Baby Wifey's Bucket of Happiness

EEL?! UNAGI!!! THE POWER!

I laugh at all the female personal trainers at our gym. The twenty year olds don't look like they lift weights at all. They look like the type of girls who do cardio 5 days a week and eat whatever they want in small portions. So they are very small and flabby. And the older trainers look like they starve themselves- completely emaciated. And these people train others on a daily basis. The routines they teach are pretty ridiculous as well. It would be awesome to have a trainer like either of you around!
Haha sounds like some winners :P
I am feeling very tired, and happy right now. :) Workout was intense and exhausting, but Resolve took me to all you can eat Sushi post workout. It was delicious.:chinese:

Workout:

8x3
Deadlifts: 155, 175, 185, 195, 200, 205 lb

4x10 Circuit:

NG supinated Pull Downs: 120 lb
Split Squats: 20 lb DBs
DB Shoulder Press: 30 lb DBs

3x20

Cable Tricep Extensions: 40 lb
Cable Bicep Curls: 40 lb, 30 lb

I got a great workout after all was said and done. I felt a little sick to my stomach in the middle of my circuit, but it went away by the time I finished. I'm noticing an increase in arm definition nearly every week that I hit the gym. It is very encouraging to see even this little bit of progress.

I took 2 caps of X-Force before lifting for an energy boost. I was feeling very hot and sweaty the whole time- much more than usual. I think the gym's air conditioner wasn't working very well, so that probably contributed.

GG once again gave me a huge arm pump after working out my tris and bis. I'm just glad that I work them out at the end of everything, otherwise it would be really annoying to have my range of motion impeded by the pump.

I've been using Purple Wraath for months now and I haven't gotten sick of the grape flavor. It is really yummy, and hides the taste of the extra BCAAs I put in.

Resolve and I placed an order from Nutra Planet and are expecting some Forskolin and Eviscerate this week. I'm very much looking forward to adding those into my daily routine.
Wow impressive DL's! You'll be repping 225 in no time! How are you DLing? Like grip/straps or not? I just go crazy during DL, its like im on drugs.

I wasnt a fan of PW, I got sick off of the flavoring. Have you tried any other BCAA drinks? I know I asked Resolve about intra aid on anothe forum.

I've only tried our Blue Raspberry BC+EAA, and it was delicious, but I know that we're going to be having some new flavors available soon. Resolve used it too, and I think he liked it.

I use a safety grip- one hand pronated the other supinated. No straps, only workout gloves.

I have tried watermelon flavored Extend before and I thought that stuff tasted awesome. It reminded me of jello.

I tasted that stuff too! Most of the time the flavor was good, but on occasion the texture and flavor reminded me of play dough. I don't know why. :surprised:

Haha! So I guess you weren't one of those kids who ate playdough! What about paste?...Mmmmm :p

Xtend is good too. I really like lemonade and green apple; however, there are so many excellent BCAA/EAA drinks out there, I think Xtend is a little old-school, now. It just doesn't have the ingredient profile that a lot of them have.

I ate Play dough when I was real young. It only took one time, then I figured out it wasn't yummy.

I've never had the lemonade or green apple. Oooh, now I want to try 'em! I love Green Magnitude- primarily for its apple taste. :)

I figured you'd get enough fruit being around Resolve. ;)

Ah cool, I know a lot of people who prefer to DL w/ that grip. I usually go hook style (palms facing me) Idk why I do it, just a preferance.

Xtend is awesome, if you think watermelon is good try green apple!!

It is much easier for me to hold on to the bar with a safety grip. I've tried keeping both hands in the same position and they seem to slip more.

BW just told me that "If you were fat, you'd be really funny looking."

...that is all.

You would be funny looking as a big fat guy. :p As a chubby kid you were adorable, but putting that in man size, man face would be very amusing.

I'm looking forward to working out tomorrow. I am so sore from yesterday's deads and split squats I think lifting will help losen me up.

I have been watching Arrested Developement this week. I've seen it 3 times all the way through and enjoy it even more each time. Back to the show! :D

I'm patiently waiting for the movie...

Seriously! I have heard a little bit about the movie but have no idea when it comes out! using the search engine now!

I don't think anyone knows if or when. I'm so upset that show was canceled. Most people are just way too stupid to pick up on the humor, and I don't think it caught on with the other crowd (people that enjoy it like us) quick enough to show support for it.

I think you are right. The first time I saw it Resolve started me on the second season and I was a bit confused. Once I saw it from the first episode it just started growing on me. I'm not always the first to catch subtle humor or jokes, but it makes watching Arrested Developement fun every time because I catch something new! :) it is our favorite show to watch together.

It seems like the movie is coming out sometime in 2010.

I basically love any show that a moron would call "not funny." Morons don't understand humor like Arrested Development because you have to actually be somewhat intelligent to pick up on it; the irony being the morons think it's humor for idiots...Same with shows like South Park, Family Guy, and The Office.

Have you tried watching The Office at all? Definitely another classic show, and it's still running.

I've seen clips of The Office, but I don't think I have ever watched an entire episode.

I can only stand so much of South Park and Family Guy. One episode every 3 or 4 months is more than enough for me. Resolve would watch them all the time if I enjoyed them with him.

I have a very close friend who can do the voice of Butters perfectly. Her teenage boys get a kick out of it. I just can't help but laugh at her!

"Oh, gee-wizz...Alright, then."

There you go! you've got it down! :)

So, Nutra Planet order arrived. I will probably be starting up forskolin this week. Glycobol is another product Resolve ordered and I'll probably be giving that a go. I'm gonna wait on Eviscerate for a little while. Probably be starting that up in a couple of weeks.

:type: baby wifeys bucket of happieness.... LOL that is the cutest thread name i have ever heard ever.:jester: :You_Rock_Emoticon: I dunno if i have subbed yet, if not, SUBED!!!!!!!!!!!

:head:

:beerchug:

I am going to be stackig glycobol with assault, SUBBED.

Ooohhh, that sounds yummy...

Assault is the best caffeinated pre-workout supp, IMO. Pretty much the only one that I can handle without negative sides anymore. Should make for happy gym time!

Glycobol I've only had one dose so far, so I'm still sorta figuring that one out, but I have more respect for AI than for just about any other supp company, so I'm very confident in its performance.

You callin' me a fruit? Be careful, I will fling poo at you!

You be nice! no fruit and poop in my log! :p

Today's Workout:

4x10 Circuit:

BB Squats: 115, 125, 130, 135 lb (10 lb increase since last week!)
DB Rows: 25 lb
Step Ups: 25 lb for first set, BW for last three
Push Ups: BW

6x15
Overhead Tricep Extension: 20,15 lb
Hammer Curls: 20, 25 lb

4x20
Leg Extensions: 75 lb

I love this circuit. It is such a hard workout, but in the end I always feel so good. I was very happy to add weight to my squats this week. Last week the most I used was 125 lb for 3 sets. I have gotten stronger! :D

I had a huge arm and leg pump after I completely finished my workout. It lasted for about a half hour.

I stacked 2 X-Force with Ephedrine 1 hour pre-workout at 12pm. I was energized until about 4:30. My intense workout caught up with me and I took a nap. I am feeling very good right now!

...I'm not much into warming up, I just hit the weights heavy as soon as I can. :)

Same. I don't warm-up at all (then again, usually I've only finished cardio 60 minutes before I lift, and are 'warmed up' some from that).

Depending on the individual a warm-up is not necessary. It can be beneficial sometimes to do a couple of lighter sets before working sets, to get the muscles warmed up, especially of one plans on a heavy session And if one is a newbie to exercise/resistance training, then yeah, a warm-up is essential.

My warmups are typically only for the big compound or Oly lifts. I'll do 1rep with 135 and keep adding 45s and doing singles until I get to my working weight. Except for DLs: I don't even bother picking up the bar until I've got at least 315 on there...

Man, you guys are crazy. I'd be out of commission if I didn't do at least a couple warm-up sets. I usually pick a weight where I'll be screaming at the 20 rep-range, and do that a few times.

Mmmmmm, I love it! Those first couple of sets get me amped up for more pain.

First couple sets ensure that I can properly inflict that additional pain on myself :)

While I was lifting today I noticed even more definition in my shoulders since last week. It seems like every week I see some more progress. It is very subtle, but there nevertheless. :D The gym is the best place for me to evaluate my arm/shoulder definition because the lighting is good and always the same.

Just a note I had wanted to make...

sounds like good progress! keep at it, lets see a pic of those defined shoulders sometime soon!

I was actually just telling my husband that I need to put up some shoulder/arm pics as well as some back pictures. My back has gained a lot of muscle too. :)
