So IC, you hitting the gym today or letting the back rest up some more??

Just got back, actually. I did a full body cruise day, FT. I did three warmup sets and two 4-rep sets at max weight. I think the order was...

Prone Leg Curl
DB Lunges
Flat Bench BB Press
W-Bar Pressdown
DB Hammer Curls
Atlantis Later Raises
HS Low-row (went light here)
Seated Calf Raise
...then I finished it out with a few pump-sets on leg extensions and donkey calf raise.

I'll probably start doing some variation of a full-body workout pretty soon. I'm going to have to ditch DC/IC for a little while. I'd like to focus more on weight loss and recomposition at this point. I'll be adding in plyo exercises as well as agility drills.

Really starting to feel the IGF-2. Muscle endurance is real good. Max rest between sets was about 45 seconds with no loss in strength from the previous set.
 
Here was the schedule this morning...

9am - Wake up
9:15am - 1.5sc Smash Fully Loaded, 200mg (2 caps) Coleus, 5x IGF-2, 4g Creatine Mono (in addition to what's in SFL), 1.2g Taurine, 3g ALCAR
9:30am - Left for gym
~9:45am - Start lifting
11am - Left gym
11:20am - 2 scoops Whey, 60g steel cut oats

About to slam breakfast once I get it cooked. - Tomorrow is an off day and will be carb-free.

My TD Formestane shipped out today, so I should receive that tomorrow morning. I'll be applying 200mg/day (2 doses of 100mg) for the first week.
 
Shoot man - 6g ALCAR that close together? Best be gettin' in lots of Antioxidants with that much, as your mitochondria were probably going crazy! That stack looks delicious though.

I've taken in ~1.5g VitC from supps and I also had a bowl of fruit. Is that good or do I need more?

You might be ok, but it wouldn't hurt to toss in some R-ALA, Green Tea or Res. It's your call, I just prefer to err on the side of caution. I've been doing 3g Carnitine totaly (1.5each of ALCAR and PLCAR) w/500mg VitC, 1 Reverse and a scoop of Greens+ (superfood antiox). I intend to get some KRALA here shortly too.

If that bowl of fruit is still the frozen berries you were doing a while ago, that will definitely help, but 6g is still a lot of ALCAR and probably not entirely negated by the berries.

^^Yup. Sad new indeed :( I stocked up even though I have no desire to run any more PH/DS.

I've never ran any real PH's, but I was tempted to stock up on principle. However, NP doesn't except "on principle" as a form of valid currency.

Well they should :privateeye: I waited too long to buy everything from NP. But I just now ordered 2 P-Plex, 2 E-Stane, and 1 more M-Drol. Probably never use em, but oh well. I hate the thought of not being able to buy them legally.
 
I always hate when they say things on their products like "Converts to (place illegal substance here)" - That's just begging to be put on the banned list.
 
Exactly. there is a fine line between marketing something as "hardcore" and just begging the FDA to snatch it up.
 
What upsets me the most is when they ban my AIs. As much as I hate seeing hormones get banned, it doesn't really bother me nearly as much as seeing things like Formestane and Trione getting banned. Those are GOOD, healthy products that help my hormonal balance and keep away my gyno. When they take those things away from me, the only option I'm left with is surgery, not to mention I no longer have the ability to naturally raise my test levels.

I've never had trouble with AI's that I know of with the exception of 6-bromo. I always taper them which really seems to help, and I usually keep the doses pretty low. Hormones and Test boosters are what give me trouble.

I'll definitely be running T-911 again for my next PCT. That stuff was awesome in PCT just as it is a standalone. I can't wait to try the new F-Drol Black as well.

I have faith in the industry, but I just don't know if they can beat Washington at this point. It's crazy to think that we may soon be begging for the supplements Australia allows and we used to laugh at.

Exactly, which is why unlike most here, I'm not thrilled about the class action suite against Muscletech's Hydroxycut. Rules & regulations tend to see black & white. Supplements are scene for as the industry in whole, rather then each individual company. Thus, if MT gets screwed, chances are, the reprocutions will leak over somehow plague everyone else, a la ephendrine ban, via Cytodine Technologies O.G. Xenadrine.

This isnt directed at you but rather towards people that are less knowlegable.

But I think the problem with AI's/ATD is that some people abuse them (whether it is during PCT or general use) and keep their E surpressed for too long. Then by the time it bounces back (sometimes a month or two later) they are on a cycle or whatnot and they in turn blame the cycle for their gyno. When in reality it is just their E finally rebounding something fierce from prolonged AI usage.

Again, I'm not saying you do this. It's just been a theory of mine for a while that I needed to get off my chest :)

As you know, unfortunate circumstances have forced me to become pretty well versed in the causes of gyno and E problems. I kinda wish I never had to learn this crap :(
 
Just got back from giving a class presentation. It went pretty well. My prof took a few of us out for drinks to celebrate the end of the semester; I just ended up having coffee, but it was fun.

I've got two finals and a project left. The semester officially ends for me at 5pm on Friday, then I've got off for two weeks before the Fall semester starts up.

I absolutely killed my glutes in the gym today. Those lunges really got them good. They're already very DOMSy. I like it. Unfortunately, I don't think my Quads suffered much damage.
 
So I'm getting ready for the CKD thing starting next week (I'm on TKD this week). Just a few quick questions...

1) Should I go no-carb for the week and then do a re-feed over the weekend?

2) Can I have cheese?

3) Do I need to up the caloric intake of my current diet, or can I just cut the carbs out?

Your re feed depends on how you tolerate carbs. Dr. Pasquale puts it like this: Eat carbs until you start to "Flatten/soften out." I usually just ate them from post w/o on Friday evening until Sat night. And I kept fat low during this time.


2) Can I have cheese? I ate it. Dont see a reason why not. Palumbo says no on his diet but for the Metabolic Diet, its cool.

I just cut the carbs out. But I could really care less about total calories, personally

My Formestane just arrived. I'll be dosing 200mg/day for the first 3 days, and then I'll reevaluate after that. If the lump is down, I'll continue that dose, if it's gone, I'll continue that dose for another couple days and then taper from there...If nothing happens, then I don't know.
 
Take a fiber supp and an antioxidant. Thats what I did. And you can eat fruit, just not during the week :)
 
Finally got all caught up here...My internet at home as been taking a major dump and I finally have a moment to breathe at work.

For the CKD I ate a lot of cheese because its high in calories, but low in carbs. I also ate as much spinach as I could handle. My carb up started Friday night and lasted until Sunday morning. That way if I wanted to have an adult beverage on the weekend I didnt feel as bad about it.

As for the AI and PH ban...that stuff really pisses me off. The fact that the Fed Gov can and will mandate stuff like that is completely unconstitutional in my mind. Not to mention that its our tax dollars that are being spent to ban them. Its like we are paying to ban the things that we want/use. Thats just me though, I am one of those libertarian guys that when I am old will hide in the woods with all of my guns and cats and think that the fed is out to get me...(they are).

That gym shooting is messed up. It sounds like the guy did it because his ex-gf is there... I am married now and if my wife left me it would suck, but I wouldnt shoot up an LA fitness because of it...
 
In the News section there is a thread about the shooting. Mullet posted up the dudes "Web Diary" for everyone. He was a total nut job.

And props on libertarianism. I don't agree with everything the party stands for these days, but I do seem to align myself rather closely with the original philosophy left by Thomas Paine and Samuel Adams. :)

Yeah, the shooting is effing ridiculous. As much as I may playfully fantasize about that happening when I watch partial ROM happening on the bench & squat, it's no laughing matter when it really comes to light. There are too many random shootings by off-minded civilians these days, wtf. If a school shooting ever occurs at a Christian private school, then my future kids will have to be like bubble boy on Seinfeld, eff it.

That means taking them every few hours in the abscence of CHO after a refeed can help clear the blood of any remaining glucose; getting you into ketosis faster.
 
Nah, IC and I dont know each other personally. I have a very Irish ancestry and am a huge fan Ireland's rugby team. My sig is actually a song lyric I wrote for a hardcore band I was in and its, I guess, somewhat of my motto.

I am not a knee jerk libertarian, but I definately loathe the federal government and believe in the constitution.

Oh and yes...Resolve is right on with the stim...the first week I was on the CKD i was dizzy as hell and lethargic, caffiene was my saving grace...

That's a good point. I've don't have any BC+EAA on hand right now, but I should get some shortly. Today was the first time I had just water intra-wo in a long time. I definitely felt quite wibbly-wobbly.

I'm actually on TKD right now; I'll be starting CKD next week.
 
Today's Workout

I woke up to my alarm at 8:30am, but couldn't get myself to actually get out of bed until around 9am.

I grabbed all my morning supps from the cabinet and dosed:

1.5sc SFL
5x IFG-2 (really enjoying the endurance-related effects of this stuff)
1 rounded 1/2tsp ALCAR (~2g)
1.2g Taurine
200mg Coleus
3g Creatine Monohydrate

My Mom oddly had a fresh pot of Kenyan coffee brewed, so after I took all of that stuff, I threw back a cup. They were the best Kenyan beans I've ever had. Normally I can't stand that stuff, but these beans were exquisite. Within five minutes I was awake and energized, and within fifteen more I could feel the SFL kicking in, so I got my stuff ready and headed to the gym.

I arrived around 10:05am, and wasn't lifting until maybe 10:15am. - EVERYONE was stealing my equipment today during my Tricep/Chest superset. It was driving me nuts. I had this total, "Who the F do these people think they are?!" look on my face, and this younger (~17) hottie in there caught it and immediately looked down at the floor. lol. Apparently she knew I was pissed.

Everything was supersetted today. Fully body, fasted. :) - 3 warmup sets (10-15rp), 2 heavy load sets (3-7rp).

Squat Press and
HS Shoulder Press

Pec Fly Machine, Flat Bench DB Press, Standing Cable Fly
CG Bench, Rope Pressdown

Seated Cable Row and
Machine Preacher Curl

Light BB Shrugs

Box Jumps (holding 10lb DBs)

So that was that. I felt great at the end and was totally burnt and ready to eat. I slammed 2 scoops of whey and 60g steel cut oats when everything was done. Cooked my breakfast when I got home. It was nice to get carbs in, and now I won't have any until post-workout Friday.

Water was my intra-wo drink today.

That was only because people kept taking my stuff. It actually sucked. Pump was okay I guess, but I was more aggravated than anything else.

This disgusting ogre-kid took my bench as SOON as I stepped off of it. My weights were still freaking on it! I was writing in my log and there he goes. He was so stupid looking. One of those people that pisses you off so bad just because of how they look and you just want to pile-drive them into the floor for being ugly.
 
Box jumps, just curious, how high, how many?

I did a few sets just to feel a nice burn. I didn't really push myself super hard. To give an idea, I probably could have done another ~5 jumps on each set before busting up my shins.

I'll be upping the weight next time. I was basically just trying it out today to see if I enjoyed it. I'll be adding in more plyo stuff as time goes on.
