Kat and Puccah's Strong is the new sexy log

Sometimes it can be brought on (triggered) spontaneously like that. I'm like that with my son blowing bubbles in his milk. I used to do it as a child and he's done it for a while, but all of a sudden a few weeks ago the sound started to seriously irk me.

Awwww, do you tell him to stop it?

Even right now, my teeth is tingling and he finished eating hours ago.

10.4 lbs down but I'm still a big girl. I love/hate you, cardio! Sometimes you have to go back to what worked for you, sometimes you have to go back to the beginning and do it all over again. :) it's not considered failure, just detours.

puccah8808 what type of cardio do you mostly do? I was really bored of cardio until I discovered barbell complexes and the prowler

I use to do bb complexes and the prowler but I got bored with those. I'm back on the stairs for an hour a day. I don't go super fast because I'll lose my gains in my legs. I also incorporate a lot of leg raises and other stuff while dying on the machine.

I don't feel like I really get a workout when I do hiit, tabata, or bb complexes. I want something that will destroy me for longer than 10-15 mins. :D
 
May I suggest the boxer's workout? Jump rope, speedbag, heavy bag, ab work (caterpillars) and shadow boxing. An hour of that will launch your heart rate into orbit!

Personally my cardio has to be GPP/strength related or I just get really tired of it. I need that intensity. I love throwing 3-400# on a prowler for a few laps, then stripping it down to 150# or so for multiple sets of all out sprints. Usually leaves me gasping on the ground for a while.

Kleen, his horrible eating habit makes me cringe! I read up on it and it's a phobia. The slurping, the open mouth, and the smacking makes me cringe and my skin crawl.

Auditory sensory processing disorders (I use the term disorder loosely) can cause you to be like that. I hate (like makes my skin crawl) certain sounds. Just like I hate the way certain things feel on my skin. It's all based on sensory processing. I get how you feel though. I can't stand it when someone near me eat like either.
I am the same way with gritty things, eating liver, peas, lima beans anything that texture is a big hell no for me. My mother hated when I smacked my lips and ingrained that into me so I know where mine came from. I was conditioned to share her hatred for it. Other things I can't stand is the feel of grit in the bottom of a sink when you are washing dishes and reach down for the silverware. Kind of weird but if my nails go across that it gives me the heeby-jeebies!

Excellent suggestion! I used to do a lot of full body heavy bag work, punches & kicks for rounds, bag throws, scoops and slams, lots of foot work, those were always fun. I need to reinforce my garage to put the heavy bag back up though. It was shaking the entire garage so bad by the last time I used it I decided to take it down until I reinforced it with a few more support boards.

Yes, it is crazy. My sister had all porcelain veneers put on her teeth at 35 for the same reason. They are wayyy too expensive though.

I know the scale means nothing but I'm down 2 more lbs. It's a great motivation to keep pushing forward. Back to the old drawing board with a few new things and I'm finally getting results. :D

Katness I have had this going on now for around 5 plus months. IDk if it's the weight loss or what, but I'll bend over to pick something up or even getting out of my truck to walk and boom I feel faint for a few seconds. Then it goes away. I hope everything is ok!! My son should be starting soccer soon as well!! Awesome leg workout btw.

It means something when you see results lol. I know I'm hard on myself and need to focus more on measurements and mirror then the dreaded scale!! But awesome job sweetie.

Thank you! Definitely check your BP...I think I will be breaking down and getting checked out! Mostly for the headaches! They are getting quite old! I love watching the kids soccer!! So fun!
