my diet now is soooooo different than normal. i'm sort of winging it meal to meal as I work from home. So I can more or less do what I want whenever I want. :D

so far today
m1 - 8oz gfj, 4oz apple juice, 1 cup oats, 1 banana, 1 scoop protien
m2 - 6 big buckwheat pancakes, sugar free syrup, cup of mixed berries, 1 banana, glass of hood calorie countdown milk (the hard candies on my diet planner is the syrup, it was an all sorbitol syrup)
m3 - most likely a bunch of a quinoa/brown rice mix, grilled chicken breast dunno what else yet :D still need a bit more carbs

Thanks man this looks good...I eat those oats you talk about to I really like them. I cook them in microwave an then add milk and a dash of brown sugar tastes great.

this cycle was the first time i've worked calves in a year :D

the waist sort of sucks but not that bad I guess for the volume of food. Probably will drop to below where it was once I stop forcefeeding myself carbs + fiber :D

But looks like i'm off on the idea about carbs. So today i'm giving up on the 600g carbs thing, and going to raise fat back up a little, maybe to 100g so probably around 400g carbs (and lower overall cals a little too)
 
have to take the 4yo to a birthday party, so just doing arms today, i'll do legs tomorrow. plus my lower back is still feeling not great, so another day will be nice

raised heel squats superset with calf raises 4 sets of 10
leg extensions superset with leg curls 4 sets of 10

heels were raised almost 3", man that changes how squats feel, it was almost all glutes + quads, barely noticed it in my hams. nice for a change

3" to me is a recipe for a blown knee, i cant do that at all. My sh*t is super weak at the joint.
 
well, i'm doing it on a machine setup, so its not that bad. And I have horrible knees as it is, arthritis in them, next to no cartillage at all on the inside edge.

so looking at his feet, i put the heels up on the round bar. was quite different feel, but not horrible stress on the knees. I was able to get ass to hit heels tho, which was nice
 
i know, it looked good for a bit. there is still something there as far as how the macro split affects gains / fatloss, but im not sure of details.

214 today, yesterday afternoons meals were unmeasured and uncontrolled at the party

:D yeah, but i don't particularly want it either :D right now at the upper chest, shoulders , bis area of the shirts, i'm getting to where size L is fitting oddly now.

im in mediums about to bump up to large. yeah buddy, ive been waiting years to get there... sorta. But dont get me wrong i can fit into mediums when i first by them but after the first wash something goes horribly wrong and thats the end of that shirt.

Yeah, I gave up on my gym membership last year, used some spare $ to buy a set of powerblocks and that whole leverage gym. was under $1000 together (used) and nice since i can bust out a workout whenever :D
 
I would love the idea of working out at home, but I feel like id get bored.. even tho i hate half the people at my gym, i feel like that hour and a half im there im away from school n work and **** haha
 
so I was 216 today, 15lbs up on day 19. my cals have gone up a bit, but even peak day is below 3800, average is maybe 3100-3200

one arm db incline press superset with one arm fly 4 sets of 10
flat db press superset with squeeze press 4 sets of 10

after the 1 arm ones I was already near totally worn out, holy crap is that rough
 
yea those 1 arm presses are nuts..grats on the weight gain, im up 15 pounds as well I really didnt believe it

Too bad no one is doing hydrostatic body fat testing to see what the actual fat loss is. I have no idea where to get it around where I live.
 
my fat loss isn't huge, and honestly it may be more a vascularity increase with some muscle gains making it look like fat loss. I mean adding 10 lean pounds with minimal fat makes you look leaner. Its hard to say, i'll do some calipering at the end, but thats never accurate anyhow :D

I feel you with that statement. You and I have the same excess around the midsection. If I gain weight it goes to my belly first and then my waiste. I am very interested in how this cycle treats you and it seems to be doing a great job so far. Keep up the hard work and great log so far!

today is day 20 of 28 i guess (as i'm doing 4 a day, my dip to 3 a day only lasted 2 days) and I think its an off day. A little extra sleepy today, yesterday was a 5 1/2 hrs of broken sleep nite, today was more like 6 but still broken between baby + then also the 4yo woke at a little after 5. considering the limited off days i've taken, i'm ok with it :D

He's starting to get some coordination, can walk a couple steps. not quite 11 months old yet. A happy baby, smiling all the time and laughing.
 
215 today, doing back. Decided to change my warmup strategy, and it worked well. normally i do a single warmup set at somewhere between 45-75% of working weight (more based around convenience of manipulating weights/plates). today I did 2 warmup sets, one around 55%, one around 75%. Got nice results, managed a higher working weight by 20lbs on pulldowns and higher on the others too. except machine row where i need to be belted in to do any more weight :D

feeling ultra pumped now, particularly forearms. they are totally cranked at the moment :D

so did you figure out the whole correlation between fats vs. carbs and the types of gians caused by consuming them?

its not as clear as it first seemed, but there seems to be more fat loss with over 150-200g carbs a day, and more mass gains with over 100-120g of healthy fats a day

:D yeah, if I was leaner it would be a lot more spectacular looking. chest is up around 1 1/2- 1 3/4 inches. Mostly width from lats but still a nice change. my shirts all fit funny, and they didn't last time I was at this weight.

Up 15lbs Eric? Impressive indeed! Way to go! Your definitely one of the guys that serves as an inspiration for sure...you've worked hard and stayed dedicated...and its really paying off for you. :thumbsup:
