It's simple really. If anyone would take Manning over Brady with the game on the line, they dont understand football beyond the fantasy stat sheets.
Manning is great and always will be, but to belittle Brady and say Manning is better makes no sense
I would 100% take Manning over Brady. Manning's success came on a team that could not do better than a 2-14 record without him. Brady's came on a roster than went 11-5 without him. When Manning played with a legitimately talented team (Broncos) they had one of the greatest offenses of all time.
name a a better receiver trio that play together the length of time that wayne, harrison, and clark played together?
your stats don't tell the picture you think they do. I can easily say that peyton stats are because he had better receivers in his career through his career, brady had so many different receivers its not even funny. 7 sbs, ya total luck
manning comp is 1.5% better than brady's that's 5 more pass completions a season manning had than brady, woooooooooooooooo ya much better that's like 90 extra pass completions over the course of a career
td:int ratio manning is barely 2:1 in regular season football . Brady's td:ints ratio is 3:1 during the regular season. mmmmmmmmmmmm guess that doesn't help, tds don't count though.
I don't even want to start on playoffs, well because you know, 7 sb appearances and all, with 10+ afc championships appearances just don't count.
guess you think favre was a better qb to., theres a reason when you start talking about3,4 sb +appearance for a qb the name are HOF names.
Brady has 7, were not talking about 1 off sb appearances, were talking about 7 sb appearances over the course of a 17 year career.
By the way, just so were clear I'm a steelers fan and I'm making this argument.
please stop.
Randy Moss, Aaron Hernandez, Rob Gronkowski, Wes Welker, and Julian Edelman were all on the same roster. That's a pretty solid group of receivers/TEs. Especially because Moss was the best receiver since Rice and Gronkowski may be the greatest tight end to ever play.
You're right though, Brady definitely does it all himself.
I'm going to try to understand: Manning has better numbers because of his team being better, but Brady has more wins because he does it all himself? Right?
When it comes to playoff QB numbers, they are nearly equal in all categories. Manning slightly edges Brady out in QBR, YPA, and completion %. (Maybe more, but I can't recall off the top of my head)
What do you mean TDs don't count? I mentioned TDs. Manning has thrown far more TDs than Brady.
Who said Brady was a 1-off SB contender? Are you inferring that Manning was? He went to 4 himself if I'm not mistaken.
Want to know another HOF name? Peyton Manning. A guaranteed first ballot hall of famer. Why do you keep bringing up the HOF as if Manning isn't going to be in it and Brady is?
By the way, just so we're clear, I'm an Eagles fan and I'm making this argument (significantly better than you are, btw).
Please stop.
