Sinner steps in to say a few words
Just thought I'd say some things, with regards to the agruments going down on here.
1) From the pics he's posted, Reaper seems to be in fairly decent shape. Athletic-looking, but not necessarily a brawny,BBer kinda deal (but I don't think that's the physique he's after anyways).
2) MT products are (1) expensive (2) have very little corraborive data behind them (3) have a lot of hype behind them. Regardless of how well you are convinced they work, comparable results have been scientifically proven using much more economical means.
3) Through my experiences, the concept of "Lift More" could not be further from truth. You'd be surprised how easily the body can be overtrained. Over the years I've been lifting less and less, and the results seem to operate conversely (coming more and more).
4) Last Spring, I encapsulated some flour and gave it to a buddy of mine as 'anabolic steroids' (Havoc by RPN). His lifts skyrocketed (went up AT LEAST 10lbs per exercise he did), bodweight increased, and he was more attentive during our workouts. I'm not saying that MT products don't work, and I could really care less if they do, but you simply can't sign off your results as the work of Muscletech products.
5) You made the point that Muscletech products will only give you results if you eat right and train properly. Well, if you're doing everything right, wouldn't you expect to see results anyhow?
6) 60lbs in 9 weeks says something to me like "I just did my first bulking phase", "I've been lifting weights for less than 3 years", "I have freaking awesome genetics", or "I just came off a really strict diet". I think my record 23lbs in 3 days after a competition.
7) Most Wendy's Drive Thru's are open until midnight or later. This doesn't really have to do with anything kprimm was saying, just thought you all shoudl know this.
Rebuttlements are welcomed and encouraged. Let's please keep them in a somewhat mature and sophisticated tone though (I know, that's tough for me to do as well). If anything, I'll either be educated or entertained.
Have a nice day.
