It Is Here- AN's Write-Up for 2009's Biggest Product!!!!!!

So, over the 12 weeks after your cycle your likely to lose almost 50%??! or did i read you totally wrong? (very possible i did) cause that would be kinda depressing! basically you'll be dropping muscle and losing strength for 12 weeks after!

How many 280lb guys do you see on this board? if it was that easy to just do cycles, then everyone would be enormous mass monsters wallowing the globe like jay cutler :D 6-8lbs lean maintained "permanently" from a cycle is not a bad thing at all. 5 cycles of that would put you into heavyweight for IFBB....

Yes people dont' really understand what it's like to keep 6-8lbs of lean muscle. if you did 3 cycles you'd be 18-24lbs heavier. You know what i always tell people who dont' think 5lbs is that much. go buy 5lbs of raw steak and picture that being added to your body it's an eye opener

It is hard to get over the 280 mark for sure...the largest I have ever been was 287lbs. Still hovering around the 270-275 mark though.

Cheers!

I dont have any desire to be that big. 190-200 @ 8-10% bf would be great for my goals

I would be thrilled to be 180 - 185 at 5%-6% bf!

I can mass up pretty easy but once I hit 10%bf fat loss almost seems to stop. :(

thank you. finally someone in touch with reality. i look over people's profiles and they did this cycle and that and that and that and a gazillion supplements and they are the same size as 3 years ago. with some phs people actually keep very little. get people to admit though. they won't.

i agree with you on this one. When your 5'10 285 or even 6'3 285, you aint got **** for athleticism when it comes to soccer or jiu-jitsu. youd basically be a lineman for the nfl and thats a shi**y position imo. i would love to be about 170-180 max. but im a short mo-fo so being 280 would be insane. i wouldnt beable to scratch my own ass at that weight. (lineman do weigh more i know) dont take me literally though

you are correct, sir. every pound counts. of course, it's what you keep that counts. for me, erg 1-ad made me FAT. I gained 20lbs in four weeks. how much was muscle? Probably less than half. If I could keep 8lbs from The One then that would rock. And you're right, as safe as this sounds, and if I don't run any other anabolic, I could run it 3 times and year. could i gain and keep 20lbs this year? could I? that would be awesome.

I dont have any desire to be that big. 190-200 @ 8-10% bf would be great for my goals

I hear that, I'm 5'9.5" and have been training hard for about 5 years (I'm 24 now). Unfortunately, I've also been working like a maniac in NYC with a very healthy but generally way-too-small diet (i.e. not nearly enough cals for serious growth) and very little sleep. Despite this, I've managed to bulk from my natural tiny self of 148 lbs to 165-170 lbs and I've always maintained 7-8% bodyfat (I'm a super hargainer ecto)... but I'd like to be quite a bit bigger.

My goal is to get to 200-210 with the same or lower bodyfat but I am starting to feel that I"m at my genetic plateau now, or at least close. I've finally improved my sleep and my diet is getting better but it's hard to make steady progress even strength-wise at this point. My joints are giving out before my muscles (I have pretty solid lifts for a little guy, 300+ on bench, squat, and deadlift). It feels like no matter how hard I train I am basically just maintaining what I have now, with the occasional tiny improvement on one lift or another.

I'm interested in The One because going from 168 lbs (my current weight) to a solid 175 or 180 lbs would make a big difference. However, I am concerned about the side effects. I worry that putting my body through it's first experience with a PH may not be worth it until I've gotten bigger naturally, despite my difficulties to date.

Do you of you more veteran guys, especially AN guys who have experience w/The One, have any thoughts on my situation? I'm a huge fan of your other products (just finished IGF-2 and am running Drive/NeoVar/RPM stack now, an about to order your basic supps), which is the only reason I'd ever even consider The One as I've bene "au natural" all this time.

The critical thing to keep in mind is that the gains won't come without calories. So if you aren't able to eat enough to gain anything now (fat included) then taking any hormonal product won't likely help too much. Thats where the strength of hormonal products comes in - it allows you to take in an amount of calories that would normally cause you fat gain but instead allow you to get lean mass gain.

No man, I am very aware of how much that is. I actually use your steak comparison when explaining to my friends. I Have no P/H experience however. It sounded like if you put say 10 pound on, then in first six weeks after you keep maybe 70%. So your now on 7 pound(I'd be over moon with that) But then rms was saying you lose maybe the same amount again in the 6-12 week period after cycle, in which case your left not much at all. that was how i read his post. I was pretty sure I misenterpreted, and was more looking for some clariffication. Believe me, If i got 3-4 kilo of LBM(thats roughly 8-10 pound) that I kept, i would be doing cart wheels:D I am well aware that is a great amount. Actually its all Im after to "finish off" my physique.

PS...I HATE that I struggle to put in written words what Im thinking or wondering, then I come off looking like a gym newb, or just plain ignorant:frustrate It frustrates me because I am neither. However my Forum skills could well use some polishing. My point is yes, guys, I realize 6-8 pounds of muscle, kept, from any supp is fantastic:D

But then rms was saying you lose maybe the same amount again in the 6-12 week period after cycle

if you keep all variables constant- with proper PCT, rest, training, etc. you may keep roughly 70-80% after the first 6 weeks of post cycle, and then 60-70% over the next 6 weeks (up to week 12)....those are pretty reasonable numbers from data I have seen

I think you are wrong, he was talking about from total gains, not from week 6. so the 20lb gain @ start of pct yeilds 14-16 @ week 6, and an end of 12-14 at week 12. I use 20lbs cause the math is easier :D

I dont have any desire to be that big. 190-200 @ 8-10% bf would be great for my goals

To be my size is not exactly fun....its expensive as hell. Its hard to buy clothes that fit me. Especially pants...I have to stop training legs now because I can't afford to buy all new pants. Seriously...my legs are too damn thick...I had to buy some pants for work that was a 6 size difference in the waist than what my waist size actually is just to fit my legs properly...I like to be able to move around freely and my job requires a lot of physical activity and movement so hence the purchase.

Its all cool deadlifting and squatting 550lbs+, but damn unless you have the money to afford the clothes...its not all its cracked up to be being a massive monster.

cheers!

Somehow I don't think you'll be getting a lot of sympathy here ;)

Thanks mate :D Glad to be wrong, suspected I was. Im still hoping a helpful AN can get it too me down here in Aus. cheers for the clariffication!:nana:

We all take risks if we pursue 'chemical' assistance in our training. I suppose you just need to weigh up the likely pros and cons.

i am specifically aware of the risks involved with oral anabolics
but my ? was
i know that 17-alpha alkylated orals really mess with yer good and bad cholesterol
how this "one" going to differ, or dose it directly effect them?

does this product just convert to plain 100% DHT? what are the effects on hairline and is there anything you can use to reduce it but more importantly and what i'd worry about how does it effect your prostate?

We're not sure. I know that a bit of the effect of messing with cholesterol comes from reducing estrogen levels (from reducing testosterone levels) so The ONE should be mellow in that regards, but i didn't have good blood tests to show that. I believe some blood tests should be available soon.

What we saw was no effect on hairlines at all. Its a little hard to tell for sure how much of the activity comes from conversion, and how much is intrinsic, sort of like with M1,4add or even Halodrol. There is also some evidence that DHT in and of itself isn't the culprit in hair loss alone, that its the activity of conversion of testosterone to DHT that is. As far as prostate, none of us took support supplements like Cycle Support on cycle, and none of us noticed any prostate issues. I can't say that is proof it doesn't affect it, but we haven't seen noticeable effect so far.

Launch Update

Hey All,

I want to give you an update on the launch:

One of the reagents used in the manufacturing process of The One failed QC, so we needed to order new. The new batch was pre-tested before shipping and is in transit now.

The good news: :) We 100% guarantee The One will be the best, strongest and highest quality PH money can buy at any price.

The bad news: :( It will take 1-2 weeks longer than originally projected. Our new target launch date is now February 25th, and barring some cosmic or biblical event, we're very confident in that date.

As it goes with most things in life, those things that are worth having are worth the wait.

Thanks for your ongoing support!

Is that a money back guarantee? That is exciting to hear you are all that confident in this product. I still have my doubts but we shall see, we shall see...

It is 95% due to basketball- I play 2 hours every morning, LOL. The average weight trainer, with proper PCT, will keep 70-85% of their gains. I am a special circumstance- I don't really train like the average person- MWF I run through track drills and work on sprint technique and agility- then play basketball. T and TH I lift weights, do bag work and core work, and then play basketball- couple that with a busy work schedule, I have a very, very hard time eating enough calories....

I train for speed, strength, and endurance- unfortunately- it is like telling your body to do 3 separate things :) If I wanted to keep the weight on, I would just cut back on the endurance part- it is all about fiber-specific training....

Very true! Are you training for anything specifically Dirk, or is that just your preference for training?

If you are prone to MPB- you really can't use any type of PH or AAS w/o repurcussions- with the exception of nandrolone, b/c it converts to DHN. Doesn't matter what you take- DHT analogs, test, anything you can think of that is not nandrolone, converts to DHT by the time it reaches the scalp, at least to some extent. The number of DHT receptors in the scalp is genetically predetermined- so if you are prone to MPB, and use AAS or PH, you may speed things up quite a bit. The One isn't worse than anything else out there in terms of shedding- in fact, no shedding was reported by any of the testers.

I guess your next question would be "Can I just use a DHT blocker?" Not a good idea- you can pretty much kiss a lot of the strength and performance gains from your cycle goodbye- DHT is the dominant androgen in the CNS- testosterone is actually a prohormone to DHT in the CNS, and by blocking it, you block the mechanism that is in part for muscle firing and recruitment.

As for the prostate- no worries- the latest studies to come out point to DHT actually being safer than testosterone for TRT, b/c many of the deleterious effects on the prostate previously attributed to DHT are actually from aromatization of testosterone to estrogen- take a look:J Clin Endocrinol Metab. 2002 Apr;87(4):1467-72.Click here to read Links

The effects of transdermal dihydrotestosterone in the aging male: a prospective, randomized, double blind study.
Kunelius P, Lukkarinen O, Hannuksela ML, Itkonen O, Tapanainen JS.

Division of Urology, Department of Surgery, University of Oulu, FIN-90014 Oulu, Finland.

The objective of the study was to investigate the effects of dihydrotestosterone (DHT) gel on general well-being, sexual function, and the prostate in aging men. A total of 120 men participated in this randomized, placebo-controlled study (60 DHT and 60 placebo). All subjects had nocturnal penile tumescence once per week or less, andropause symptoms, and a serum T level of 15 nmol/liter or less and/or a serum SHBG level greater than 30 nmol/liter. The mean age was 58 yr (range, 50-70 yr). Of these subjects, 114 men completed the study. DHT was administered transdermally for 6 months, and the dose varied from 125-250 mg/d. General well-being symptoms and sexual function were evaluated using a questionnaire, and prostate symptoms were evaluated using the International Prostate Symptoms Score, transrectal ultrasonography, and assay of serum prostate-specific antigen. Early morning erections improved transiently in the DHT group at 3 months of treatment (P < 0.003), and the ability to maintain erection improved in the DHT group compared with the placebo group (P < 0.04). No significant changes were observed in general well-being between the placebo and the DHT group. Serum concentrations of LH, FSH, E2, T, and SHBG decreased significantly during DHT treatment. Treatment with DHT did not affect liver function or the lipid profile. Hemoglobin concentrations increased from 146.0 +/- 8.2 to 154.8 +/- 11.4 g/liter, and hematocrit from 43.5 +/- 2.5% to 45.8 +/- 3.4% (P < 0.001). Prostate weight and prostate-specific antigen levels did not change during the treatment. No major adverse events were observed. Transdermal administration of DHT improves sexual function and may be a useful alternative for androgen replacement. As estrogens are thought to play a role in the pathogenesis of prostate hyperplasia, DHT may be beneficial, compared with aromatizing androgens, in the treatment of aging men.

What if you just use a topical DHT blocker and not an oral? For example alzaic acid @ 5% and minoxidil?

Would this still negate The One and make it essentially useless?

azelaic acid + 5% minox + spironolactone is the best topical combo to keep your hair.

Obviously, adding Finasteride would be better, and IMO, Finasteride don't make The ONE useless: Finasteride works blocking 5a-reduction of Testosterone to DHT, but The ONE is already 5a-reduced, so Finasteride do nothing with it.

Their is a company here that does blood/lab works relatively cheaply. If/when I get my hands on The One, I plan on incorporating bloodwork in the log, before, after, and perhaps during if the lab work is cheap enough.

Just shave it bald like I do, then no worries, except for beating the girlies off of ya!! ;-)

Can a rep from the company confirm that Finasteride wont negate the effects of THE ONE?

We have not had anyone who is using The ONE also use Finasteride at the same time, so we can't be 100% positive, however since Finasteride inhibits the 5a reductase stopping the conversion of testosterone to DHT i don't see where it would have effect on The ONE.

Can a rep from the company confirm that Finasteride wont negate the effects of THE ONE?

I can say it probably will have at least some negative effects- Finasteride is a DHT-blocker- all-around no-go for performance in general- DHT is the dominant androgen in the CNS- it is necessary for fiber recruitment, strength, speed, etc.....I have seen quite a few guys f-up their cycles b/c they ran a propecia/proscar along with it- you just won't get the same results.....

i am specifically aware of the risks involved with oral anabolics
but my ? was
i know that 17-alpha alkylated orals really mess with yer good and bad cholesterol
how this "one" going to differ, or dose it directly effect them?

all AAS/PHs mess with HDL/LDL because they all effect SHBG to varying extents (by lowering it)- by lowering SHBG, you increase the amount of circulating cholesterol in the bloodstream- SHBG normally binds cholesterol and allows it to be excreted......

Very true! Are you training for anything specifically Dirk, or is that just your preference for training?

Cheers!

I hate jogging and distance running, LOL- I can run 10-15 miles at a time if I wanted to- but I would get really bored in the process- I like to work on general athleticism-type stuff (speed, agility, elastic strength) b/c it is a lot more fun than just weight training- and I am almost 33 and can still run around a 10.5 sec. 100m- I just love pushing myself :)

Cant get it in Australia and all I can say bout that is:gay:

Don't worry mate; I know how you feel. Customs has suddenly started being a b*tch about my packages and deciding to confiscate everything (yes, even when there's nothing wrong). GRRRRR...

Serious? Surely you have a legal recourse if they are taking things that are not illegal? They cant just confiscate willy nilly. Or is it not worth the trouble? So frustrating isnt it! :censored:
After 10 years in gym, I feel I have paid my dues and just want those last few kilo's you just cant get as a natural. I really thought i'd be able to get this "the one" somehow, now i have to go the injectable route....which I really didnt wanna do.

I can't be bothered (they're stopping 95% of everything I get in now); they make weak excuses, like I need doctor's prescriptions (and to pay for a doctor's visit, when most of the time they say "I don't know enough about the product to verify it and say it's safe" is a waste of time and money), etc. (since while it is safe, there are so many ingredients that NZ considers 'prescription medicines').

Yeah, well, I'd like to lose the rest of the fat (try NOT to let myself get fat while I can't train; GRRRR).

LOL. ALL of my avatars are of ME (as I have said to everyone who has ever asked). And everyone else has a different definition of "fat" than what I do, and certainly when it pertains to me (I'm nowhere near as LEAN as I want to be at any rate).

Yeah, Customs aren't great, but these things happen (sigh).

Na, i know there you, i just mean i havent been on board all that long. I know what you mean. Fat is relative. Second I cant see my abs Im Like F**K it! im getting fat :D

I'm the same! If my abs start to disappear I freak out!

Well if you know what your doing...you should never worry about it too much. Honestly...even when I get my chunkiest I can still cut back down rather quickly while maintaining decent fullness and muscle mass. I always plan for 8 weeks so as not to set myself up for failure (if you place an unrealistic timeline on yourself you pretty much mind F*ck yourself out of achieving what you want).

However...I am not saying to let yourself go...you have to know your body and when it is time to kick your ass into gear to get rid of that extra chunk.

Cheers!

Cheers to ya Bossman! ;)
