Okay, so I just have a little story to tell about my run outside yesterday and this thread seems more like the appropriate place to tell it. I won't get too crazy into details lets just say you ALL WISH YOU WERE WITH ME YESTERDAY!!!!!!!!

I walked over to where I do my hill sprints, and as I am walking up from a distance I see someone go running up the hill in tiny little red shorts. It caught my eye. About 10 seconds later 2 of them come flying around a corner sprinting up the sidewalk of the levy like bats out of hell. Still not close enough to recognize who they are or see any major details about them other than they were in really short shorts. I walk around the curve and to my surprise is the University of Houston Female Track Team!!!! They had just gotten there and were all warming up and stretching. I do my hill sprints on the grass hill that goes from the bayou bank up to the street level. They were running the sidewalk that went up and around it. Basically doing 200 and 300 meter uphill sprints. Had it all measured out and everything.

Anyway these girls were STACKED!!!! Out of the 20-ish girls there only 3 didn't have a 6 pack, and they were still nice and lean. More importantly and why it fits in your thread better is these girls asses were all phenomenal!!!!! I mean they looked like thoroughbreds! Any one of them would have been a perfect fit in here with all of the amazing back sides! The butt and legs on these girls was simply something to behold, both for my creeper and my physique aficionado side. A few of the girls had back sides equal to Miss Lomba, hell a few were built just like her!

Anyway I spent the next 30 minutes doing hill sprints as I was surrounded by sprinting perfection and in awe of the magnificent athletes! Seeing the quads and hamstrings explode and separate with every step was just so bad ass! I really wasn't sure if I was more impressed by the yum or the wow factor.

Something funny, the very first hill sprint I ran I ended up slipping halfway up the hill, tucked into a dive roll and rolled up the hill almost to my feet then ended up rolling backwards back to my feet and finishing the run. Talk about feeling like a total tool in front of a bunch of strong impressive ladies. At least the trainer told me way to dig and get back up and finish. Of course that was after he laughed at me. Had to look funny a guy rolling up a hill due to momentum.

PS... I say I won't go into detail but I don't think I know how to tell a story without doing so. LOL

Lomba butt in the flesh :)

I am on almost 0 carbs and working my ass off 24-7 on this prep. Starting to look like I might not make it. I accept that, but doesn't mean I give up, I just work harder and let the universe decide.

There you go Doug, no give up in you. You will be a winner regardless just from the process and getting leaner.

Oh for sure, I'll be pretty ripped one way or the other. The thing is I have to be phenomenal for this show to have a chance and if I am not there then I am not going to waste my time and money. I can accept that.

Ok some big improvements, it's been hell but at least I am getting decent results. I would say I increased my changes by about 3% in the last 4 days so lets say 53 to 47 now. I am expecting the big changes to come over the weekend, my gut is that a lot of the hard work hasn't showed up on the body yet.

Thanks, I am quite focused when I get my sights on something. Stubborn too. One thing though, when I see myself through the eyes of the people here that support me it really helps fuel me cuz I see my better self. You guys help keep things in perspective cuz you go through similar experiences and understand. People are watching, I want to create a miracle for them to see.

Well I figured something out, I was making really excellent progress by Saturday morning my abs were really cleaned up and I thought I had done the impossible. When I woke up this morning I was spilled over looking and couldn't figure out what happened. I think it's the beef I have been eating on Sunday night. I will get cleaned up and take some more pics later this week to make sure.

Here is a couple I did spilled over looking, still better than last week but not indicative of what I really looked like earlier in the weekend.

Yah I did some on Monday. Turns out though, my wife layed down the law and we can't afford to send me to the concert. I was pretty upset about it at first but now I am a bit relieved. I am still going to improve my conditioning but on a more sensible timeline. This all went down on Monday night, the business is not bringing in the kind of money I need to expense this. I was going to borrow from savings but the wife put her foot down. The Monday pics are not that good anyway they are in this thread.

I had a heck of a good workout today as I got some carbs in last night. I plan on getting down to around 8% and try to stay low for the next time.

When you compete out of town you have to calculate in a fair amount of extra expense. I was not going to fight with the wife any more about it. I tried to convince her but she was pretty upset so I gave in eventually.

I think you made the right decision. You should never put yourself into financial straights over a hobby. Just get yourself down in the range where you feel great and look great and stick around there until you decide it is time to do another show.

Yah I don't want to have to lose that 20 lbs again. Man that was tough this time. I am just really glad I had a plan in place and am implementing it. I could have really spiraled downwards after this if I didn't have some direction. I am going back to lean gainz for a while. I know I can maintain on it and it's great for recomp. Plus I still have all the data and the spreadsheet I have used in the past to track it. I will know just how fast my metabolism is and exactly what I need to do. I will drop about 5 to 7 more lbs likely but over time. My skin will tighten nicely also.

Sounds like a plan!

Soon as I got some carbs in me my legs and chest just blew the fug up. I have to get lean and tight and do some good pics as I am going to be pretty impressive given enough time.
