Building Back Up

Another thing I was thinking aside from the potassium is honestly the water. Now you may be drinking the exact same total amount of fluid either way, measuring and simply replacing with the drinks - but MANY people find when they consume flavored beverages, they consume more total fluid. So if you aren’t measuring, those 2 pints are probably extra pints mostly in your day.

Justin Harris said he is huge on his clients having some kind of flavor in their intra, because people just drink more when things taste good. Try drinking 48-64oz plain water in a session, then use some amino acids or creatine, gatorade powder etc or even Mio type flavoring next and see which one you finish faster/easier. Spoiler alert, the flavored water.

Thanks and I’m with you on everything, but can you say this line differently? Major brain fog today lol
It could have been my wording as well. Basically just saying don't marry yourself to a limitation based on the correlations, unless you really see some repeated, and convincing proof that it is likely the cause. It is one thing to avoid something as an experiment to test the correlation theory, but another to write something off completely without being sure it is actually a trigger / cause of the issue.

5.5 hours sleep last night…so, that experiment failed quickly 😂

Squat 3 x 3 x 275/285/295
GHR-Back Extensions 3/3/3
Pull-ups 4/4/3/3
Machine Shrugs 3 sets
Skullcrushers 3 sets
DB Curls 3 sets

I figured out there’s a way to set the back extension thing very low and simulate a Glute Ham Raise so I’ll keep doing that. Felt like trash but got it done.

It’s definitely a solid hit to the hammies; should help build you up to use the GHD eventually. Good work.

Weight: 205.0

New 5 year low! And slept really good. Went a little extra hard on the electrolytes. Will keep testing this hypothesis.

congratulations dude, you are clearly doing something right! especially if you are fully hydrated as you sorta imply there on the electrolytes.
Yessir! Definitely hydrated, but unsure on level of glycogen storage. Either way, the only time I hit 203 was when I was eating one meal per day for about a week.

Congrats on the new low. Based on your current physique, are you considering pushing lower than the original 200, or are you pretty happy with your composition now?

man this always seems like such a life hack to me, but I definitely do go into that brain fog. I've sorta grown to accept that for actual office/desk/computer work morning nutrition is pretty important. I can skip it for a weekend of yard / farm type work but for interacting with humans in a pleasant way, breakfast helps ha.
