It was originally priced at 299$, was on sale for 199$ and that's when I bought it. Then it went down to 179$ on black friday so I took my receipt back and got it for the 179$!!!
Nice! I know mine was under $200 as well. Can't beat that price in terms of weight/$ value!

Not new anyway. That's a damn good price for new!!! My best deal off of craigs list was a $400 bench and squat rack, a Texas Power Bar = $189, a 15lb slam ball and 390lbs of olympic weights all for $250!!!! I was so stoked when i left there.

I have been searching for anything even close to that since. I did get 2 45s and 2 35s for $0.50 /lb once too. Was very happy about that. My weights are all kinds of mismatched but they still lift the same... :)

Today is a off day, a real off day. Not like monday when I didnt train in the morning but couldn't help myself and ended up doing dead lifts Monday night.

I'm feeling really good right now, the new exercises have targeted muscles I can tell I haven't been hitting.

Nutrition is great, amazing how just getting back into the gym the nutrition comes right along with it.
I have really been focused on sleep and lowering stress levels.

Well with the training and sleep, the stress comes down. Its working.

Last night was ground turkey with white corn, black beans, green olives, and taco sauce. So delicious.

So now that I'm back and have a lil downtime this morning I would like to share some things with you guys. So back in August 2019 is when things starting going down hill for me.
It was a struggle on a daily basis to train, to make it through my 10 hour day job, and nonetheless still maintain my lawncare service in the evenings and weekends.
I knew something was wrong with me and just couldn't pin point exactly what it was.

I fought it for about 2 months and it got so bad I had to let my guard down and go see the doc. Well sure enough after a few rounds of bloodwork I was diagnosed with rocky mountain spotted fever and lymes disease.
Never missed a day of work, and once I found out what the issue was I decided to attack the disease and stay as positive as possible throughout the process. I had lymes before back in the early 90s and it actually put me in the hospital, long story short...I wasn't going through that bs again.

So I reached out to @The Solution as he is my go to guy!!

This guy took it upon himself to do his own research on disease, my meds I would be on, and a nutrition plan as what would be best for my situation.

After 60 days of meds, nutrition changes, and staying positive I went back for new bloodwork and boom!!! Free and clear of all disease.

I just wanted to take the time to thank @The Solution for the support. I know you guys that are in this log already know what he brings to the table. I just wanted to share this with you all, and we can add it to his resume.

Health always comes first Just like how we have to take care of our families and home Base first. It’s not easy fixing major health scares and diseases but there are solutions. You trusted me and stuck to the plan and in the end you got what I projected. The work was all you I was the one just monitoring the progress and being the eye in the sky

That's a killer deal. Really anytime you can gets weight plates for under a dollar per lbs it's a deal in my opinion.

Absolutely! Like a total steal! I told him point blank I knew what he had and was offering but that was all the cash I had and asked if I could just get a lot of the weights after a long convo he was like man I would rather know all of this will get used than sell for more and think it might just be sitting somewhere unused. That's when he tossed in the med ball and a couple dumbbells too. It sure has gotten used!!!

Strength is up, endurance is moving in the right direction.

Decent workout this morning, not as productive as the last 2 weeks. Probably just need a day or 2 rest from the gym. Been hitting it pretty hard!

Got a nice pump this morning on chest and biceps. Triceps and shoulders are feeling really good from yesterday workout.

Nice work and those roasted veggies look good. Not a huge fan of cooked carrots but the sprouts with jalapenos and salt... Yeah I bet that could change it up a bit. I love making meals like you have done here with the white corn, chicken and beans. I always forget to measure them out to figure out the macros though. End up just plating and eating...

Uncle Bens Flavor Infusion Spanish rice is an easy option with no frying needed. So as long as carbs are in play it is pretty much a go.

Took Saturday and Sunday off from training and spent time with the family. My body needed a break. Started to feel a sore throat/cold coming in yesterday. Been loading up on some home remedies. No training this morning, just trying to get the extra rest. I'm up and at work.
As long as I dont cough my head off and give myself a headache I should be able to get a evening workout today

Just wanted to get the heart rate going and break a sweat to combat this bs cold sore throat deal. Workout was great but now feeling like sh1t.

Didnt come close to hitting macros yesterday, may have gotten 4 hours of sleep cause of the coughing and snotting etc etc.....

But...of course I'm at work. Been loading up on vit c, magnesium, chicken broth. Cough drops, Ibuprofen , sinus med.

I can deal with the sinus/throat....its the dam coughing that leads to headaches.

Oh well staying positive, get off at 2pm and have some business to take care of and hope to get in a 60 minute session.

Just looking to sweat and get some air flowing and break this sh1t up.

If you are under the weather rest....
Don't train, because then your going to go through the motions and not go 100%.
Get well, get healthy, then get back to the grind.

Yep, it's going around. Had my cough for over 2 weeks before it subsided enough to get back to it. Just now beginning to workout since before the holidays. Hope it goes quickly for you.

I've pin pointed it to two situations, last friday we had our annual hearing test at work which is a mobile unit and 8 of us was jammed in there. Couple guys were freaking hacking all over the place. I intentionally was wiping everything with sanitizer.
Or, my boss ran my machine while I was gone at the hearing test. When I got back he was hacking all up in my machine.

Who knows, but I am that guy who really focusses on staying clear of germs.

Laying low this evening, got baby girl off the bus and started cooking. At the moment, I'm in sweatshirt, sweatpants, and wrapped in a blanket on the couch. Will probably go to bed as soon as the wife gets home.

Got 9 hours of sleep last night. Feeling a bit better today for sure. Maybe I broke this cold or whatever the hell I got. Starting to sweat randomly. Monday I was a 4, yesterday a 3, today a 6. Gonna keep doing what I'm doing to try speed through this crap as things were going great up until Sunday as far as training and nutrition.

Getting sick sucks! a lot of crap going around. I have had this hacky thing going on for over a month. My wife got bronchitis a month ago and is still trying to completely shake it.

Man oh man after lurking around the site the last few days, definitely looks as thought I wasn't the only one fighting this crap!! That's what I'm calling it, CRAP!!
I had to take my son to the walk in clinic Thursday night cause he dislocated his thumb in a bball game. I asked the nurse about the viruses going around. She said that there are 4 different types going around. Pretty nasty. Well I self medicated and got as much rest as possible in and I'm good. Still have the build up of mucas in chest and throat but its breaking up and spitting out.
I had a really nice workout this morning. and finally got back over 3k cals yesterday. Appetite is back.

The Fuel will be used this evening. I have to travel several hours to go pick up my oldest son. 4 hour round trip after bball games are done around 2pm. This will be a perfect opportunity!
