BOSSMAN'S First supplement log on AM

Your arms are looking good in your video !!

Hang in there bro! Sometimes back pain saps more energy than we think, making us feel tried and lethargic. Hence why so many become depressed and addicted after back injuries and or surgery.

Just keep doing what you can, because this log is definitely amazing and inspiring!

Still going at it with caution. Around 60% qith the weight. Dam I felt focused and strong today. Tried to use some advice from the video I posted above with different routines and exercises. Trick the body!!! Really wish I could have upped the weights but still got in a good burn.

I am so ready to pushed the pedal through the floorboards but not gonna do it. I need to be 100% for when lawncare pops off.

That looks delicious! Sweet Thai chili is the best!

I love Thai food !! Spicy & Flavorful

Slow & Steady wins the race.
Ive been dealing with my back since Christmas Day and have not squatted since.
Plenty of ways to get it done without a compound movement.
Be smart, listen to your body, and adjust. We are only getting older :)

Another great workout this morning considering the babysitting of the lower back and just training 14 hours ago. Lots of focus, lots of endurance, and lots of want!!! Meaning I WANT to really bang around and toss some weights but playing it cool.

Agreed. The only kale i can stand is if you put it in the oven and have kale crisp chips with some seasoning on it. And at that point I think you've baked all the healthy out of it and burned 100 cal prepping it to go in the oven so ...(n)

Should hold me over for a while 💪

Now it's off to the races as usual. Gotta go take care of some lawncare business, go see tax lady, and hopefully around 1pm I plan on taking my son and as many of his buddies as possible to the local outdoor bball courts. These kids gotta get out and run. I will bully these youngins in the paint!!!!!

What is that liquid for?

Moisture and baste
Vinegar ginger beer and brandy

So it’s supposed to steam up into the meat? Sorry, I’m not a good cook/bbq’r

Yup
Then use a baster and draw some in your tube and squeeze it on the meat also

Have you done that beer can chicken?

Yes ma'am that easy bidness

Lol, I like grilling or roasting a tri tip then slicing it, pouring some sweet chili sauce over it and cooking it again for the sauce to turn into a thicker glaze.

I had some good Smoked Ribs last night, I went the easy route and bought them !

Focus and drive just wasn't there this morning. Was still able to get heart rate up with some sweat rolling. Definitely feel better now after the workout than I did at 3am this morning. Definitely contemplated getting back in bed. Back is still not 100% but getting better by the day. Now off to a productive day 💪💥💯💥

Looks good! I'm a mustard guy as well!

Flet pretty good yesterday after getting home from work. Played some bball with my son, softball with my daughter and then cranked out some wind sprints for about 25-30 minutes. Probably 30-60 yard sprints gradually uphill then walk back. Definitely gets the heart rate up and break a sweat.

Back is getting better by the day. Another week or so and should be back to moving weight again.

Have you seen a sports chiropractor?
I saw one last night and the SI joint on my right side was out of place causing my right leg to be shorted an half inch. Talk about snap crackle pop

may be something worth looking into

Nah man haven't seen a doc for this situation

A chiropractor is not a doctor
Because chiropractors do not have an M.D. degree, they aren't medical doctors
Chiro would be a great and valuable resource for your back. I would highly consider it and would really get the ball rolling for recovery. Especially a sports chiropractor.

Now that's a good meal !!

I have been seeing a chiropractor once a month for about the last 5 years, well worth the money.

This was a really awesome workout today for a few reasons. Number 1 being I finally got my 16 year old to train with me. He trains virtual with my equipment in the garage with his bball team which is great but I've been asking for months for him to train with me. He is a really big kid, 6ft in 10th grade and would more than likely be starting varsity this year but covid of course. He has stayed true, he either trains or plays bball 7 days a week at the house during this BS. He has played bball since he was 5 years old year around. So it's great to see he still has the drive to push himself through covid.

His training is totally for basketball which is different than my training. We did chest today, poor fella couldnt even do push ups at the end.

Okay I could just keep rambling and bragging cause im so happy about him Training with me but I'm gonna move on.

I was able to get back up to 225 on bench for my last 5 sets with no lower back pain at all. I was moving 275 for reps by myslef before my back went out.. Solid lifts today with increased weight and no back issues. So really excited about that too.

Another cool thing is my lower back stretching routine has almost turned into freaking yoga. Oddly enough I like it, this may seem weird to some of you guys but I've actually fell into prayer a few times while stretching 🙏🙏😎🤷🏿‍♂️. Now it's like I'm looking forward to it. Getting things done and it seems to all be coming back around full circle.

On a very sad note, I lost one of OG customers. He was a hell of a man, and I will leave it at that. Went in on Jan 4, ventilator on jan 14th, and we lost him yesterday from covid. This is the first loss I've had from covid. I just was at his house around Xmas. Unbelievable, he was a friend of the family also as he used to rip and run with my grandfather also. His wife and kids are absolutely devastated. The last time she talked to him was Jan 13 over face time, the last thing he told her was " I just wish I could climb a mountain and yell to the world how much I love you". Yup, choked me all the way up when she called me with that one.

So let's all remember to be safe, let the ones you love know it daily. We aren't promised tomorrow and it sukks that things have to happen like this to remind us.

Gambino Out!!!!

Time with the kids, Priceless !!

Sorry to hear about your family friend and customer. Just a reminder for us to spend time with the ones that matter to us and don't forget to tell them while you have the chance.

And that’s why I go to a chiropractor... because they do not have a MD. From my experience, MDs just want to write scripts or put you under the knife. Chiropractors ( the few I’ve been to) focus on helping go you heal and improve range of motion and things like that.
