Have you considered icing multiple times a day with one of the big ice packs?
I have been doing it very sporadically, not near as much as I should !! I use an Ice Bag or sometimes a frozen Rice Bag my daughter made me.
I had to do that for my leg 3 times a day for a long time - it helps with inflammation and its important to do it even if you don't feel like you need to because that helps you kind of stay ahead of the pain.
I do need to do it more !!
When you say backpain, this is lower down than kidneys? -

Are your kidney numbers okay?
- According to the Dr. I am in Kidney Failure, but not bad, If you happen to know what shows this on a blood test, I'm sure I have that number.
I know they're not great, I just mean are they okay all things considered?-

Have you had the chance to talk with your doctor and see their opinion on what they think the cause of the lower back pain could be? -
I have been making a list of thing to discuss with him at my next appointment and this is one thing for sure
