It's not hurting anymore. The clot is still there. Maybe slightly smaller. The dr's visit went well. He said I most definitely need to get the ablation in both great saphenous veins to take away the source of the regular pain I experience with them. They place a small laser inside the vein around my knee and zap it causing it to collapse. Each leg would be done on different days but there's not really any downtime. Just have to lighter for 2-3 weeks afterwards but I'd be able to return to work the next day. All we are facing now is the insurance. There is a contract exclusion meaning they won't cover any vein issues on our plan, however, they are going to file anyways. We are just praying the insurance decides to cover it! Otherwise it's $5,000. Thanks for asking!![]()
You should be able to fight it as its a medical condition. Its not really a vein issue, more of a circulatory issue.
