Triple Canopy? My bro is a retired Marine sniper, his wife gave him 4 kids and he became an electrician after teaching at firearms Academy of Hawaii for 10 years after (in Bremerton Naval base) a long time contract, after getting out of the Corp.

He would sometimes over the years talk about how much he would get paid to go "behind glass" for a PMC. I told him to go for the money, but he stuck around to be a good dad instead of hanging out in a sandbox somewhere.

Can you get deployed without being tip of the spear...?

Absolutely. You would ideally take it before your largest carb meal of the day, or split into two doses before the two most carb-heavy meals, or pre-bed to get into a fasted state sooner. 300-750mg/day is the studied range. Most people tolerate 300 fine, most start to get runnier poop at 750, so 3-500 is what was found to be widely acceptable for people. It’s like a natural Berberine without the gut health issues or potential long term issues, and can be run daily year round.

Controlled Labs has Blue Sugar, which is what I use daily. There are also bulk capped Berberine products as well. Start at ~300/day and increase over time as you get comfy with it.

IMHO, no bite. Its a staph infection. Possibly staphylococcus aureus -in the worst case MRSA, Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus. Had my fair share with those in the past, also my own formula to get rid off.
If the hole has later a brownish scab (seal) , that is the best indicator for staph.
Wound cleaning with: Hibiclens
Topical: White Thyme oil, 70/30 with Tamanu oil (after removing scab).
Internally: Turmeric 2 tablespoons in milk twice a day.

Best wishes to you and your wife. You got really lean! Good work! Now its time to get some muscles ;) .

Thanks HGP. Did a cycle of antibiotics and just finished it today. Almost fully healed and the swelling is down. The ER doc even said a spider bite, but you cant always trust them. How could I even get staph. I shower everyday. Sometimes twice a day. And I would still need to be scraped by something with staph already present wouldnt I. Unless the Dog scratched me in my sleep. Either way its healed up now, and I am still working on dropping down a few more pounds. Then I will maintain till October and go on a bulk.

Weird comment this but I'm not convinced your flexing your biceps in these pics, your hand appears open. Same with other double biceps pics. Clench your fist and they will look bigger. Some people simply can't flex that well (Paul dillette anyone). I get that in the grand scheme of things who gives a f*CK but if your posting progress pics you want to make them as impressive as possible.

If it were venom from a spider bite, why prescribing antibiotics, never thought of it? Spiders can transmit staph -but in most cases its Community-acquired. Its not about hygiene, as you can even find it in acne pimples. Staph lives in your nose. Just sometimes it affects deeper layers of the dermis causing those typical holes and a big inflamed area, s.aureus also can colonize you. If the antibiotics worked, its not MRSA (resistant).
Important is that you get healed, whether I'm right -or not (but I am) ;)

Antibiotics for an insect bite? I would have thought antidote (if insect identified), antihistamine -and/or a bit of a coticosteroid cream.

Quote webmed:

MRSA can live on the skin, but it can be washed away. Staph can enter the body through hair follicles, so be particularly careful to clean your groin, underarms, arms, and legs. ... Early on, a staph infection looks like a spider bite (a red, irritated bump).

S.aureus infection are fairly common, only sometimes its MRSA and then **** can hit the fan.

Just for the record, MRSA isnt resistant to all antibiotics. Methicillin (by definition), penicillin, early gen cephalosporins (eg cephelexin) are the main ones. Doxycycline, bactrim, clindamycin are the common ones for outpatient management. Community acquired MRSA infections, when caught early, really arent all they were made up to be about a decade ago. Its also (fairly) common to get a superimposed skin infection from skin flora (strep & staph species m/c, sometimes staph is of the methicillin resistant variety) after/alongside a spider bite. Without a witnessed insect bite, it really is really weighing the positives and drawbacks of watchful waiting vs early initiation of antibiotic therapy with appropriate staph/strep coverage.

Thanks for the definition update.
What I'm opposed to is:
If the doc suspects a bite from an insect (venom/allergic reaction)-then prescribes antibiotics, without a culture to get a appropriate diagnosis of the agent causing the infection, he is a negligent asshole and one of the culprits antibiotics aren't working anymore.
We both know, there are gram positive -and negative bacteria with specially designed antibiotics for each (besides lesser effective drugs treating both) , he also wouldn't know if the bacteria is resistant -or not. He only guessed without a test.
If it was really a spider bite -and not a bacteria transmitted by an insect, the antibiotics did nothing but killing the patients gut flora (and, maybe ,a preventative measure for a secondary infection, where the doc still is guessing what that could be) , would you agree?
