Definitely came here expecting solution to have the cat out the bag and was not let down. I too suspect I'll have a new number 1 after this drop. Yum!

Not suggesting. it would be nice to know how long does it work or stay in the body doing what it’s supposed to. Anyway.. I am just thinking out loud.

So far I have tried a sample of BDay Cake Remix...

Let me start by saying I tend to use 8-10oz Fairlife for shakes. 8-10oz for most proteins, flavor comes through just fine. I saw the macros for the Cold Stone Syntha-6 and thought 10oz should be no issue. Well I was wrong. I barely tasted anything in the Bday Cake Remix. It tasted like a weak vanilla and had colorful sprinkles in it. I have a packet of mint chocolate still, but my excitement has lessened and I'll get around to trying it sometime.

Here are my brief thoughts on the two flavors that I tried -

Mint Mint Chocolate Chocolate Chip - 8.5/10
I was actually surprised when I tasted this one after hearing the reviews on other sites saying that it’s nothing special and even subpar when compared to other mint proteins. Very creamy, and just enough mint so that it’s distinguished from chocolate but not TOO much mint where it has a strange toothpaste flavor. There were a bunch of chocolate specks, but they were very small and didn’t require “eating.”

Birthday Cake Remix - 8/10
This one smells like birthday cake but tastes like cookies & cream with extra cream/frosting. Very smooth with a milkshake texture and taste from recommended amount of liquid (4-5oz) which I agree with; I think the flavor would be lost completely if you use double that amount of liquid. This one didn’t “wow” me or really stand out as a birthday cake flavor, but was pretty dang tasty and I could probably go through one of the smaller tubs.

I’m super intrigued by this combination. Could be very useful on a cut I’m thinking. I’ve never taken HICA or HMB. Stack3d is saying this is meant to be taken pre-workout. Is that the best time to take HICA & HMB though? I was thinking this could be useful before bed...or would that be a waste of the Epi? Would it still “do its thing” and provide its benefits if taken pre-bed?

Ingredient pairing is great on Halovar. However, Purus is out of their minds with that price. I can buy those 3 ingredients separately, and enough for 60 days, for less than their price even with the 20% coupon. Again, great profile. Offensive price .

To each their own. Simple economics, and logic, dictates that if products continue to contain, and new ones are being made with, yohimbine, that enough people enjoy, or at least tolerate, it. They wouldn’t buy it, and the products wouldn’t be profitable and continue to be made, otherwise. We get it, some people don’t enjoy it. There are plenty of products with and without it to chose from.

I think your sales may be coming from the "side effects means it's working" crowd but as you said, to each their own. I just think if it was that great it would have been popular throughout the 90s and 00s like caffeine and creatine but it came out, went away and then when companies stopped being able to use DMAA, instead of innovating, they brought it back...

Some companies did innovate.. just none of them have been able to explode in the same way dmaa did.. look at some of the preworkout.. Re1gn.. or Cannibal Ferox.. or all the new Natty anabolics.. or laxo products..the epi products..

But for subjective stimulants (caffeine is one of the only stimulant in supplements that has been demonstrated to actually have ergogenic effects), if people “feel” it, and “like/enjoy” the feeling, who are you to say that they’re wrong? The point of stimulants (besides arguably the effect of caffeine on power output) is to provide energy and STUMULANT effects; if people enjoy the stimulation from yohimbine, then it’s justified to use. But some people don’t like it, so some products don’t have it. Everyone wins. There’s a product for everyone.

It's not so much the consumers I'm saying are wrong. It just feels lazy on the part of the formulation teams coming up with this stuff...

alanhouston90 Here's a Mini review I did in another thread.

I couldn't wait to try the New German Chocolate Cake flavor and I got it on sale over Memorial Day. The first time I tried it was in oats and the only flavor I picked up was a very good chocolate cake. I had my first shake today and I think they nailed the flavor, Strong Rich Chocolate Cake with a touch of Pecan and some Coconut flavor. Right on! If I had any thing I would change I would have made it a touch sweeter, but that may be just my taste. Next shake I will add a Very Small pinch of Stevia.

Well I guess I know what protein I'm getting next:) that's my favorite thing from coldstone just add a touch of peanut butter.. zomg.. and over in the cooking with whey thread there are a couple good recipes to make your own healthy ice cream..
 
I ordered a 2 pound tub of each Syntha 6 Cold Stone flavor because of hype and expecting amazing Syntha 6 explosive flavor. So far had 2 shakes with the birthday cake remix and I am disappointed. The first time I used more ice and failife milk then recommended so was very plain and not much flavor. Today made it with half the amount and still just very light in flavor. With so many better macro friendly proteins out there with much more amazing flavor I would say not to my liking. I mean 200 (well 300 with milk) calorie shakes that taste weaker than any isolate I have had? No thanks.

I totally understand why it has to be labeled in a mundane way but this is so much more than green tea extract. This is the kind of innovation I'm hoping to see more of.

It *is* green tea extract but it's extracted and standardized for different active phytochemicals than you'd find in a typical green tea extract. Said chemicals have an effect on nitric oxide pretty much on par with nitrate salts.

I'm a chemist... I get excited by these things...
