Holiday Gift Baskets...2009

Have to do these earlier this year - for reasons that should be apparent.

So far we have, this year:

Flawless NEW formula (reduced scent, WAY more intensive formula. No comparison to the old formula)
BoBu (choice of shimmer or non-shimmer)
Java Lather
Java Lather Liquid
ZENquility Sea Salt Bubble Bath
Majestic Mudd Mask
new Bath Confetti

Probably process by hand via email. I'll have pricing soon...the baskets are nicer than last year (velvet-lined) but no handles, so unless we find some smaller reeds the Java Fusion will not be placed in them.

If you cut them they splinter. I should be able to get 5 inch reeds, which will fit nicely.

We have actually been playing with the scents (actually, Christine has) and there are a few options we might go with....more holiday-ish.

The bath confetti delivery is not for another few days, but I can post the pic from last year tomorrow morning.

The only difference this year is that the baskets will not have the huge handle. I still need to tackle the ribboning, as the technique I developed used the handle.

I'm so crafty.

haha, yep :D

if you need baskets and ribbons and stuff, check out your local Michaels. They always have 40-50% coupons for single items, and occasionally do 20% off your entire order, even sale stuff. You can be extra crafty :D

Obviously employment played a role in that information, not my hobbies!

We bought out all of the Michael's in town.

We were only able to score about 25 baskets...so quantity is limited to them. They were also pricier than last year's - but MUCH nicer.

Looks like we're looking at a price of $62, delivered to any of the 48 states.

Any other delivery will have to be quoted individually. We also scored these very cool little custom ornaments for the inside...something special to remember the year with.

we added some more stuff to it.

It comes out below wholesale for most of the stuff, but I can't tell you how good it feels to do these every year.

I've gotten some of the most amazing emails back after Christmas every year - and that alone is worth it.
