Wuuuut? Snap....how recent of a lawsuit is that? Didn't think they be spiking much more than just few grams worth, not nearly half
Sadly it is true

Forums are worse than the justice system, Guilty without knowing the facts.
because plaintiff attorneys are looking out for the consumer....
People should be ashamed of themselves taking the word of plaintiff attorneys at face value...
I have known some people that have known this for almost a year now.....

I hope yours meet label claims cause I love the chocolate and vanilla flavours
Lets see, go with veracity of lawyer who worked hard, passed the bar and underwent rigorous background check or the veracity of supplement companies given all of the wonderful publicity brought on by themselves.
Sadly, someone needs to keep Supp companies in check with these kind of issues.

pretty weak argument, do you know how many lawyers are disbarred and sanctioned every year?
using press articles to defense is weak as well.
sadly if you believe the press you'll believe anything...

Lol at your last statement. The articles I cited were based on FDA, Journal of American Medical Association and Harvard Medical School. Then we have athletic bodies, WADA and medical professionals examining and evaluating safety and efficacy of products.
Haha, and I am supposed to believe you??? What a toser. I am sure feeling all picked on unfairly after OEP and how's Aegeline working out for you?
The lawyer argument could take up 20 pages on its own. I'm a Plaintiff's attorney and can argue both sides. Yes, many attorneys bring bogus claims each year and there are some pretty steep monetary sanctions for malicious prosecution and abuse of process. Good attorneys know this. It's important to look at who is representing the class in some of these cases. Here, lead counsel appears to be Seeger Weiss LLP which is one of the top class action firms in the country by U.S. News, National Law Journal, etc. Bad apples can grow in any orchard, but I doubt Seeger Weiss would put its reputation on the line by brining a totally bogus claim.
I'm interested to see how this plays out. Unfortunately we do live in a society that usually adopts a "guilty until proven innocent" mentality (which even I am guilty of if you read my above post about it being sad but true), however, the burden of proof is on the plaintiffs so they will be responsible for proving GS broke the law by a preponderance of the evidence.
It makes no sense to base a defense off the fact that you can't believe plaintiff's attorneys because they are just money-hungry because, well, what are supplement companies? Isn't that the point of all business? Lawyers are the same as supplement companies - some succeed by doing things the right way while others look for any means to gain a buck.
Nobody is wrong in stating their own opinion, I just like to play devils advocate every once in awhile. Just my two cents! Okay, I'm gonna go lift now
evaluating safety and efficacy? do some lawyering before tossing and argument out of your butt.
Expected more from a professional with 20 years in the field but some of us don't move much in our field and left to posting semi-ficiton on internet forums.
the point was let the evidence unfold before we crucify. And lawyers are not altruistic and watch, they will never have to identify the entire class and the lawyers will pocket most of the money as it will settle early.
I'm also curious why this firm picked a company that has little money. there are much bigger fish in this game. I'm talking companies with revenue in the 100s of millions.
People no longer think for themselves and then post USA today articles without reviewing and questioning the references.
Is there any other reason for adding extra amino acids to a proton other than spiking? Outside of leucine.
Google: Lazaro Rodriguez v. Giant Sports Products, LLC. It's case 2:14-cv-08378 (sorry, I'm an attorney so posting case numbers is a habit)
I would really be shocked if this true knowing how BK feels about QC
Does anyone know this? I wanna know can we just rule out buying any protein with other amigos and stuff in the ingredients. I am assuming so, but I could be wrong.
That's what most people are avoiding, yea
Thank you sir. I just wasn't sure if there was any legit reason.
I've been using snicker doodle and freaking love it for taste/value/quality. Great protein.
Thanks for the support man! Glad you enjoy it so much![]()
Everyone in this forum is a lawyer?
Right? Seems like they have enough time on their hands to post on forums.
I heard it being implied that Chromadex was the lab that tested the protein and they also found an incredibly high amount of glycine in the product? Smh.
Chromadex ran the test its in the complaint filed with the court.
