There are a few ways, as Steve mentions you can wrap it up in aluminum foil, I picked up a veggie grill tray for my grill. Was about $10 has kind of a non stick surface with a lot of holes in it. So the veggies get the full on grill flavor especially since I use wood charcoal and sometimes add some wood chips for a smoky flavor I like the veggies to be in the open. Both ways produce excellent results.
Thanks LTL, I can't even begin to tell you how exciting this is starting to be. I am responding so well to everything we are doing. All I have to do is work hard and follow the plan and I am going to look crazy when this is all said and done!
Yeah it was good, I was actually impressed with how lean the meat was too. There was no strip of fat around it that was trimmed before weighing which is a major plus! I think they just put sea salt, and fresh ground pepper on it too, but really just let the wood flavor and meat speak for itself.
This way is great I do mine both ways.
Oh yeah Doug I also do them on the foreman grill sometimes. I will cook my meat and leave the char from it on the grill then put the asparagus on the grill with a dash of salt and pepper on top of them and close it up for about 5 minutes. I just eyeball it the thicker the better using this method but the smaller ones you just have to roll over if you want a touch of char on each side.
Just for grins since I was looking pretty lean this morning I weighed in and I am 204.8, weight finally going back down a little but man I am DEFINITELY leaner. I can not wait to see how this ends up I am going to big so much bigger than my last show it is unreal!
Taking my daughter to her first Ballet class today and will be heading to the gym shortly after. This was her on Thursday before her first day of Jazz or dance of any kind. You can tell she is extremely excited!
