I am sorry for your family's loss. It's sad how sometimes it takes a death to actually get families to come together. The busy schedules of our lives seem to make getting away impossible until something happens. Hope you have safe travels and can focus on the good times while there.

Ugh!! Managed to hurt my back again! Lower thoracic area like I did a few years back. Was just warming up on Deads and felt it on rep #3. Stopped Deads and stretched/rolled immediately! Took a muscle relaxer and iced it post workout! Sure hope I caught it before hurting it as bad as before! It doesn’t feel good, that’s for sure! ??*♀️

Dang it! You're younger than me. I just turned 41 last week. I don't care to be in my 20s again so much as I just wish my hair was like it was in my 20s! Losing it one place, growing it another where it didn't before and it's turning gray. SMH! I used to say that if I started to go bald, I'd just shave my head and be bald. Now that I'm at that point, it's a different story. Lol!

I always promised myself I would NEVER have a comb over. I just think they are the epitome of insecurity when it comes to making people do things that make things worse... The day I shaved my head was the day that I was in the mirror fixing my hair, I had that old ceaser cut where it was short and everything pulled forward. I notices I was "guiding" some of the hair over a thin sport in the center of my hairline and suddenly realized. HOLY CRAP, this is how it begins!!! I immediately rinsed the product out of it and took the clippers to it. I have felt more confident and less worried about something so inconsequential since I took control of the situation. It is well worth it if the thinning actually bothers you that much.

Now if you have a melon shaped like Sloth's from the Goonies then maybe you should hold on to your hair as long as possible...

Feel better Kat! Hopefully you caught it in time. You might try adding in some KB Swings in your pre Dead warm ups to help warm up and activate all of the muscles needed for the lift.

LMBO! My problem is that when I cut my hair too short on the sides I look like I have Ross Perot ears. Shaving it completely bald would probably be even worse. Lol!

I have huge ears, like satellite dishes... I also happen to have a huge head so it kind of works out.

It is going to look eird to you regardless when or if you do shave. However if you already notice your ears with hair, once you get used to it shaved you won't notice them any more than you do now. Of course at first they will stand out more to you. Especially since it is already an issue you are going to be looking for. However within a week or two it will be fine.

I do recommend a full week trimmed down to a 1 guard to allow some sun to get to your scalp before shaving. That way you don't look like you are wearing a white helmet on your head from the tan line.

I’ve been using a nice hard medicine ball to roll at the end of my workouts which seems to be helping too! The muscles around my hips and glutes stay ridiculously tight these days!

Ran across this while looking for things to help with my hip issues. It’s has guides for releasing lockup’s, stretching, and strengthening the areas around your hips for good posture. Focused on hips that are torqued/rotated but I figured it was a good share... Invalid Link Removed

Good info there. I skimmed it, but will have to read over it again. My right hip is always a bit of a problem. Will have to try some of this.
 
Happy Monday! Started a new workout today. Similar to some I’ve done before. High density workout in order to burn a decent amount of calories in the short training times now that school is back.

Goal for the first 2 circuits was 15 mins each & 10-12 on #3. Sadly it only left me with 8 mins for the last circuit due to having to set things up. But I was absolutely drenched when I left! Sweat was literally dripping off my face! Lol
