I'm not the least bit homophobic but I just don't wanna see that **** at the gym. It's bad enough I got all the retards there , now I got too Wong foo next to me on the tread mill. WTF, Did planet fitness close membership or something?! It's $10 a month there! Why are you here??!!!

I will have to tell you again that even if you think I do not need to be, I am still slightly jealous at some of the sites you see. Of course, about the time I am ready to do squats and some f*cker is in there curling just the bar, I may have to go Mike rage on them!

Haha, it offers some entertainment I admit. I seriously could take at least 5 pictures of classic and new found douchbaggery on a daily basis. The guy that works the desk was working out the other day. Skinny dude , doesn't lift often. Anyway I watched him wheel a bench from a perfectly clear area into the rack backwards so he could put his feet on the spot platforms while he did DB flys during peak gym hours. I walked by and looked at him with a half grin and he looked at me and just nodded like he was in the zone puttin work in mr serious.

I'm currently looking for a more suitable gym within reasonable distance but the only thing close by is 2 "Planet Fitmesses" in either direction. I'm surrounded by the mother ships! Send back up now damnit!!!

Man is there nothing more I hate than when somebody is using the squat rack for other purposes. It's bad enough my gym is a piece of **** and is falling apart( free membership though). There should be a separate gym for the 'special' lifters.
My friend sent me a free week pass to 24hour fitness. Ill be trying that out in Colorado next week. Can't wait, they'll probly have more than 1 squat machine.

If your going to 24 hour fitness in Denver stay away from the one at Alameda and Colorado Blvd. Like most 24 hr fitness there's 1 squat rack, 1 power rack, and a smith machine. And at the aforementioned 24 there's usually three d-bags trying to do some kind curl(even though there's empty curling racks) and several times I have seen guys playing games on phone in the leg press. If that's not going on, there's typically 300+ people in there fighting for space.
 
Saw something interesting tonight. Guy was doing flat bb press with a single 45 pound plate. Not 1 on each side but 1 total haha. Then instead of taking the plate off and putting it on the other side he would pick up the bar and spin it around haha. Me and another guy stopped mid conversation to stare and give the "wtf" look to each other haha.

The one on 38th and Winona in Denver is tiny and has 1 squat rack, 1 power rack, 1 smith machine and 1 barbell bench. Barely any place to stretch and when it's packed it's like a maze to move around in there.
 
I was told to go to the 24 hour fitness on Arapahoe and Parker in centennial Colorado.

Yeah I haven't been there, but a buddy of mine when he works in that area, says its great place to train. It's huge and not a lot of people there since the membership fees are more.

How far are you armbrust pro gym(44th and Kipling)? If I lived close to that gym I would cancel my membership at 24 in a heartbeat.

I go to school in Boulder but my parents live around the 24 on 38th so when I'm down there I go to that one. I haven't checked out Armbrust but I might have to. Looks like its pretty close to my parents house

I actually like wearing a hoodie at the gym when its cold in there. Airs gotta be cold though or I overheat and start get exhausted. I really like lifting outside in the winter layered up a bit for some reason.

I meant busting*. I wear a hoodie almost every day at least until I get warmed up good. Usually through my main lift.

In soviet Russia sweats wear you! I usually wear a 3 piece sports suit whenever I work out.

Usually I go to a polish gym not far from 6th and federal, it's free for me because I train kids judo but geez is that gym a disgusting pit of ****.

Today I'm going to 24fitness on hampden and Tamarac near dtc. I want a gym meant for ****ing dedicated ppl. A gym where u can go from 120* degrees in the sauna to 8* degrees outside. What's this pro gym you go to Swanson ?
 
It's on Havana and Jewell. Total meathead gym; it's the home gym of the Colorado Heavy Haulers (strongman team) and I've seen Brian Shaw in there. Assorted amateur bb and fitness models as well. Love it.

It's no Armbrust, but there's a lot less BS too.

Ahh that's right next to a European grocery store I helped build! I know of that gym but I've never been inside. I'll definitely have to check it out now. Thanks.
 
Had a dude next to me that was wearing a belt for curls which caught my attention right off the bat. He was using a 45 and going about a quarter of the way down which I also found interesting. Now I suppose this technique could be used to target different parts of the bicep but in this guys case, I ruled that he was a douche. After every set he would slam the dumbbell down on the seat as if to let everyone know he was done with a set. Then, when he would start a new set he would slam the dumbbell back in the seat hard enough to where it would bounce up a freakin foot and he would resume his retard curls. Dude was driving me nuts!
