A Legal Gear Christmas: T-911, BC+EAA, Lipotropic Protein (Sponsored)

Day 32 - the end of an era

Today marks the last lifting day of this log. It's been great - I've gained some new friends, become better acquainted other friends, gained a lot of strength and even a couple of pounds. I've had more fun and seen better progress running this log than with any of my previous ventures, due partly to my growing experience with reporting in a log, and greatly to the superiority of the products I was using. You can expect a final review of T-911, BC+EAA, Lipotropic Protein, and a mini-review of I-GH-1 tomorrow or Sunday, which I will post both in this log and in it's own thread in the LG subforum. It will include my follow-up pics - just a forewarning; I'm bigger, but not leaner by any means. At least not that I can tell.

T-911: Only one little, lonely, broken tab sits in the bottle now. I almost don't want to take it tomorrow, just because it means that I'm actually out. I haven't been so sad over finishing a supp since using Intra-Aid (which I actually base my homebrew intra-workout concoctions off of now, cuz it was so good), but T-911 will be missed more greatly, simply because of it's astounding efficacy.

BC+EAA: I used the last two servings this morning, intra-workout. My big gorilla hands don't fit inside the small tubs, so I actually had to have BW reach in and scoop them out for me.
I had Purple Wraath with the evening workout, and the boldness of PW's Grape Flavor took me aback greatly - I've grown quite accustomed to BC+EAAs mildness, and actually now prefer it to PW's grape, provided I have added the VitC and Carbs that I always throw in.

I-GH-1: This is a sleep aid that definitely holds it's own amongst it's peers. Simple, effective - not a sedative, so it doesn't really help you get to sleep, but once you are, it's a deep, restorative slumber.

AM Workout: Supersets

Front Squats: 275 - 5x5
Rear Delt Raises: 50lb DBs - 5x7

Cleans: 205 - 5x5
Flat Bench: 305 - 5x5

DB Lunges: 45lb DBs - 4x7 with 4sec ecc
Cable Gironda Curls: 140, 150, 160, 160 - 4x7 with 3sec ecc

I was quite pleased with my front squats - I find them easier to take ATG, presumably due to the lighter weight than back squats, but still my quads, upper arms, anterior delts, and calves burned like fire. I also really noticed how much they work the abs today too. Rear delts paired nicely with them - a non-taxing movement that got me well loosened up and ready for cleans in the second superset.
205 for 5reps is by far the most I've ever done for cleans and this volume. They were tough, but not my max honestly - I look forward to some improvement in these. They did, however, leave me somewhat drained for bench press, I did not move the 315 that I was hoping for.
By the time lunges rolled around, my legs were pretty done too from the cleans and front squats, so I opted to go a bit ligheter and accentuate the negative like crazy. It worked well.

PM Workout: Supersets

All Supersets 4x12
2/1 Leg Press: 330 w/4sec ecc
Cable Press: 90lb per arm

DB Row: 85 (every bigger DB taken! :aargh: ) w/3sec ecc
Preacher Hammer Curl: 50lb DB

NG Decline Bench: 205
Rotary Calf Raises: 330 w/5sec ecc

A 2/1 leg press is where you press the weight up with both feet, remove one from the platform and lower the weight using only one leg. It is a movement from the bowels of Mordor. My legs are jelly and I only used 330!
It was quite frustrating that the DBs above 85 were being used - I was hoping for the 95s, but someone was doing incline "presses" where the DBs never even cam close to his chest. So, I used a lighter weight with a longer negative instead - it works. And supersetted with DB Preacher Hammer Curls, it was good stuff.
Between that superset and the Dec Bench, my arms felt blown up by the night's end. On a different note I'm stoked as heck because I actually have calves now! They're not huge, but they are actually visually discernable - something my freakishly long legs were not very willing to develop!

Maaaaaan I wish NP had T-911. I would have ordered at least two bottles during the sale. I love that stuff. I've never been so shocked by how amazing a supplement is before.

Anabolic Edge was dang good, too, but that's in a different category.

Yeah, sort it out NP :P

Final Review

T-911: I cannot say enough good things about T-911. From the first dose, it's effects are blatant and unmistakable. In fact, the enormous, and immediate, increase in strength was so surprising to me that I refused to believe it could be due to the T-911. However, as the weeks progressed and I continued to see unprecedented strength gain, I had to give credit where it was due. My squat jumped 20lbs in the first week, my deadlift 35lb and my bench 25lb, and I continued to progress over the rest of my cycle.
Also, libido is incomparable. For the first 2-1/2 weeks, I was "hot under the collar" as it were, pretty much incessantly. While this was not my primary reason for taking T-911, it was definitely a great bonus.
Appetite also was insatiable over the course of my use. Now, I was performing 2 workouts per day, so I'm sure my high activity levels contributed to this, but I'm sure T-911 helped as well.
Overall, T-911 made a greater impact and larger changes in my performance in the gym than any other supplement I have taken to date. In fact, it is currently holding a higher rank of esteem than my long-time staple and favorite, Bulk BCAAs and EAAs.
If you are over 21 and looking for that one thing to give the extra edge in the weight room, go T-911 all the way.

BC+EAA: This is a decent product. Not mind-blowing, but effective for what it is intended. As a blend of BCAAs, EAAs, and Glutamine, it does provide for good peri-workout nutrition, affording endurance, promoting protein synthesis and helping to prevent catabolism.
However, the flavor does need a little work - this is a noticeable "Play-Doh" aftertaste that is something of a drawback while in the gym. I found this could be countered with the addition of Vitamin C powder and some Dextrose, but it would be better if the taste came in an already enjoyable state. Additionally, the small serving size of the tubs makes it somewhat impractical for the more serious trainer; consuming approximately 60g combined of BCAAs and EAAs per day, a 36 serving tub of BC+EAA doesn't last long.
On the other hand, this is the only product that recognizes the importance of both BCAAs and EAAs and combines them into one formula. With every other product on the market, I am always adding more aminos to it to counter it deficiencies. If you consume enough of BC+EAA, this is not an issue.
So, my recommendation? Sweeten and acidify the flavor, drop the glutamine and make a 90 serving tub somewhere near the $40 range and this would be an outstanding addition to anyone's supplement regimen.

Lipotropic Protein: While I did not find it's claims of aiding in fat-loss to be true, I was also eating ~5000cals a day, which I sure negated this aspect of the powder. So, this was due to my diet and not any short-coming of the protein.
This is made from Gemma Protein and has a much thicker, shake-like consistency than whey or even casein powders, meaning that more liquid always had to be added when using it.
Its solubility was better than whey, in my opinion, and didn't leave the little chunks of undissolved powder here and there that whey will sometimes.
I also found this powder to be more versatile than whey for such things as cooking and adding to other foods, such as oatmeal. When microwaved, for instance, with a Tbsp of peanut butter and a bit of milk, it makes the best protein brownie I have ever had, with a soft, pastry-like texture, unlike the spongy, dry, chewy "brownies" that whey produces.
However, there is somewhat of a downside. While I personally thought the chocolate was one of the most enjoyable protein powders I have used, the vanilla really leaves something to be desired. Both flavors have a slightly nutty undertone, but the vanilla's is almost overbearing and detracts from it a good amount.
I believe the problem of the flavoring, though, will quickly become a moot point. This first batch of the protein has already sold out and the second is supposed to be composed of new, improved flavors, for both the chocolate and the vanilla.

I-GH-1: I received a sample bottle of I-GH-1 in my order from LGsciences.com and used it in conjunction with my nightly dose of ZMA. I found that it helped to make the most of my time asleep; providing greater rest and deeper slumber than with ZMA alone.
It is not a sedative, thought, by any means - it does not help you fall asleep, but rather increases your time spent in REM after you fall unconscious.
This is another solid product - not amazing, but readily living up to it's claimed purpose.

Alright, the moment of truth - my actual progress

Prior to beginning this stack:
Squat - 345x5
Deadlift - 435x5
Bench Press - 310x5

One week into the stack:
Squat - 365x3
Deadlift - 480x3
Bench Press - 335x3

End of the Stack:
Squat - 400x2
Deadlift - 500x3
Bench Press - 335x3

Hitting 400lb for my squat has been a goal since Feb '08, so to finally reach it after months of hard work was a true accomplishment. And the rapidity with which my numbers increased in the last few weeks to reach that goal is a testament to the quality of LG Sciences' products.

My deadlift and bench are really secondary for me - they are movements that I perform frequently, but neither had been lagging, as my squat had been. Still, bench gaine 25lbs and deadlift hit 500lb, which is more than twice my bodyweight. That's pretty cool.

And for the record, all those numbers are raw - no belt, no wrist straps, not even any gloves. Just me and a freaking lot of iron.

Beginning Weight: 240lb
Weight as of this morning: 243lb

I didn't lose any fat, that's for sure, but I did gain a ton of strength, more than enough to justify holding onto a little flab.
And now I'm beginning a recomp, so what fat I do have will be taken care of.

I surely second the vote for T-911....noticeable effects from first dose!! Nice job R!

Simply awesome review man! Really appreciate you taking the time to write such thorough reviews everyday for us!

The suggestions you have made will no doubt influence the LG products, including a bigger Bc+Eaa tub which I agree with.

Thanks again, and look forward to you logging with us again! What you planning for your next log?

It was truly an honor to run such a comprehensive and impressive stack, Craig! I am extremely grateful to LG Sciences on the whole for this opportunity!

Also, AZMIDLYF, MrChristian, Irish Cannon, Thundergod, Dreamweaver and everybody else that followed along, you guys made this log by far the most enjoyable that I've done thus far!

A HUGE THANKS TO YOU ALL!

And, Craig, my next log will start either next Monday or the following Monday and will be for my two-month recomp. Sponsored products will be Avant Research's Napalm and Lipoderm Ultra.
Other products I'll be using in conjunction with that will be: DCP, Forskolin, Assault, Bullet Proof, EgCg, bulk leucine, bulk bcaas, bulk eaas for the first month

DCP will be replaced with ECA, Anadraulic State replaces Assault, and T-911 for the second month.

I'd like to to stack another thermogen with the ECA, but it took me long enough to save up for all I've got as it is. Still should make for a rocking stack though hopefully.

Sweet stuff resolve! Hit me up on your next run, ill be lookin for it also! Your great to have on AM!

You're lookin' great Resolve! That back looks excellent! Your arms have definitely thickened up as well. You've gained some definite size, with little to no fat gain...Maybe even some fat LOSS! Awesome job!

PS - I purchased a bottle of T-911 this morning...Woot!

Good for you man and thanks for the encouragement - I don't know about the fat-loss, but thanks.

I'm looking forward to getting back on T-911 soon myself! Did you decide to run it with your MMV2 or are you just grabbing a bottle for your stash?

Well, tell me what you think...

MMV2 - 6caps ED weeks 1-6
T-911 - 1/2/2/2/2/1
(ATD in PCT)

or

MMV2 - 6caps ED weeks 1-6
ATD - 25mg EOD
(T-911 in PCT)

?????

I'm having a hard time deciding. I'm leaning towards using T-911 in PCT with OVERDrive (I've got a free bottle coming to me). I'll also probably pick up two bottles of BlueUP.

Good for you man and thanks for the encouragement - I don't know about the fat-loss, but thanks.

I honestly do notice some difference, especially in the lower-back area. I guess it could be loss of water from the AI, but regardless, you're looking good. I'm sure BW is very pleased! :D

Well, PHs are hardly my strongpoint, but I'd do T-911 in PCT. The ATD ought to work fine for on-cycle support as an AI, but that's all it's gonna do - inhibit aromatases. The T-911, on the other hand is gonna help with other aspects of recovery due to Resveratrol, Luteolin, etc. T-911 plus Overdrive should make it even better.

I've never used Drive, just bulk forskolin (I love the stuff), but I've been meaning to give it a go - Neovar is, IMO, the best creatine on the market, so I've got big respect for AN.

Irish, why the ATD? You already have the AI from T-911 going on. Would you be open to throwing in some DS Activate Xtreme(6 caps e/d) to free up some more test. It is also on sale right now at Nutra. I ran that with another form of an AI and saw some great results. Just my 2 cents... All the best Irish

I missed a great deal of the log, but your arms look much bigger imo. Your strength gains are immense! Good job man. Holler at me with the new log.

The ATD is during cycle, T-911 during PCT.

My routines are tiring, and fortunately my work schedule is very flexible, so my recovery time can be maximized. Recovery is much like any other variable in weightlifting - it can be improved by training. I worked up to the frequency that I perform over time - starting with 3 total body workouts a week and increasing gradually, with periodic "unloading" weeks to rest a bit. I just don't like pounding any single body-part into oblivion during a workout - so I've pursued other methods of training.
That is not to say that my training lacks in volume or intensity though - my current routine has approximately 12 sets per major muscle group each lifting day - comparable to what many lifters do once a week.

I don't think anyone here would dare say that your workouts lack intensity Resolve,
these numbers don't come just out of Invalid Link Removed

Although, a good stack of supps does help !

I'm definitely coming to the US to try some T-911 :D
