1 hour 15 min running session Invalid Link Removed Last time I "ran" for more then an hour straight, I weighed 175lbs (that was many moons ago). Good job DF, I used to love those long sessions with me and my mp3 player. Keep up the hard work!

8 hour mountain bike race..... that's got to produce an insane amount of a sense of accomplishment once you're done. Me personally, I would get an endorphins rush just by counting the kcals I would have burned in 8hrs of high level activity (I'm kind of weird like that).

I used to do lots of trail riding when I lived in Chicago. I'd take trips to Michigan and ride out there at some national parks. That was fun. I'm sure it's nothing like Australia, though.
I went running in the mountains once and got lost after I was done and exhausted. We have a lot of mountain lions and mountain lion attacks in So Cal, so I walked around lost and dehydrated with a rock in my hand, ready to get David and Goliath on a mountain lion. Clearly I found my way out of there, but it did suck. I sort of lost the moral of my story.
The story of Sam(son) and the Lion would suit you better. Dude straight up ripped the lions jaw open and killed it.

It is a rare site indeed seeing a woman doing ATG barbell squats. I remember I had the same confused look on my face the first time I saw a girl wrapping her straps around a bar and cranking out deads. It's more confusement mixed with joy..
Those are some great pictures, btw! I definitely wouldn't mind spending some time there.
