Thanks Honestly at first my thought was sweet and Jalapeno??? WTH??? However being me I am required to try all that is hot to see if I like it or not. It is actually really good. One of those combinations that surprises you because it sounds unappealing; yet the contrast in flavor is really good.
Haha those foods that you usually scratch your head over usually do turnout pretty good. I need to experiment with my foods more!

With that said, i'm off to make a shake! :D

I followed my usual morning supplement protocol plus a Formadrol to alleviate some itching in my right nipple. With the extra testosterone I am suffering a little estro rebound from coming off y PCT and freeing up so much test while aromitase levels are high.
Good call, homey. You have to be really in tune with your body to recognize the small things that most people seem to overlook or merely neglect to act upon.
I do the same thing. When I see something arise, I treat it immediately instead of letting things progress to where they're spiraling out of control.

Sometimes I will up my dose of Arimidex if I "feel" the estro rising.

Oh.......and great 1rst week review on the EndoSurge, bro.

Day 9 workout looks phenomenal. I remember those warrior workout, some of my favorite workouts for conditioning and cutting. Not so great for powerlifting, but bodybuilding and general athletic purposes it's top notch.

I gotta catch up on the rest of the log. Looking good Chris! And it makes me happy to see the wifey getting in on the logging action. She is off to a really strong start!

Day 10 Major improvements in endurance!!!

Well let's just get right into it, today was a cardio day and as you all know I am switching it up from just walking the treadmill. Wednesdays are now my Jump Rope and Swim days. Well today was very nice improvement. As I said I noticed my conditioning has definitely been improving, well it sure showed itself today.

Morning Supps - 2 Endos, Formadrol, and 1 scoop Peach Tea Lit Up (first time trying it) I like it but not made for a pump. I also take 3 collagen caps daily and will not be listed any longer since it does not offer any perfomance enhancement.

Jump Rope 8 sets of 60, 15-30 second active rest between.

Swimming - Here is where things got good. Last week I did 10 laps up and back swimming up and then walking sideways, backwards and jogging in the water back. I got 10 total laps and was feeling pretty toasted. THIS WEEK I did 20 total laps in the same manner. I was pretty whooped but I felt great and accomplished when I finished it up.

Haha those foods that you usually scratch your head over usually do turnout pretty good. I need to experiment with my foods more!

With that said, i'm off to make a shake! :D
Haha you like stuff that sounds wierd but tastes good. Try a peanut butter and pickle sandwich! Sounds gross but the dill pickle and peanut butter actually compliment each other. My mother introduced me to them. I haven't had any in a while but honestly it is good.

I am there!

Exactly! As soon as I felt it I sprung into action. The hard part is trying to get it to the right amount so that I level off instead of end up with low estrogen again setting me up for another rebound.

Thanks on the review, feeling good Endo is the real deal for sure.

Yah that's a solid review no doubt.
Thanks!

Yeah, I am now wondering if I can find some habanero jelly. I bet it is out on the net for sure.

Thanks Andres! I am pretty excited to be doing it again although my elbows are noticing the extra work. I think I am going to cut ut the drops on the arms. Maybe do 2 work sets at moderate intensity for added volume, or just one good and hard one. It isn't like the arms aren't already getting a lot of work.

Yeah, Jo is doing great, she has always been an intense lifter but the logging is new. However she does not like to do poorly at anything so we can expect one hell of a log.

Hmm...not for pump...im gonna be watchign how Lit-Up treats you. Im trying C4(found a killer sale on it) out and its great for pumps but im seeing how it treats me in the long run with performance. I had been on Maniac for close months so it was time to switch it up. I may want to run Lit-Up stacked with testopro and stoked for a well rounded T-boosting stack(of course I'll add LCLT and HGHpro).

WHat stroke are you doing when your hitting laps? The stroke, personally, makes a huge difference in the swim.

Day 11 Workout 5

Pre-Workout Supps - 2 EndoSurge, 1 Formadrol, 1.25 scoop of Lit Up 5g BCAA.

Pull Ups - BWx6, +25x7, +25x6 > bw x5 > 135x8 on pull downs - I got less here than I did last week. I really think it had something to do with me doubling the load on swimming yesterday. I know my lats / rhomboids were toasted and pumped like crazy yesterday after swimming.

Cable Crossovers - 60x15, 90x15, 90x15 > 60x8 > 40x10, up 10 lbs on both work sets however the warm up was lighter so a hard comparison to make.

DB Lateral Raise - 30x15, 32.5x15 > 22.5x7 > 15x6 - These felt great and I increased over last weeks weight by 2.5 lbs, per arm that is respectable for a single joint exercise in my opinion.

O Bar Curls - 100x8 > 60x6 - last time I did 115 but only got 5 so next time 105 should do the trick. Trying to keep these really strict reps.

Dips - BW +100 X8 > BWx16 - These were nice and strong but I need to do something to lengthen my belt and haven't yet. That or use a DB somehow.

Hack Squats - 1p per side x15, 2p per side x 15, 3p per side x 8 > 2p x 10 > 1p x 10 - These felt nice, quads were really getting worked. I wanted to see if my hip bothered me with 3 p per side and it did not so I may keep this format on this lift but go a little heavier on the first work set.

Seated leg Curl - 110x12 > 70 x11 > 50x11 - I will have to go up on these for sure next week. I did lying leg curls last week so the numbers will not be comparable to last week.

General Info - I scheduled 2 appointments with an ART specialist for my hip issue, one for Saturday after my workout and one for Tuesday morning after my workout. I will probably go in for a 3rd session the following Saturday as well. It is time to get this problem licked and he did a great job on my elbow last year. He is a Master ART specialist as well as a Chiropractor so he can both work on the hip and make any adjustments needed if out of alignment.

Appetite & Compostion - I have to mention this because it is definitely noteworthy. I have been a lot more hungry this week. I mean I am getting famished. I feel like I can't eat enough! Sticking to my estimates on food is increasingly harder and I am definitely going over on training days. It is okay because I am looking very good in my opinion. I am not sure if I am leaning up or not but I have the impression that I have leaned up further this week.

Yeah I don't really see anything in it directly for pump. I am also not getting the same level of pump that I did on NO Ignite which is honestly excellent for pumps. Now the energy off of this is more subtle than it is explosive, but it lasts a while. I do not get the same thermogenic kick from it as I do from supps containing geranium extract. However the energy is more than sufficient and I have a good drive and focus.

I am doing freestyle. I used to be able to do a couple others but can not remember exactly how to do any of them now. I used to like the butterfly stroke but not sure how that rotation would effect the shoulder so breaking it in with the freestyle.

I don't use weight belts, I mean my theory is if I need one, then I'm lifting too heavy, if I use one when I don't need one, then I am weakening my core! Just my thoughts and opinions on weight belts, but it is also my professional opinion as a CHIROPRACTOR!

I feel the same way about the little pad guys use on the squat rack, lifting gloves, and straps...if you cant do the weight with out it...chances are you probably shouldn't be doing that weight...IMO of course.

I do lift with a belt though.... Ive blown my back too many times. I dont really wear it "tight" I wear it as a battle scar, and a reminder to always keep my core tight.... hahah

Reminds me, I need to go to my massage today... gotta fit it in somewhere... busy busy.

Yeah and i wear gloves because my hands look like swiss cheese after i train really intensely and that's WITH gloves. Without them my hands would be muscle/ligaments and bone.

Wrong kind of weight belt. He is talking about the one to hang the weights of that I mentioned.

PPPPLLLLBBBBTTTT!!!!! ;)

Honestly, I roll a towel around the bar for squats at the gym, and have a cushion for the bar in my garage at home. Why, because I don't like my skin ripping, denting, welting or itching all day from being inflamed from the knurls. I can do the same amount of weight either way so why be more uncomfortable just to prove I am tough? Just because I can take the discomfort does not mean I need to sacrifice comfort to prove it. I have a chin of granite but I don't sit and let people hit me in the face to prove it in martial arts. I use my blocks, my tools if you will to keep it from happening.

When doing higher reps on pulling motions I use my versa-grips same as wraps. I can get an extra 3 reps on about any pulling motion which is working the target muscle even harder, and I am trying to work my back not my forearms. My forearms are plenty big and grip is plenty strong. I have relatively small hands and holding onto a bar with heavy weight for a long period is not as easy for me as someone with average or large hands. It is simply a point of leverage considering the size of the muscles involved leverage is a huge factor in grip, and has nothing to do with the strength of an individuals back. On top of that my elbows get tendinitis relatively easy so I use my versas to ward that off and still be able to train as intensely as I want.

I just bought a new set of gloves today because I am tired of pumice stoning the callouses off of my hands so that I can rub on my lovely wife with out scratching her. Not knocking your opinion at all just telling you about a different side of the coin. I agree that people who rely on these things as a crutch are ridiculous but there are tons of good reasons to use them. Just don't let them be a handicap. If you followed my log a while back I was using chalk and dead lifting 335x20 reps but my callouses were tearing off and I couldn't touch or rub on my wife. I spend a good bit of time rubbing on and touching / massaging my wife and love to do so. Yet if I am scratching her up she doesn't enjoy it and I don't get to do it. It is all different mentalities and priorities. Does not make one more right than the other. Again like you said if you can not do the weight without it then maybe you shouldn't be lifting it but everyone who uses these don't use them as a handicap some use them as tools. I have a weight belt but I don't use it unless I am down below 5 reps often times I will do a 3 rep set on deads without a belt. I am 38 and safety and longevity is more important to me now. Also, think about the fact that someone with recurring back issues can still dead lift with the use of a belt safely where they may not be able to without. Many reasons. However I completely agree there are tons of people who abuse them or wear stuff inappropriately.

Again Turning Green no knocking you by any means I fully respect you and your preferences for your training. I know longer base any of my training or use of training tools I use on what others think but on what I need or want to to do for myself. Same as every other facet of my life. I was the guy drinking a wine cooler at the club while others drank beer because I preferred the taste of a wine cooler. I drink umbrella drinks because I like them better than whiskey. Once, I had a guy at a club try to call me a puzzy because I drank the wine coolers ( Man I am old wine coolers LOL) when every time he took a drink of beer he made a face like someone pissed in his drink. "I laughed and said you are drinking that beer you don't even like trying to be accepted by your buddies, and I am brave enough to go against the macho BS and do what I want regardless of opinion. Think about it who is they puzzy here." His jaw dropped, his friends laughed at him, while I smiled and walked away.

At a comedy show one time I had a comedian mess with me for having a big blue umbrella drink with fruit in it, then he looked at me again and said "Good god man. I guess with those arms you can drink whatever the fug you want huh? I would too." That sentiment just kind of summed up my whole philosophy on things of that nature. it is just the way I have always looked at things. I am happier pleasing myself instead of conforming just to conform. I know you understand that being as creative as you are.

Weight belts are not meant to be cinched up tight they should be a little loose then when you go to lift you inhale into the gut filling it out to fill the belt expanding the core and tightening it making it strong like a mighty oaks trunk. To many people cinch them up tight and completely rely on only the belt. As Resolve would say BELLY FULL!!!! Hell some people wear the damn things as girdles so they "look" like they have a v - taper.

See this is why I need forums like these... I always was taught that the belt should be tight as all hell. Luckily I never though squeezing my stomach in and putting loads of weight on my back a good idea...

Definitely the straps, grips, and cushions make lifting easier. For those going for the big look, or just trying to over tax your bodies I don't see anything wrong with using them. (I have used grips for my deads before). Now i'm training for my judo competitions so I try to stay as raw as I can. I know though that for maximum fatigue on muscles like the back, chest and shoulders the smaller joints/muscles are always going to limit us. Just that for my judo training I need to keep those balanced so I don't rip off my hand trying to pull someone down.

Well I must say I feel like a very creative A$$ right now. My apologies if anybody was offended by my lift assist apparatus comments. I was thinking about the benefits of lifting as natural as possible to dial in fast twitch fibers, balance, grip, etc. Perhaps I should have worded my response differently.

Heheh, No worries buddy. I don't speak for everyone, but for me it all depends on goal. I've been thinking lately that we are just trying to get hormonal responses from our training/eating. Like doing a lot of GPP stuff (i.e. your insane non stop workouts with "light weights"/ conditioning) will tell the body it needs less mass. While the strength/hypertrophy will tell the body we need some muscle cause this fcker is pushing and pulling trucks.

A small confession of mine~ I've always lifted "slow", nothing like GVT but i'd say I never "exploded" out because I always feared injury. There for my muscles are all programmed to be "slow" I can hold, pull, push heavy ass weight... but very slowly.... And thus when I started doing Judo ALL my strength was not effective in countering or attacking... I could defend well, but I have no attack power because it takes too long to activate... So now my new goal going into my EndoSurge combustion recomp is to reprogram all my muscles to be fast twitch. That's why I'm loving your workouts hehe. So motivational.
Donno why I wrote it all here, but be on the look out for my new log :D

Well I must say I feel like a very creative A$$ right now. My apologies if anybody was offended by my lift assist apparatus comments. I was thinking about the benefits of lifting as natural as possible to dial in fast twitch fibers, balance, grip, etc. Perhaps I should have worded my response differently.
Don't sweat it man all of our T-Levels are SUPER HIGH RIGHT NOW! WE ALL ARE SHOWING OUR DOMINANCE LOL

No way not an ass at all!

You know your stuff and have an opinion developed based on that. It is not a wrong opinion, opinions can't be wrong. Don't feel like an ass, it is really hard to tell another side of an opinion in writing and not seem like you are either offended or being defensive. I put the PPPPLLLLBBBBTTTT up there to let you know there was no malice in my answer at all. I just actually thought it was funny that I had just bought new gloves and use every tool you mentioned. I figured I would explain some reasons why and some legit uses for them. Yet in no way at all was I actually offended by your comment. I was also in no way comparing you to the guy in the bar. LOL I like to debate intelligently not argue. That way I learn.

Your reasons are all very accurate and you said it was opinion. You did not word it incorrectly at all. You very well could be right. Some of the weight I am lifting I should probably not be. Not because I can not do so, but because it causes me injury if I don't use the tools and do it. We agree on the same thing though I bet and that is these things should not be used as a crutch but as aids to training. Over use of any of these will cause weakness and imbalance that will sooner or later cause that weak link you create to break. ESPECIALLY the over use or reliance of a weight belt.

KEEP ON BEING YOU AND SPEAKING YOUR OPINIONS FREELY IN HERE GREEN YOU ARE AN IMPORTANT AND VALUED CONTRIBUTOR TO MY LOGS!!!!!

Heheh, No worries buddy. I don't speak for everyone, but for me it all depends on goal. I've been thinking lately that we are just trying to get hormonal responses from our training/eating. While the strength/hypertrophy will tell the body we need some muscle cause this fcker is pushing and pulling trucks.

Belts are for powerlifters mainly. They have to lift too heavy... I would use a belt on very heavy deads other than that my belt is my core muscle. I like the feel and grip I get from bar hands so that's why I don't do gloves. Front squats it is not easy getting balance so I would never use a pad. Balance is the key to this exercise and there is no way the bar would sit right with a pad. The bar never hurts anyway. Even when doing back squats I never felt right with a pad but that's just a preference I am sure, like the gloves. I am using knee wraps and elbow wraps to protect joints. I have get a better set of elbow wraps though.

Day 12 - Cardio

Today was a cardio day, I did the elliptical on an interval setting for 45 minutes and 542 calories. I finished off with weighted ab work, then leg raises and finally crunches.

I can not believe how much my appetite has increased on the EndoSurge. I need to weigh myself, I know I am nice and lean still if not leaner and think I may actually be growing. Of course it is hard to tell when getting leaner if you are growing or just looking like you are but either way hunger has increased dramatically this week.

Oh yeah the boss is ordering from New York Pizzaria today for lunch they are a good Italian joint here in Houston. I am having the Chicken Marsala Pasta so that will be a nice fast breaker for sure. More carbs than I intended to have but it is okay. Not like I am going to just get a salad there...

Yeah I have these short hands, they place the part of my hand that typically callouses on others in a precarious down angle where others can get that section more under the bar when gripping. So I pull a lot of callouses off or tear them jagged without gloves. I do like the way the bar feels in my hands most of the time but my hands don't. As far as squatting it never hurts my back, but I must have tender skin because after I squat it will welt up nasty and bruise sometimes itch really bad from the welting up. However it never hurts when doing the lift.

I have this same problem, very uncomfortable without gloves. The meaty pads push and pinch against the fingers. My hand is a little less than 6" from first wrist wrinkle to tip of middle finger and about 2 1/2 to 3" wide. I work a lot with my hands so I get calluses often and my skin is soft so they tear off easy and painfully which makes me constantly try to avoid them.

I try to keep my hands as smooth as possible for caressing my goddess.
But I lift so heavy that I still get callouses even with lifting gloves on.

Same here it sucks :( I have really small palms with guitar player fingers. Friend at the gym makes fun of my hands but i know he's just worried that i'm catching up to him size wise. :p (He's 6' 5" i think 300+lbs but has a HUGE bone structure)

Lol I had to re-read this a couple times. All I saw was goddess and then talking about a guy friend in the gym and small hands. Wow. These stupid phones make for crazy readings. Lol...

Yeah and i wear gloves because my hands look like swiss cheese after i train really intensely and that's WITH gloves. Without them my hands would be muscle/ligaments and bone.
I have a cute little anecdote to add to this... So I don't wear gloves, mainly because it doesn't really help me in the sense of I still form huge calluses anyway and they make my hands sweat and then they stink up my gym bag, etc. etc. Anyway, back to the cute anecdote, so I have some pretty massive and protruding calluses on my hands and every time, I mean every time my beautiful little 7yr old Ava-Bug (daughter) holds my hand she is picking at my calluses with her finger nails the entire time, as a matter of fact sometimes she will flip my hand over and just pick at them, so weird, her mom was a Picker, so I guess she is too, I mean it is like she gets some kind of enjoyment out of picking at my calluses with her nails, LoL, I just find it so cute!

Too funny, my daughter has done the same thing, I get them too even through the gloves but they are not torn or have jagged edges when i use gloves... I rub her back and sing to her every night when I put her to bed. She told me a little while back Daddy your hands are hurting me , they scratch me. When I stopped wearing gloves they got so rough they were scratching her through her night shirt.

Well that is a good reason too. I don't bitch slap anyone any more, I prefer the back hand... No not really I don't even remember the last time I threw hands out of anger. Easily 10 + years for sure. Just full contact sparring and what not in MMA. I got back into martial arts to learn to control my rage. I have a really vicious streak and I needed to learn how to control it before I landed in the pen for really messing someone up. That or getting shot.

Green now I have a mental pic of you bitch slapping someone and leaving a hand print with 4 distinct lines down the area the palm was missing skin from your callouses tearing the flesh.

Nice workouts Chris, I too have small hands and I alternate between using gloves or not depending on the weight!

Last week I did weighted chins for the first time but didn't have a belt, so I improvised with a climbing sling (stress tested webbing strap double stitched in a loop), a carabiner and a Velcro strap - lucky I have the things to have amongst my crap at home but it works a treat, wear the sling as a belt joined by the carabiner and pass the Velcro through the weight plate (decent piece of rope and a reef knot would work too)

all totally irrelevant of course, but just putting it out there so others might think outside the box when looking to do weighted chins, dips etc rather than spending cash when you might have something that works already.

I wouldn't hit anybody unless it was in a controlled environment or for self defense. I think the last time I really had a physical altercation was when I was working as a corrections officer. I'm not a hot head or out for trouble, besides if I hit some one I'd probably end up doing serious time for manslaughter...I don't mess around. I would love to get into some competitive MMA but there's isn't much offered around here. I coach wrestling here at the high school, but that doesn't do much for me.

I hate wearing gloves myself. I prefer to feel the cold steel in my hands, but then again I'm a blue collar worker that uses his hands all day long at work so its just how I've operated for as long as I can remember. I've tried gloves a few times, but it just ain't the same.

I am an AC spoiled Technical Analyst (computer support) with a large mangina. ;) LOL Okay so the AC spoiled technical analyst part was right anyway.

Green training those wrestlers is no joke. You must have a ton of amazing conditioning drills. I haven't done any of my MMA stuff in quite a while now. Going to start back in Martial Arts but will be more Karate based now. MMA is awesome, and I mean awesome but I have worries that this twice operated on shoulder one of mine, which one of them was MMA related won't take any more twisting and torquing. I don't want to be on Omapalata away from retiring myself from lifting which has always been my passion. Who knows though. I love the rush of it all. That is why I am looking to get back into something at least the full contact sparring would get more aggression out without any danger of a nasty joint lock by someone not experienced enough to know how much pressure is too much pressure when rolling. Knowing me though give me another 6-8 months and I will be willing to try and roll again.

I have awesome workouts for training my wrestlers. The problem is that if you push a kid to hard these days they just up and quit. There are few kids that possess the heart to battle through hard work. Its really sad how much things have changed since I was in high school (10 years ago).
