Kat and Puccah's Strong is the new sexy log

It's not hurting anymore. The clot is still there. Maybe slightly smaller. The dr's visit went well. He said I most definitely need to get the ablation in both great saphenous veins to take away the source of the regular pain I experience with them. They place a small laser inside the vein around my knee and zap it causing it to collapse. Each leg would be done on different days but there's not really any downtime. Just have to lighter for 2-3 weeks afterwards but I'd be able to return to work the next day. All we are facing now is the insurance. There is a contract exclusion meaning they won't cover any vein issues on our plan, however, they are going to file anyways. We are just praying the insurance decides to cover it! Otherwise it's $5,000. Thanks for asking!

You should be able to fight it as its a medical condition. Its not really a vein issue, more of a circulatory issue.
 
Yes agreed, if they concentrate on the pain it is causing you they can get it pushed through. It is not a cosmetic procedure in your situation. Great work by the way!!!!!
 
Thanks everyone! They should cover it if we fight but I'm hoping we won't even have to go that far. It is definitely medically necessary. The insurance companies just like to put clauses in place saying they won't cover regardless of if its medically necessary or not. Silly!

I met an IFBB pro tonight and he asked if I compete. Lol, I smiled and said, "no." Then he said, "You know what you got? Great genetics! Continue to love your body and train hard. I want to see you on that stage! God Bless and be happy, enjoy life!!" ️ I told him thank you for the motivation, I needed it tonight! ?

Went back to the gym at started at to do some stuff for my brother. It feels so freaking weird being here and it's crowded as heck!
 
Awe that Sucks Puccah. It's extremely crowded at ours right now too. You can't even walk a step without bumping into someone.

The blended protein makes a big difference in taste though. Now that I'm not with Hi-tech, I'll buy some PES once I run out of the 5 tubs I have of Isomorph. Haha

Yay for Friday! Kids are out of school today so I got to sleep in until 8:30. Finally feel like I got enough sleep. I am on a dedicated thyroid medicine now and I ran out about 2 weeks ago. It is being mailed to me but it hasn't made it yet. Not sure if they lost it or what. It's been stuck in the same place for 2 weeks now. Anyways, I have been having trouble sleeping due to my levels being off again. Not to mention getting to bed after 11 every night.

Went into the gym at 9:30 to train and then to the kids and my daughter's friend shopping before getting started on my cakes again. (Almost done- just need the mom to bring the toppers)

Here's my workout for the day! Last week I didn't start off strong on Sunday so my week was a bit jacked up.

I'm back to doing tons of cardio because I need it. I'm doing slow cardio to keep my gains. If I go crazy again, my legs will be gone. Darn genetics!

A guy came up to me and said that I won't get to the top of the mountain if I go slow. I told him that people think I'm insane for going so slow but I know my body. All my gains will be gone.

What works for one person may not work for another person. Can I just live?!?
