Notes; This work out was Friday AM before all heck broke loose. I did find out that the bloating I had was both my Liver and my Spleen are inflamed and about four times the size that should be, so no room in there for my Heart of Lungs. My White Blood Cell count was 343,000 according to three different doctors the highest they had every seen. My Potassium was 6.1 causing a heart arrhythmia. They were able to get the potassium and my kidney and liver number down to an acceptable level, but they still don't have any idea what to do about the WBC ?? They started me on steroids' this afternoon which should shrink my liver and spleen. No Creatine or TRT for me in the near future and I can resume light training when I feel like it. Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers! I'm glad to be home and Life Is Good !!

Happy to hear you got some improvements, hate to hear that you are going through this. Hopefully there is a full recovery on the way.

I'm glad that they were able to get the Potassium, Kidney, and Liver numbers down to an acceptable level.

The WBC count is one of those things that is probably going to be a process and I'm glad that it seems like you have some good doctors that are working with you on the things going on with you.

I respect your positive attitude towards things so much. You're an inspiration and an encouragement.

Feels good to be back to work this morning !!

Yes, after about 5 days in the hospital eating and doing very little I am up 11lbs ????????????? On 01/20/2023 I was 177lbs, it is a little depressing ! My goal was on my 65th Birthday (03/06) to be in the best shape of my life, I don't think that is going to happen, but I am not going to stop chasing that goal, I may just get there a little latter! Life is Good, I got a great family, and some great friends here. Thank you all for the kind works, thoughts and encouragement !

Try not to let the weight discourage you because a lot of that could be excess fluid from things administered in the hospital stay &/or from them starting you on the steroids.

I have faith and believe that you will hit your goal; and I think its incredible that at almost 65 you're in better shape than 99.9% of the general population.

You have such a wonderful and encouraging outlook on your situation and life in general. Very commendable.

I'm sure it's fluid, they had me on an IV wide open for almost 24 hours.

Keep your head up @Rocket3015 we are all pulling for you. Glad you are able to get back to work and get a little bit of normalcy back in your life.

I did get a short workout in at 3am, it felt really good !

Stay strong brother, you’re in our prayers 🙏🙏
Sounds like you have a good team of doctors.
Thank you, I do feel very comfortable with the care I am receiving !!

Slow and steady is the name of the game

I woke up this morning up another 2lbs, I could barely get my shoes on, forearms, ankles and calves really holding water, I'm having a hard time breathing, time to call the Dr.

Damn, I hate to hear that. Hopefully the docs can figure something out to help.

Oh man, I hope they can figure it out. They may give you Lasix to help get the water off quickly.🙏
That is what I was thinking.

I’m in the ER right now, I ask them for some Lasix but because I was admitted with kidney failure last week they are looking to try something else?

That makes sense because Lasix can be very hard on the kidneys.

I didn't realize that kidney failure was part of the diagnosis last week. That in itself can lead to some fluid retention when they're not working properly.

Will keep you in our prayers and hopefully they can figure out a way to help you feel better and get some of the fluid retention off.

I didn’t know till today that I had been in kidney failure. Now they just found something else and are transferring me to Hershey Medical Center. I’m am feeling very bad about causing my wife all this pain.

Oh man, I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I understand how you feel for your wife, that’s what true love does, but she is your greatest support and I’m sure she doesn’t want to be anywhere but by your side. Stay strong my friend.💪🙏🙏🙏

I'm so sorry to hear that - that's a heck of a thing to find out and not have known about.

That's very commendable and respectable of you to be going through all of this and to be worried about her more than yourself.

We will keep you and your family in our prayers. I feel so bad for you that you're having to go through all of this.

You stay focused on recovery, we're all keeping you in our thoughts brother!

Your wife loves you as much as you love her - she knows you don’t want that! She will stand by you same as you would her, no question. That’s what love is.

At least they are feeding me well coffee, omelette, pancakes and OJ for breakfast
