into a flat disc. Then simply press the pb disc down into the coconut oil "chocolate" until it is thoroughly covered. Freeze for ~20min and enjoy.

I've been having this pretty much every night for my "dessert" and it fits perfectly into my macronutrient needs for that meal.

I can't wait to give that one a go. Guilt free PB Cups... is there another Heaven???

I love to cook man. A lot of the meals I make are recipes I've created - I think I've posted enough of them over the years to make a book. :p

Some of my current faves are turkey chili and punjab curry - you gotta include those spices when you're on a cut. They're just too darn good for you to leave out!

that makes 2 of us... I tried going to culinary school while out here teaching ROTC, but I couldn't squeeze it in. Pretty demanding class schedule!!

Being a healthy, fresh-chef is awesome when I have girls over. I've made the mistake of experimenting with new dishes on a few dates, which was dumb and ended poorly, but regardless we have a good time getting together in the kitchen, sipping wine and making a meal. Probably one of my favorite things to do with the girls I have over. Cooking together seems to bring about some very interesting conversations. - High counters, heat, knives, hot towels... It's just a sexy time in general. :D

...oh, and the trick is to have the girl do something easy but important. Like making the salsa. One time I was making Mango Chicken and Salsa and had her make the salsa. If the meal tastes terrible, you can just blame it on bad salsa.

ohhhh that is SOOOOO wrong, yet so right.... But you never said how Met took it??? He doesn't like having his Salsa insulted!!!

I get it..its like were a gay couple ..well done sir. You sunk our gay battleship

I get it..its like were a gay couple ..well done sir. You sunk our gay battleship

ROFL... I don't even know what to say after that one Met. I read that and hear an incredibly dry voice/sense of humor coming through and that makes it so much more funny! :biglaugh:

Met, Isn't a sunken gay battleship already called a submarine? Thou doth confuse me.

Army, don't mistake his passive aggressiveness for disdaine... He is just upset that he is learning that IC didn't like his salsa from you and not first hand.

By the way that stuff sounds great will have to give it a try too.

 you guys are a trip

All I'm getting from this conversation is that "salsa" is a new euphemism for something far less appealing than it sounds.

I quite literally meant salsa. :dunno:

No, seriously, I said "You make the salsa." - I screwed up the chicken, and then blamed her. It's as simple as that.

If I even tried to agree with the both of you, I'm sure it would be turned into a gay joke, where I am the b1tch. So I'll just hold my tongue to save face.

...oh wait. damnit :34:

Well, as Kurt Fuller once said in the sacred text of Wayne's World: "And I love you. Because I've learned that Platonic love *can* exist between two grown men."

FISH LIPS!!!!

FISH LIPS!!!!

Yes, Honey Bunch?

Anyways, Day 22

Tired today - rundown, stressed, with knots in the back of my neck and anxiety being held at bay with self-discipline. Ahh, finals week.

Gonna rest up tonight and come back better tomorrow.

T2: Sweated like mad yesterday, but was too busy to notice today. Weighed in at 242 again, so no difference on the scale from over the weekend. However, I had yet to go to the bathroom, so I think my weight was somewhat inflated.

Other Stim: Used Focus XT today - it's like a tasty treat to have in the morning, with no cals.

Blah, the Workout: Push Giant/Super-set day

Giant-Set: 5sets, 2-3reps per lift, no rest til end of set
Seated Overhead Partial:
205
Lateral Raise: 50s
Push-Press: 205
Front Raise: 50s
This is exactly where I was last week. Though I managed to crank out a couple of additional reps, it was only one or two across all the sets. My knees were tight and the bar felt heavy.

DB Elevated Split Squats: 55s x5, 60s x5, 70s x5, 80s x5

High Rep Leg Press: 90x100, 140x100, 230x100, 230x75
Ss'd w/Leg Press Calf Raises: 410 for 4x12
Didn't feel like BB Hacks, so I branched off into something that sounded fun. Leg Press really doesn't allow much ROM for a guy with legs of my length, unless I throw 'em really high and wide, which isn't too good for quad activation. Still, go high enough in reps and/or load and anything is possible. Sets of 100 I haven't done in a long time, but they definitely get the job done.

Incline Bench: 225 for 4x3
Ss'd w/Incline Flies: 40s x10, 45s x10, 50s x10, 55s x10
Man, I've gotten accustomed to giving everything I've got in those first few reps - changinig over to sets of 10 really proved difficult with those flies. Chalk it up to fatigue too. Interestingly, I feel less worked and less of a pump in the chest in comparison to the lower reps/higher weight.
