I fcuked up... As the queen of procrastination, I didn't practice for my aptitude test tomorrow. Now I have to wake up early and try to climb a 6 ft. fence. I tried it a bit tonight but didn't have a good fence to climb. Also, I have to find a good pair of shoes that has good grip and I can run with. Fingers cross that my fitness journey this far will somehow help me...

I got to the gym late, was gonna say f it but I decided to drag my a^* to my home gym (tired of being harassed). You can do a lot in 45 mins - 1 hour.

Finished my session with sprinting. I figured a 500 yard run is about a 2 min run, so as long as I can run for 2 min non-stop I'll be fine.

I really want to focus on my problem areas and that's pretty much my upper body. I hold all my fat in my tummy, arms, back, and face.

I need to come work out with you and publicly embarrass some of these fools that talk to you the way they do! Maybe just talk to them the way they do you all up close and personal like. See if they like it when a man comes at them all aggressive like he wants to get it in with them.

Lol, thank you, Kleen. Sometimes I wish I had a swolemate who could get rid of the a**holes for me. Maybe I come off as too friendly so they assume that they can say whatever to me. I've changed too many gyms because of them. Sometimes I do think that chivalry is dead but I have great friends who always prove me wrong. :)

I swear the things I encounter at the gym are so outrageous, nobody believes me.

A guy comes up to me.
Guy: Are those lifting shoes?
Me: Yes (My adidas PL shoes).
Guy: Why do you wear them?
Me: Oh, nothing, just for fun.
(I'm standing at the power rack)
Smiles and walks away.
20 mins later.
Guy: See, I knew you didn't come here to play around.
Me: yah..

Old man from the other day.
I'm stripping off the bar and he decides to help me, then he just stands there and waits for me.
Guy: Oh your belt, that's nice for slapping your ass.
Me: Ahhhhhhh, I have to hurry and go, I have a dinner date.
Guy: Waits, waits, waits for me. You're slow, come on!
In my head: No, I'm waiting for your a** to leave.

Puccah, you need a good male friend to accompany you to the gym from now on. That's ridiculous. I've only been hit on one time in the gym & that's because hubby wasn't with me. However, I'm good at being a b1tch if I need to be & I'll tell someone to fukc off pretty quick if I feel uncomfortable.

There are a couple women that regularly come in with their hubbies. Whenever they come in without, the other regularly attending males pounce. It's ridiculous.

Thank you, everyone! It gets a bit frustrating and makes me anxious. I try to avoid eye contact with everyone at the gym but nope, some people always find a way to saying something stupid. I'm going to go back to my other gym where NOBODY talks to me.
I've been treated like crap for being a woman at the gym and I know that if I did have a man with me, some of these a**holes would not say half the sh*t they say to me.
"You need to hurry up with the power rack, you're messing up my routine."
"Why would you do rack pulls with deads? Those two don't go together!"
*Throws medicine ball at me in order to get my attention.*
"Tells me I should go home with him so I can cook and fold his laundry." (A fcukin' stranger).
Bothers me at the squat rack til I move to the power rack then I watch was him do 55lb curls for 5 mins and leaves...

Random people with no gym etiquette or respect over the years.

Lol, this guy is on his 4th wife. His 3rd wife was younger than me and I think he's older than my dad.
 
That's kind of creepy...! My 2nd was 8 years younger and sometimes that felt awkward, around her friends.
 
I meant branch/chain so i can further mold my stereotypes of chain gyms. I live in NC so I doubt that'll happen.

California family fitness. When I first started, everyone stared at me like I didn't belong there. It's like a snooty gym. I don't blame the gym, I blame some of their members. The staff and 95% of the members leave me alone. It's a lot better than 24 hour fitness, too.

You should capitalize on the opportunity to be a smartass with them. or just get super weird. That's usually one of two directions I go when people get sassy
