Bcaa ratio

Im confused, can someone tell me what is the best ratio, what it means, and why. I wanna buy some powder and am looking into usp's modern bcaa. Your thoughts?

honestly, i dont see any difference in any ratio. im currently using 2:1:1 iBCAA by Primordial Performance. I have used Body Mortar which is 4:1:1. thats as high as i will go.

I've seen all the way up to 12:1:1, which ends up being practically straight leucine. Last I saw, 2:1:1 is high enough to spike mTOR levels, so I stick with either that 4:1:1, which is the highest I will go personally, if I incorporate any at all.

If you get adequate protein intake, I reckon BCAAs are needed, but I still have some once in a while and they do taste nice

I bought bulk BCAA and Leucine so now I can use the ratio I decide... 5:1:1 just to be different :P

They should most certainly still enhance protein synthesis

Just above adequate protein intake will retain calcium in the body too for bones. Strong bones, strong training, strong apatite = lots of good things

I prefer EAAs:

Leucine:
- Primary anabolic trigger
- Enhance recovery
- Optimize hormone levels

Valine:
- Energy
- Recovery
- Glucose production
- Nitrogen balance
- Anti-inflammatory
- Analgesic

Isoleucine:
- Energy
- Recovery
- Glucose production
- Hormones

Lysine:
- Beta-oxidation
- Nitrogen balance
- Calcium absorption
- Energy

Arginine:
- Vasodilator
- Nutrient delivery
- Anti-Catabolic

Histidine:
- Vasodilator
- Sexual function

Threonine:
- Nutrient uptake
- Immune system

Methionine:
- Enhance metabolism
- Energy
- Mood
- Antioxidant

Phenylalanine:
- Energy
- Hormones
- Mood
