I need to get them numbers down for myself. I have worked out for years but never worked out with anyone that did the 5/3/1 reps. I would like to learn. Also how can I get my numbers down to a science like that? Thanks -big boy D

Not sure what else I should take if anything for post Transaderm. I am already taking Pure Test, PCT Rev. Black, EndoSurge for my pct. And of Course I am taking 2 each N2 Burn in the morning and afternoon. Of course I am also taking other things as well. Such as EFA Lean Gold with CLA, Super Cissus RX, ISS Research Vitamins. Those are the supplements with the exception of my Whey Protein.

As far as calories on workout days I am dropped from 2500 to 2300 and on non workout days I went from 1700 to 1500.

Damn, that is tight there man. Not telling you what to do, but for me at least, that is too restrictive on the cals. I would be bitchy and ravenous if I pulled it in to 1500/day. The weight loss is nice, but it is not worth it to me to sacrifice lean mass to see the scale go down. Not saying that is happening with you.

Here is a good place to start:

You can tweak it to fit more for your goals by altering the assist movements. My variation is a BB altered form. In case you missed it, I am changing it up this week to let my shoulder heal so I will not be doing delt or chest work outs this week.

Are you talking about the diet numbers? If so there are a few different places you can input what you eat and it will give you all the detailed info you want.

Yeah I know what you mean. I just started this with our little contest. I also did it because I am no longer 260 lbs. My main goal for now is to feed my Lean mass not my actual body weight. That way I shouldn't lose muscle if anything help put some mass on or stay where I am at lean mass wise.

Hmmm how far back would I have to read to get a weight update from you guys? :)

That's AWESOME man, half a month-ish deep in this thing and already seeing decent progress :) Might be something I will have to try out before summer.

Keep the burn days low but don't drop the workout days, that's going to help you mantain more mass...

Yes Yes Yes!! I couldnt agree more. I learned this the hard way when first trying to cut aggressively. Keep the build days up over maintenance to maintain that muscle, and drop the burn days to create the bigger defecit

Started at 275, still sitting at around 273. However, I am seeing some improved vascularity, so I may actually be gaining some mass while leaning out. Dat be fine by me.

That sounds like a win win!

So I am going to test something out. Last, few days I have been going to bed later and later. Today I will not take n2 burn at lunch and see if I do the same thing. Going to bed around 11 ish and getting up at 4:30 is not cutting it. I normally get to bed around 9-9:30.

Yah I am an early to bed guy and up between 4-4:30...

Yeah I need to try and get some sleep. I drive 53 miles one way to work. It takes me 1hour and 15minutes with no traffic. When there is traffic like on fridays it is an easy 2 hours to get home leaving at 4 in the afternoon

11/4/11 Day 3, altered week 3 (MC6)
5:30-6:25 Started with 5 minute warm up

Squat (Does not include warm up sets at bar, 140, 230. Belt on last 2 sets only)
310X5, 350x3, 390x3 (RAWRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!) These were very tight. Had a spotter so I had no reservations about the depth on the 390 set.

Leg Press @730
15/12/10 (these left my quads screaming)

Lying Leg Curl @ 125
10/10/6

Hack Squat (all reps below parallel, went very deep with these)
230x12, 280x12/11 (Pushed off on my knees the last few reps)

Old Nautilus Ab Crunch @120 55/10 (1st set toasted them)

2756 cals (154 carbs, 233 protein {plus 18g bcaa}, 137 fats) with an estimated burn of 4020 for a deficit of 1264.

congratz on the PR man!!

Always nice to hit those. :D

That squat is WAY higher than mine....... You're beast man!

Thanks gents. Took a 3 point caliper reading tonight. Came in at a total of 30mm, down 4 so that pretty much confirms that my body is doing a recomp with what we got going on. Reduced fat and increasing lean mass.

Ok so you both agree that I should leave my calories alone on the workout days do either of you think I should lower the calories on the non workout days? Meaning lower than 1500 down to maybe 1300? I have been at 1700.

Most everything I have read states that 1500 cals is the bottom of the most restriction you want to go to for a male.

You are not far off. I know there is a breaking point. When I first started this life change in February I was only bringing in like 1200 calories and I was sitting at 3 bills at that time. And my workout consisted of only the p90x program.

Just try 2500 and 1500 I think you'll be fine ...you may even want to up your wd cal intake...it's funny with lean gains you can have a higher average calorie intake than with normal diets. See how it goes with 2500 1500 ...

Thanks DW for your input.

Hit some AM cardio this morning. 20 minutes, random hill profile on the bike. Wanted to go longer but time constraints would not allow it. 90 cals down, all day burn :)

Venison based summer sausage and meat sticks are to DIE for. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm (Damn it doc, am pretty much done eating for the day, arggggggggggggggggggggg) LOL.

Alright, Dietary for today: 2141 cals (84 carbs, 203 protein [plus 18g bcaa], 114 fats) with an estimated burn of 3526 for a deficit of1385. (Assuming I do not munch on an apple not that Scotty has got me drooling for deer jerky!)

Maybe I should post a pic or two of my freezer.

Ok tanman I got my eyes on you even though I am in the field hunting. I am still working out. Walked 1000 yards with 100 lbs of corn on each shoulder plus my back pack and rifle. Now if some deer or piggies would come out and play things would be even better. Lol

Oh, I had no doubt that you had not forgotten me ;) That being the case, I rode about 40 minutes on my bike to get a good burn going and kept things very tight today: 2200 cals on the nose (78 carbs, 186 protein [+12g bcaa], 132 fats) with an estimated burn of 3699 for a deficit of 1499.
