yea having a beer here or there wont kill you, especially a non alcoholic one. id keep it to a minimum though.... unless your doing whey bombs lol
 
I also wanted to see what everyone opinon on drinking a N/A beer while on cycle is? I am very careful to stay away from the booze during cycle and PCT. N/A ber still has alcohol content of .5.

Personally, I wouldn't touch it. But that's coming from a strict non-drinker anyways. Plus Ive read a few articles where it talks about how much even one or two beers can really set you back with the progress made in the gym.
But who am I to give advice, I haven't even had a sip of beer/alcohol in over a year. Whatever you do, do it wisely. You're a smart guy Nick, you know your body better than any of us.
 
I don't really drink that much and haven't ever on cycle, except for a sip of champagne on new years. It really doesn't help your gym goals at all, and since i've started to take liifting more seriously and graduated from college haha, I've toned down the drinking, but its up to you.
 
I am very against drinking on cycle and PCT. I was just curious what every one had thought. N8te, I have been the same way ever since I graduated college a few years back.When I do go out to the bars I will drink either water or cranberry juice. Thanks for the input guys.
 
I think a if your going to have a drink it better be on glass of red wine. . .antioxidants are always a nice touch. . and there is more in one glass of red wine than 10 glass of OJ. . . soo that say. . .other than that. . WHY RISK IT. . .I like to have a good time here and there but when cycling its your time to shine and your liver and kidneys will appreciate you more than ever if you just bring it back to teh basics. .eat. . sleep. . work. . and workout!! CAll me crazy but you only get one set of kidney's and one liver. . :biglaugh:
 
UPDATE DAY 22:

I am up roughly 6 lbs and my appetite is through the roof. At this point I am not sure what is higher, my libido or my hunger. I had your typical lazy Sunday on the couch to relax. I could barely walk due to being so sore and stiff from the power lifting bench training. I was seriously sorer than a virgin. It got a lot better once I was up moving around though. I forced myself to go to the gym and I kept telling myself that this is what makes the difference of being strong and just wanting to be strong. The average person would have made every excuse in the book about being sore and to not go. Eff that sh*t. Not only did I go but I also set a PR!!!!

Warm Up:

I literally stretched for 15 minutes

3 sets of 25 perfect push-ups

Workout, Shoulders:

Seated military press in front of head: 10x135, 8x155, 5x160m 5x160

Shrugs: 20x315, 6x415, 5x425, 5x425-PR!!!!

Seat military dumb bell press: 9x55, 6x60, 6x60

Hammer Strength: 6x60, 6x60, 6x60

After working out with the team on Saturday and getting yelled at for training like a body builder I am going to be altering my workout slightly to accent the power lifting. Low rep, super slow and controlled reps. No more skull crushers and no more burn outs unless its natural body weight such as dips or pull ups. I also was told to back down on the cardio to only one day a week. I will be training my chest on saturdays with my shirt and doing raw board presses and a regular chest workout on Wednesdays.

I did have to cut my workout a bit short due to my joints in my elbows and wrists killing me. Tonight will be my back day so we will see how I feel. I am still a bit sore but no where near I was yesterday. I should see some nice weight gain this week as it is week number 4.

UPDATE DAY 23

AAAHHHHHHH, feeling great. I am 100% back to normal from the sore and stiffness. Sick pumps in and out of the gym. I am still walking around in a great mood as well. The anger, aggression and intensity in the gym last night was out of this world. Put on my head phones and the weights felt lighter and lighter. I set two PR's as well!!!!

Sides: Elevated hunger, thirst, and libido. The lethargy is still in check due to the DHEA at about 100mg a day. Testicular hypertrophy I believe has leveled off. They are still a bit sore from time to time but nothing major. No signs of acne, gyno, craps or hair loss. No real sign of edginess and haven't seen any of the on cycle paranoia.

Today is my day off but I managed to drag my a$$ out of bed to get a nice HIIT workout on the track this morning. Intensity was defn there even on the track!!!! I am sure I will be getting some more "cardio" in tonight when I stay at the girlfriends lol.

I have been applying my 2nd dose of Formestane before bed to my inner though and I wake up an hour after I fall asleep with some insane libido elevation lol. My muscles are a lot fuller and I can defn notice a gain in size of my arms, chest, and shoulder, neck etc. I have however lost a little bit around my waist and only gained 6 lbs according to the scale. Best of all I have just shy of 3 weeks left on cycle to continue to make gains!!!!!!

looks like ur killin it on this cycle bro. hows the m14 ? seems like ur getting good strength gains forsure, what about sides , any hair/gyno issues?

The M14 is insane bro. I highly recommend you run in somewhere down the road. As far as the hair loss, gyno and acne, I haven't seen any really. The only real side I have had is a little big of rage and I am lethargic as hell without the DHEA.
 
UPDATE DAY 25

WWHHHHOOOOOAAA!!!!!!!! Still feeling awesome. I literally want to eat everything in sight and its has been quite hard to stay on this clean diet. I have been good though and have not cheated. Seems I just get the urge to eat and entire chicken wing pizza daily lol. My calorie intake has been pretty consistent at 3500 daily. My strength is through the roof, I have lost weight around my mid section and I have had some nice size gains my triceps still have the pump from last night workout!!!!!

Sides: Hungry, thirsty and I need not even describe my libido haha.Lethargy is in check due to 100mg of DHEA. No problems with hair loss, acne or gyno. My nipples are a little bit puffy but that always happens to me when on cycle. I did sleep like sh*t due to being so sore from my workout.

I have had problems in the past with extreme delayed gyno from Superdrol. It actually started after I finished a PCT with Nolva. I hopped on some Letro and then ran a cycle of nolva to follow and the problem is completely gone. I have enough letro on hand to poison an elephant in case needed lol.

Warm Up:

The rest of my exercises were done normal without my bench shirt. My triceps and chest were literally shot after that.

Triceps Press Down w/ "V" bar: Again the number are scratched off but I used the whole stack

I popped blood vassals in my cheeks, my ears popped and vision went a little bit blurry yet again. I test my trainer after my workout and he said to run BenGay on my wrists and elbows to eliminate the pain. My body isn't used to that much pressure from holding my breath and all the weight at the same time as of yet. It will take a few months to get used to. Tonight will be my legs workout (which I hate) but I have to get it done lol.

Thanks bro. I was completely drained after benching with the shirt. My trainer says he will have me at 500lbs within a year! If I get to that point ill throw an effin party lol.

UPDATE DAY 26

I am still feeling amazing!!!!! Pumps in and out of the gym are insane. I am up 8lbs in weight total as of this morning. Two solid weeks left of gains to be made on cycle. In the past I have continued making gains whole on PCT when running other cycles. Hopefully it will still remain true to this one.

Sides: Thirst, Libido and Hunger. Just to give you an idea of how much I am eating. Last night after my workout I lit the grill and ate 2 cheeseburger and 6 turkey hot dogs lol. Testicular atrophy has leveled off and they are still a bit sore from time to time. The lethargy is terrible if I don't pop the DHEA. I got busy at work yesterday and forgot to take it later in the morning. Holy crap I was groggy and in a bad mood.

As you will see below, my legs are the weakest part of my body. I will slam plates all day long nice and heavy with my upper body! I hate doing legs and had tried to avoid them at all costs lol. My trainer told me just like everyone else to start to lift them once a week. I did and it wasn't pretty. I got terrible cramps after my first set of Hack squats and while doing my calf raises. This isn't a side from the sauce either, this always happened when I lift legs. I still finished my workout and will slowly but surely get my legs to where they need to be. Next week I am going to really see what I can do on my dead lifts. I am fairly strong when it comes to them.

Warm up:

I was supposed to hit the gym this morning but could not get myself out of bed for anything. The lethargy before I take the DHEA is awful. I will just incorporate my biceps workout in tomorrow's workout. My power lifting team is not going to be meeting this weekend due to the Holiday so I will be hitting a different gym with a few buddies to rip it up. Going to be a chest / back / bicep day. I wont be lifting my chest too terribly heavy and won't be training with my shirt.

I spoke to my man N8te last night for a bit and I will be meeting up with him in NC on Monday to smash some steel while on a business trip. He and I ran a M-drol / Epi bridge basically at the same time in a previous cycle and compared our results. Its going to be cool to train with a fellow AM brother.

I hear you on the lethargy... the dhea is a godsend for sure. What times do you take your doses? I switched mine up a bit and it seems to be working better to alleviate some lethargy. Im thinking the m1,4add is the main cause of it compared to p-mag, so I take my first dose one pill of each. My second is 2 pills of m1,4add, and my third is one of each again. Doing this allows me to get a dhea in before too much m1,4add is in my blood. Im pretty sure p-mag has a longer half life which is why I space it apart more.

also, what do you mean when u bench with a bench shirt? ive never heard of that... is it just a shirt lol? i know i sound like a noob but im just curious

I space out the doses and take everything one pill at a time throughout the day to maintain plasma levels. I usually pop 100mg of DHEA when I get to working the morning and then after I get back from lunch and it takes care of it. Both compounds have a half life of a few hours.

When I say shirt, I am talking about a bench press shirt custom made for my body used for power lifting. I am going to be competing and will be using the shirt in comps. Benching with a shirt and flat bench are two totally different animals. A shirt will add weight to your bench but you need to learn how you use it and have perfect from. The amount of weight you can get out of a shirt will vary from each individual. I have an inzer single ply denim shirt and just ordered a poly super kitana to compete in a different federation. Its not as simple as putting a shirt on and your bench going up a ton. There is a ton to learn regarding form and moving the weight correctly. When I first started power lifting the guys kept yelling at me to stop benching like a body builder lol. I am sure you can google them and see what I am talking about.

UPDATE

Bare with me, I am updating this via my BlackBerry sitting in an Airport lol. I feel great and my strength is defn up. The intensity and aggression are great and just add to the insanity.

Those of you that know me via AM and have been following my log know I am into the powerlifting side of things. I used my shirt last Wednesday and it ripped up my tri pretty bad. Thusrday was a legs and friday was my day off aside form some cardio. I hit the gym on sat morning to get a chest ans back workout. I had to cut my workout very short due to being in so much pain. My tri are so brusied it could bench after my third set. I took yesterday off and have been using IcyHot to take care of the pain. My trainer said its normal and my arms will toughen up after a month or so of this.
Sides: nothing really new other than I have been bloated as hell. Celebrated Easter with my family on Saturday and my girlfriends family yesterday. Needless to say I had to eat a lot more carbs than I am used to. I'm still bloated beyond belif sitting here now updating this lol.

Warm up:
Bench press:10X135

Flat Bench: 10x250,5x275,5x315 all done off a 3 board raw with month shirt.

I am on my way down the NC for work and will be meeting up with my man N8te this afternoon to smahs some plates. I am more than looking forward to working out today despite my brused tri's.

UPDATE DAY 29

Sick pumps in and out of the gym. If I didn't have to drive 3 hours tonight I could have stayed and worked out for hours. Huge ups to my man N8te. I met up with him this afternoon after I finished working in NC to get in a workout. Very cool to meet up with a fellow AM member in the gym. My tri's are still bruised and sore. I was able to get in a workout but didn't go as heavy as usual.

Sides: Lethargy was aweful this morning. Due to my traveling I wasn't able to take my DHEA until about 12:30. I was one mean and grumpy mother f*cker without it lol.

Workout, Shoulders:

Seated Front Military press on smith machine: 10x135, 8x185, 8x190, 8x195

Standing Dumb bell shrugs: 20x315, 20x365, 15x385

Seated Arnold press / dumb bell press super set, 3 sets of 10 done with 45lbs

Rainbow press: 3 sets with 75lbs and 5lbs plates
