Son was up through the night Wednesday night and I was home with him yesterday so no gym time yesterday. I was able to get up early and go this morning though! I kinda doubled the load. Wanted to do both full workouts but no time for the conditioning part. According to my heart rate and the amount of sweat on my body, I’d say the workout was conditioning enough! Lol
Warmed up 10ish mins with jump rope, band pullaparts/over & backs, plate raises/rotations, and a few sets of OHP.
Giant set 1-using Rep Goal System for lifts - Rep Goal is 25 reps in 3 sets.
Pull Ups xRGS > 9,8,8
OHP xRGS > 75x9,8,8 (10lbs up from last time)

Son’s phone was stolen out of his backpack today at school. We got him one when we moved due to us working so far away and him being home after school. Kid was smart enough to turn off location services somehow so I couldn’t track the phone. I have suspended services, changed passwords, and everything else I can think to do. Insurance claim will cost more than the phone is worth but that’s looking like our only option. Just frustrating! Poor kid has struggled with making good friends at the new school. He is Mr. Outgoing too so it’s very surprising. Kids are just mean....so between all of that and some other stresses I’m really wanting a large margarita but I’m resisting so far! Lol

I got picked on a lot in school because I was short and fat in 5th grade my teacher took me off to the side one day and said, I see the other boys picking on you, do you realize how much stronger you are than them so them how strong you are and they will leave you alone. The next week I layed 3 of them out and never got picked on again (I'm not sure that's what he intended, but it worked)
It's time for martial arts classes for him.

What is fighting dirty? We are in combat, anything I can use to cause you pain or disable you is open game.
I had a buddy say he fought dirty, he said "If I am losing a fight I will kick someone in the nuts! I fight dirty!"
I responded with "I don't have to be losing, I would bite your crap off just because it was close enough to do so and I want to hurt you as bad as possible..." That's what defending yourself is about. Disable the other person so they can not cause you harm... that is the goal them being disabled...

My son got bullied at school. Talking to the teachers and parents of the bullies was not of great help. We talked to the parents of his best friend and decided to take both kids out of that school and into another one. It worked perfectly, this way they kept together and are still friends today.
