Day 12

Had a pretty good workout this morning, but I had to skip cardio because I was running late for class.

My bench went up a rep. SLDL stayed about the same. My new A2 routine is...

Flat BB Bench Press
SLDL
CG Bench Press
Alternating DB Curls
Standing Calf Raise

...so as you can see, the only thing I really changed were my arm exercises.

Got all my hair chopped off today. It feel great.

I forgot to mention to you guys that I will be trading out one of my normal cardio days, probably Tuesday, for another HIIT day. I'd like to see how fat loss goes doing that.

So, my cardio schedule will be Tue/Thur/Sun; HIIT/Mod-intensity/HIIT
 
I remember you saying that you were using Cla in your supp regiment. How many grams a day are you using?

Missing the workout is part of the recovery! It reminds you how much you enjoy it, and why you do it, and makes your first day back an amazing one. I say again, enjoy the rest!

Day 13

Just got in a great HIIT session. Very intense. Had a great sweat built up. Did 12 intervals on the spin bike of 30secs on / 60secs off.

For some reason, probably all the Leucine I've been sipping on, I look a little bloated. I'll take progress pics tomorrow morning before breakfast.

I think I may load up on a few more (40-50g) carbohydrates tomorrow morning. It's a heavy squat day, so I'd like to have HIGH energy and glycogen levels. Last heavy squat day was dissapointing, and I don't want this one to be the same. - That will put my morning meal at about 100g of carbs. I'll let the body digest for an hour and hit the gym after that.

do what i do bro..just take a normal hair trimmer and put it on the lowest setting and trim it against the hair...

cause i get ingrown hairs if i shave...so this is my next best option. i could always WAX! ahhh ouchh.
 
No shaving or trimming of the chest hair will be taking place. I've done it. Used to do it regularly. Used to shave my legs and arms. All of it.

I'm done with that. I have no reason to shave. It takes too much time. I don't like doing it. It grows back too fast. I get irritated skin. It's just a complete pain.

I shave my armpits, and my junk. That's it.

junk shaving is backed. hard. (no homo)

i use the trimmer for everything. i use the lowest setting on my chest, but i use the mid to high setting on my arms and legs. im italian and mexican, so the hair gene is not in my favor.

oh and lookin good man. you look thick AND wide. just how i like my women haha just messin
 
Week 2 Picture Updates

Here's a few pics I just took. I ate breakfast about 30 mins ago, and had an extra 30g of carbs since it's heavy squat day. Puts my carb intake at about 110g in Meal 1. That's the bulk of my carb intake. I'll probably get in another 80-90g throughout the day.

First two pics are relaxed. One is tightened, and obviously the back pictures are relaxed.

Leg pics upon request but I really don't think anything has changed with the wheels.

Day 14

Had a pretty good B1 workout. Doubled my reps on squats from last week. 315x6. Still not my greatest performance, but not bad. I think my legs are still recovering.

Everything else was pretty much on par. Had a great pump going and, as usual, incredible endurance.

Did twenty minutes on the stairstepper @ level 13 for my cardio.

Talked to a gym-buddy I always see around town about working in the field of Pararescue or Combat Control. He's going to take me on base to meet some people, and hopefully I get the warm and fuzzies. He's a trainer for the new SF guys, so he's going to set me up with a training program for the stuff I need to work on. Mostly swimming, sprints, calisthenics, etc. - This guy is a complete freak of nature in terms of holding his weight. The guy lifts MAYBE once a week, and does cardio every day and he's still a freaking beast. It's insane. He said he thinks it's mainly because he lifted so hard and heavy from when he was 16-27, at which point his muscles began maturing, and he somehow holds on to his size now. It's seriously incredible. I'm jealous.

My take on muscle maturation is when they have been worked for a long time there is no turning back for them really. If you dont have a lot of muscle and they start to mature - you are stuck there until you start adding more weight...

Ya.

I just hope I have a lot of size, at least where I'm at now, before they start maturing.

I know that if I join the AF for Pararescue I will lose a lot in the beginning. Hopefully I will have enough time to build it back.
 
***Just a little note...

Something has been changing my love-handles over the last week. I feel like they're getting zapped. I don't see how it could possibly be the HIIT since I've only done two sessions, but something is changing it. They don't seem as pudgy.
 
It has been real hard controlling my appetite over the last few days. As I've mentioned, it's getting higher and higher every day. It's not as bad as when I was taking in real low calories a couple months ago, but it's close. It really picks up after 4pm.

I wish I was bulking :(

Thanks, bro. I'm definitely happy with how things have been going. It's been an enjoyable ride. Definitely one of my happiest accomplishments. I'm glad I cought it when I did. Once I had a hard time getting on jeans that were a size 36, I through my hands up and said, "Done!" - Thus, the cut began.

I really appreciate your support along with everyone elses. I know I could not have done as well without you guys.
