That’s so awesome man! What was it like competing as a teen? I so wish I was lifting back then, I was so focused on swimming and golf and honeypot that I didn’t really find the gym until I was about 18.
 
Nice! I did acouple bench only meets when I was in high school because all I did was chest and biceps back then:ROFLMAO:
 
I lifted some as a teen, but had no one quidding me, I wish not I would have found a nice power lifting gym, I think I could have been pretty good.
 
When my buddy and I were in 8th grade our gym teacher was a coach at the high school we would both be going to. Our 8th grade year he would take us to the high school 3 days a week to train with the football team to get us ready as freshman. Thats were it started and then had weight training throughout high school and training for basketball, baseball, and football.

My senior year i had all my credits needed to graduate besides English. So I had weight training 1st period, English second, and 2 other bs classes then I could leave for work.

Well I would just come to school for weight training and English then I would leave skipping the last two classes. Once they caught on to me they ended up giving me weight training first period and fourth period with the same teacher to be sure I was there. So yeah, two training sessions everyday

Back then it was creatine and protein baby!!! So yeah thats how it all started. My weight training teacher would always put my buddy and I in the competitions up and down the east coast. Didn't really think much of it at the time but dam, I was 60lbs lighter than I am now and moving two-three times more weight.

One thing I do remember is all the rich kids showing up qith all the fancy gear like the lil leotard lifting suits, gloves, wraps etc etc....we showed up in shorts, wife beaters, hats on backwards, gold chains.....we might have had a bottle of Gatorade and some hand chalk.

Invalid Link RemovedHad the day off today so got to sleep in a bit this morning. Took a nice stroll on the treadmill, had 4 layers of clothes on with sauna suit. Was able to get in a good sweat even though it was only 22 degrees in the garage this morning.

Had to go to a funeral today, covid related. Pretty dam sad.
 
Dang peanut butter shake looks good. Now only if they threw in some peanut butter flavored protein powder as well then it would be complete :)

I forgot to show you these from a few weekends ago when my son was in PA.

We are almost done, still have several things to do on the outside. The inside is completely gutted for a full custom interior and stereo system.

We seem to be having issues with keeping a sealed tight bead, any recommendations?

Haven't really been able to drive it much cause of the weather

What up fellas???? Its been 8 months since I posted here. I have been active on the site just not here. Hope all is well during these crazy times.

Normal rift raft for me just between, life, job, and business but everyone is healthy.

Training and nutrition have been stag just to an overwhelming schedule. Been on my own this season due to inconsistent help. Mainly due to government money and people didn't want to work.

Hope to get back on the training and nutrition here very soon. Been focused on work, family, and the freaking stock market!!!!! Kind of my new hobbie at the moment.

Have made some serious progress on my sons truck since last being here. We now have it with street rod tags and have it basically for shows only. We have gotten a few trophies so his hard work is paying off and got a trailer for it.

Fishing season is around the corner so that's huge for me. Stock market landed me a awesome piece of waterfront property and a 33 foot 5th wheel trailer. A small piece of paradise to get away on the weekends.

Glad to be back, hope to make this a normal thing again.

Morning Fam, stuck to my word. I need this so bad right now. I've fallen into a terrible rutt with my nutrition and training along with picking up and getting used to some really bad old habits. This can all be fixed, ive done it ten fold in way worst situations. At the end of the day for me, training can be so therapeutic mentally. We will make this work, I will make this work.

Now off to shower and off to lawncare for the day.

Chest us pretty sore today, but its a good sore that I miss. Took in 3400 cals yesterday as I did track food.

Knocking down my honey do list around the house this morning.

Family is coming home today from the beach. Wife and I wedding anniversary was this past Thursday and she wants to celebrate this evening. Hopefully burn LOTS of calories
