How to "pulse" orals

If your reply was to me but, I wasn't referring to pulsing h-drol lol. Was just sharing experience from a straight cycle of h-drol I ran, but I wanted anybody to give any instances of wether they've pulsed Epi and had any shedding or hair loss...

Sorry, I misinterpreted your blog. I've done epistane on a pulse cycle 3 x this past year and so far I've been very lucky not to exprience hair loss that's above normal. I think that if your predispositioned fo hair loss, your gonna lose your hair and anabolics can definitely speed that process up. I mean look at guys like Jay Cutler or even Arnold. I'm sure they took their fair of
anabolic but, they never lost their hair.
 
I'm in the 2nd week of a 2 week pulse. I'm going to pulse for 2 weeks, take 2 weeks off and repeat for another 2 cycles. I had been meaning to log but life got in the way.
I'm running cycle assist and feel great. I do have a little knee pain but nothing too bad.
For some background, I'm 6'2" 235#. Been lifting for over 20 years and have done a few regular ph cycles in the past.
I was interested in experimenting & seeing what a pulse could yield. So far strength is up & I've leaned out a bit. I'll check back in over the course of the next few weeks and let yo guys know how I like the pulse but so far no complaints!

I'm getting ready to run a halovar cycle and I was going to run a pulse of SD or EPI 3 days a week not sure yet which would be better as well I'm looking to get some decent gains, but being that I will be running a straight cycle of Halo should I expect more sides if I pulse while on a straight cycle. As far as support supps I'm doing a preload and on cycle of Milk thistle Hawthorne berry,and saw palmetto.
 
I've been thinking about pulsing...think I'm gonna give it a try, but I'm thinking of really doing it up right...

Hormones:
SD 10mg 3x week - 8 week
Phera 10mg 3x week for 2 weeks, then 20mg (old school Ergomax actually..yea, I've been around this awhile)

On Cycle Hormonal support
D-Aspartic Acid - 3g - Off days and into PCT for 2-3 weeks
Bioforge ProMax - 2 caps - Off days and into 1-2 weeks PCT

Cycle Support
Fish and Sesamin oil
CEL Cycle Assist - 4 caps nightly

PCT
Remaining DAA and ProMax
Clomid - 50/50/25/25/25eod until I feel Im good to go
Panthethine (HDL booster)

This would be a bulking cycle, as Im coming off an injury (that I cannot aggravate) and Id expect some serious gains cause I lost a lot of size...

I'm currently running H-drol and pulsing SD 2-3 times a week at 10 mgs. Will up it to 20 soon. Week 2 is amazing pumps and fullness and size. Nuts whither on sD days for sure.

I pulsed the RAGE-V a while back. I got pretty good results even from a very uninformed pulse run. It's an H-drol+S-drol stack with 25mg of H-drol per tab. I took 2 per day onlly on workout days for 6 weeks. This amounted to 2 daily on MON n TUE, off WED, then 2 per day THU-FRI, off weekends.

My advice, even if pulsing, get some good liver support and a good PCT. I didn't and it took me a while to feel "normal".....whatever that is. I really did not know what the hell I was doing and that was before I found this place. But, what I did seemed like a good run and I had crappy liver support and crappy PCT.
 
run the DAA all throughout.
hopefully keeping test production stimulated all through. there may be even increased synergy between endogenous and exogenous androgen using pulsing and DAA

and DAA is now like 12$ so so worries on the cost

eek, i would not advocate anything with such a long half life as hdrol for pulsing.

I know that pulsing with SD 3x a week with DC training is probably one of the best ways to use it but would like to know if it is possible to have good gain with pulse cycle M-drol only 2 × per week?

pulsing from 1 -4x/week has been discussed and it comes down to you. you might respond well to pulsing 2x/week or you might just need to run a proper cycle.

no simple yes or no. obviously the less frequent you pulse the less immediate results you'll get but it doesnt mean you should pulse for 1/3rd longer in total

The next week, I begin my Mdrol pulse cycle 2 × per week at 30 mg during 9 weeks.
In 9 weeks, I will give my results.

9 weeks is far too much, you havent read any of the info on pulsing.

you will probably get a lot of results but i would hate to see your cholesterol, liver function, and test/oest/lh/fsh levels.

put it this way. if a normal SD cycle at ~20mg/day is limited to 3 weeks, max of 4, does it seem logical that your body would be fine after 9 weeks of ingesting a heavily toxic and suppressive substance?

keep it simple and short to begin with. get your off days and pct sorted.

i dont recall him recommending 9 weeks and the 8 weeks is the max duration recommended, plus 8 weeks doing SD is A LOT of time on a toxic/suppressive drug.

but it seems at this point you are keen to follow your own plan despite what others say and have done

it sounds like you havent read whats been written and how to arrange a pulse.

just because you dose it 2x/week does not absolve you of any suppression. read up on the off days and pct.
 
Also the max. duration of 8 weeks recommended by the good doctor may be in respect of less toxic compounds such as epi...just sayin'

You do need PCT. I did an epi pulse and got bloodwork at the end, there was shutdown. I did a minimal PCT and lost some of the gains because of the slow recovery. Using a true PCT is much better and helps ensure you return to homeostasis faster, and keep gains. Don't waste the cycle on not doing it right at the end.
 
Wow, this is a huge thread!

Has anyone done an Anavar pulsing cycle? What recommendations could you give to someone trying to plan one?

I was thinking 80mg EOD for 4 weeks.

PCT would be Primordial Performance's TRS with TCF-1, stacked with Novedex XT, and I'm still playing with the dosing, but I was thinking a SERM like Toremifene.
 
I finally settled on doing a EPI pusle 3 days a week @ 30-45mg while on a traditional cycle of halovar I was gonna do a sdrol pulse but not quite sure how prone I am to gyno just yet so I figured EPI would be the safer route
 
so for about 8 weeks im only gonna be able to supplement during mon-fri cause im gonna be in huber on sat and sunday... id like to pulse something... or take something mon-fri

any suggestion on what PH to take? can Halodrol be pulsed?

halodrol cant be pulsed...its half life isn't short enough

im not a fan of doing x days on and y days off. i'm a greater fan of short half life, get it in your system and out asap 3-4x/week.

half life is important in the theory behind pulsing and hdrol is around 12hrs (from what i ve read) whereas SD or epi is around 6.
 
Absolutely terrific idea / advice!

Thread is a few years old, but stumbled across it just as i was researching my first havoc cycle.

Im pretty pedantic about things, and constantly read up and research stuff as much as i can before diving in.

From what ive gathered id like to run Havoc for 7-8 weeks, but i usually train 5 days a week.

Mon: Chest
Tues: Arms
Wed: Legs
Fri: Delts
Sat: Back

Friday is my easiest workout for the week in terms of strain and soreness (next day i am usually fine).

If i were to pulse this, would Mon / Wed / Fri (10mg) / Sat work ok? meaning i would have 1 day off between my large workouts, and double up on say 1 large and one smaller workout (call it 1.5 workouts).

How do you think running it as follows sounds?

Week 1: Mon / Wed / Sat - 10/10
Week 2: Mon / Wed / Sat - 20/10
Week 3-5: Mon/ Wed/ Fri/ Sat - 20/10 (Fri being 10mg pre w/o)
Week 6-8 Mon/Wed/Fri/Sat - 20/20 (Fri being 10mg pre/wo)

Another way i was thinking was keeping it at 30mg for Mon/Wed/Sat throughout 3-8, but upping Fri to 20mg instead of 10. What would you suggest?

Im not one for huge gains very quickly, and would rather steady gains of more quality over time. Also, it would help keep people off my back. Id like to also stay side free.

Novedex XT on off days or Jungle Warfare would be my 2 AI choices i think.

Does pulsing have a positive effect on toe effect to hair when taking epi?

10mg-20mg of Havoc per day will be too little, especially on a pulse.

Dr. D stated that three pulse days a week with one day off in between each or two days on followed by two days off should be the max for the amount of days ON during a pulse. Anything more and you might as well just go ahead and run a straight cycle.

Pulsing sounds great when u r scared of hpta suppression. What most people don't take into account is liver toxicity. Methylated steroids should not be ran at high doses because of a "pulse". Because hepatoxicity is determined by dosage of the methylated steroid, it would be imperative to spread out the doses throughout the day. The more taken at once, the greater stress placed on the liver. Besides taking your doses sprea web through the day to reduce hepatoxicity, many people believe that it would be beneficial in terms of maintaining a steady hormonal profile. Best results from a cycle are achieved with regular doses through the day with no breaks, missed doses, or extreme doses.

There's nothing wrong with taking it easy at first. I tend to err on the side safety as well.

I tried pulsing an Epi clone once but don't remember the doses (likely due to the less than stellar results). I had better success with my following stack of Stoked + Cort Blocker + Glucose Disposal Agent + ATD. After reading later logs and experiences, I came to the conclusion that my Epi clone was bunk and threw it out.

I think a straight cycle is probably the better way to go in comparision to pulsing. JMO though.
 
Everyones entitled to their opinion, and i tend to agree with you that a straight out cycle will harvest better results than a pulsing cycle.

Im trying to get a bottle of RPN Havoc, and one of IBE Epi, and will prob pulse with Havoc. After that, ill see my tolerance and how i handle it, and will give EPI a full run 4-6 months after the pulsing (my plan anyway).
