  • iv just seen the post waxy maxize starch craze and you are completely wrong. Its a natural product within the endosperm of grains (in the case of maize, its dervied from corn). Its different to normal maize starch in its composition whereby waxy maize starch is primarily composed of amylose (linear D-glucan chains) compoared with normal maize starch which is composed of both amylopectin (highly branched D-glucan chains) and amylose.
