Log of Unparalleled Dimensions: Viking & Irish Take On Controlled Labs

Day 22

Pre-wo: 5 BlueGene, 10 WhiteFlood, 1 scoop GreenMag, 2 Recreate, 2.5mg Y-hcl, 1 AP, 1.6g 1-C

Intra-wo: 40g BCAAs, 6scoop GlycerGrow

Post-wo: 200mg P-Slin, 1scoop LP, 30g WMS, 1/2cup oats

Day 4: Quads/Traps/O. Upper (Fasted, Supersets)

BB Hacks: 95x20,18,16,14,15,14,14,13 (up in reps)
Leg Ext.: 170x19,18,17,16,16,14,16,12 (up in reps)
BB Shrugs: 155x19,18,17,15,15,15,15,15 (up in reps)

Flat Bench BB Press: 155x15, 175x10, 205x6, 225x4, 230x3, 235x3 (+5lbs)

Clean & Press (That's what DFly calls it, and I like that better than Clean & Jerk): I did one warmup set today, and wasn't feeling it. My wrists were giving me trouble, so I did...

Standing BB Press: 95x10, 115x6, 135x3,4,4

I may just stick with the Standing BB Press. The main reason I was doing C&J was for the pressing movement, so I could probably scrap the Cleans. We'll see. I just don't want to deal with any possible injuries; minor OR major.

So, it was a pretty good workout. I was happy about the increase on my Bench Press. That would be nice if I could increase it by 5lbs every week! I've really been adding some strength the last couple of weeks which I really wasn't expecting at all. I'm VERY excited about that.

No real complaints today other than the wrist problems during C&J; however, this dude in the gym kept trying to talk to me about American and Venezuelan foreign policy...Now, I'd love to chat about that, but NOT during my workout. I probably could have shaved 20mins off my time in the gym if he wasn't yapping. Nice enough guy, just didn't feel like talking while I was hitting the iron. Sometimes I'm just too nice.

Damn son! Some crazy high rep ish goin on in here!

I know! This is the first time I've considered anything past 15reps as an actual set. It's pretty intense! The pumps are crazy, and the burn is wretched!

I haven't been doing any forced reps on this workout program. If I can't get it up in a slow and controlled manner, I don't lift it. It's odd, but it seems to be working well.

Just a little FYI...

If any of you need to sell some books, half.com has this super easy thing going. Once you have your account, you just type in the ISBN and it pulls up all the info on it, along with the average price it's sold for.

I just sold my two most expensive books from last semester within an hour. I'm pretty sure I made a profit on them.

I was wondering the same thing. I think he's chasing down some women for the weekend. I hear its good cardio.

NAH, it is not odd, it is called - not cheating, and yeah, it works well! :D

Just reading your high reps is causing the lactic acid to build up within my muscles. Oh the burn!! FIRE in da hole!! :smite:

In that last workout, Irish, you subbed in Military for your clean and jerks because you primarily wanted a pressing movement.
You might consider doing push-presses; one of the all around best pressing lifts there is, IMO.

Also, there is a difference between Cleand and Press and Clean and Jerk. With the press, you are primarily using upper body strength to drive the bar up to lockout. With the jerk, you drop into a half-squat and explode with your legs to drive the bar overhead.

Clean and Press was actually removed from the Olympics some years back because what counted as proper form was too vague and they were getting guys who could basically lean back (after cleaning the bar to the shoulders) and perform a standing bench press almost.

Week 3 Supp Updates

BlueGENE: This stuff is pretty killer in the realm of endurance, stamina, and libido. This is a sick, SICK, product, and I think it would be even better taken at higher doses (6-8tabs). I can't say for sure if the cissus in it is helping out or not, but my knee problems from squats seemed to cease rather quickly.

WhiteFLOOD: Definitely a great stim/pre-wo concoction. I love how it now comes in tablets. I've only been dosing it before weight-training and that has worked out great. Excellent pump. Nice, steady, juiced-stim feeling, along with increase in endurance. As I've mentioned before, I think the BlueGENE compliments this product extremely well.

GreenMAGNITUDE: I honestly have to say that this is really one of the few creatine products that has ever done anything for me. I've tried numerous products, including bulk DiCreatine Malate (this is one of GM's ingredients), and none of them have done for me what this does. I'm guessing the magnesium-creatine or whatever it is has something to do with it. Next creatine product I try will most definitely be GreenBULGE. I'm real interested in that stuff.

GlycerGROW:As I've said before, this stuff totally kicks gluteus maximus! I've been taking a higher dose, 6scoops intra-wo on weight-training days, and 4scoops on cardio/off days. Keep water intake HIGH while on this product to really reap the benefits. Pump and volumization is HIGH! Even on off days I'll sip this stuff and feel a pump...You can REALLY feel the GMS pulling water into your muscles.

I'm glad you're seeing positive results from the Blue GENE, this offers some more street cred to my reputation as I HIGHLY praised Blue GENE back when I logged it  Especially since I noted mostly on the increased stamina.

Ya, man. I love the stuff. If I ever get a chance I'm going to get a couple bottles of BlueGene, a tub of PurpeWrath, a bottle of GreenBulge, and a couple bottles of Anabolic Edge and stack all those together. I think that would be sick.

First&third pic: I've never EVER seen your delts so ripped before :clap2:

...and, Compared to: http://anabolicminds.com/forum/supplement-reviews-logs/111706-log-unparalleled-dimensions-17.html#post1735789

Second pic: Bis look fuller, Lats are MUCH wider  or the waist is smaller ...or both.... ... BOTH :D

I'm diggin your HIIT&supp philosophy IC

Thanks, DF. My shoulders can look pretty shredded; the lighting makes a big difference.

As for my waist...yes, it's smaller. I've actually got to pick up some new underwear this week; the waistband is getting too loose! :p - I hate buying my underwear, too. The ones I like are EXPENSIVE! They're a mix of cotton and spandex...I know, I know, I'm a girly-man.

Delts are definitely bigger and more defined.

Thank yuh, ma'am! Again, I think the lighting makes a difference.

Looking solid Irish!
Keep working your plan.

Will do, Snag! Thanks for all the tips.

Day 24

Pre-wo: 5 BlueGene, 1 scoop GreenMag, 2 Recreate, 1 AP, 25mg Ephedrine, 2.5mg Y-hcl, 1.6g 1-C, 3 pumps Napalm applied to lower-abdominals

Workout: Cardio (Fasted, Low-impact/Low-Mod Intensity)

Treadmill: 30mins @ 14% incline; 3.1mph

Drank 1/3rd of my Intra-workout drink (40g BCAAs/4scoops GlycerGrow)

Stairstepper: 15mins @ Intensity-12

HR was consistently between 155-165 for the full 45mins.

It was an excellent cardio day. Within fifteen minutes I had a thick layer of sweat and great intensity and endurance (not that I really NEEDED a lot of endurance for today's workout). Hopefully these cardio days are doing the trick to burn off some of that extra fat. I don't really know what my maintenance calories are, but I'm hoping my diet is about 100-200cals or so above, allowing my energy expenditure to burn the extra cals for a recomp effect.

I'm watching Fox News right now and they're talking to the Israeli Prime Minister and the sound-delay is about 7secs. - It's very awkward and annoying to watch.

Diggn the delt striations my man!

Picture Updates...Again!

I know I'm putting up a lot of photos, everyone, but I'm at my parent's house and their lighting is so much better so I wanted to get some good ones. I can acutally see a BIG difference in these compared to the last ones I took here.

This is about ~4hrs after my cardio session.

Youre right lighting is better. Abs are killer man! Cephalic vein has me green with envy!

hahaha  Nice choice of words

Irish, you big ham you..now who's the one looking all happy??
You noticed that sheepish little grin too, huh? He ought to gloat a little. He's looking great!

That's just the face of someone about to pass out from flexing...I had the cam set to snap after 5 seconds. - I was pretty much holding my breath and flexing that entire time.

Looking swole my celtic friend!! :head:

Hopefully I can bring out the delts a little further.
That's one of my main objectives as well. You can tell from my avatar that they are lacking in roundness. I need to bring out the medial heads more. I've been doing one-arm side laterals bringing the dumbell or cable behind my back instead of in the front. It isolates it more IMO.

I've been working the Atlantis Lateral Raise (standing lateral raise machine) as well as Upright Rows, both of which seem to be helping...They seem to be sore after my O. Upper Body days as well.

Have you tried pre exhausting them before doing presses? This helped me alot!

That's sort of how I've been doing it...On my O. days, my delts get slammed during bench press, and then I do my Standing BB Presses or C&J's.

...Well, I'm sitting here watching Bush defend his term in the final news conference. He really spoke from the heart and I enjoyed hearing it. I don't agree with everything he's done, but you really can't say he didn't protect this country. His immigration policies sucked, his spending sucked, but he protected the heck out of this country, and when it comes down to it, that's what we needed most in the last few years.

Weight - ?

.. I headed back home last Wednesday, a two day road trip. My brother came with me to Texas, and stayed with me a couple of nights. I showed him two nights on the town, Thursday and Friday, before taking him to Dallas on Saturday. It's been a busy week since I last updated; too many hours on the road, too many nights out .. too much fun ! Hahaha

I worked out both Thursday and Friday of last week. Took Saturday & Sunday off from all training; much needed!

.. upon coming back from Colorado Thursday, I weighed in @ 234.5 lbs. This was the first time I had weighed in since mid-December; a 8.5 lbs gain over the break without noticable fat gain.

.. I'm out of White Flood since a week ago. I stopped taking Green MAGnitude a week and a half ago due to major laxative effects. I ran out of Blue Gene today (final day @ 6 caps/day). I have 1/3 bottle left of GlycerGrow still. BIG fan of this product !

.. a closer, more detailed review will come.
