Today was arm day! Felt great! Tried some new exercises again. It's funny how easy it is to get stuck doing the same exercises. I even had time for cardio afterwards! Since its summer, I have a little more time in the mornings!

Awesome Pic Kat! This really shows off the progress you have made in your upper body. Pecs look thick, delts are capped and separated from your tri's and bi's! Looking great!

damn, looking jacked beautiful, I always love the ink too, I get caught up on it everytime, some females with ink are just so much sexier and pretty then others and can wear it like art with their body being the most beautiful and amazing canvass of course.

Ugh. That doesn't sound fun. I'd admire men & women who work outside. Due to my body's inability to regulate it's temp properly....I could never do it. My toddler & I have been indoor hermits recently.
 
I'm jealous. I'm coming to Cal just for Sushi now. Of course I'll take you out for dinner too...lol

I'm a bit jealous....that you seem to have kept some of your boobs. Mine are fastly disappearing as I cut more body fat. :(

It's mostly muscle and the bra's illusion. Lol Fat loss takes a toll there for sure but adding muscle helps it look like they're there! Lol

Good morning! Yesterday was a rest day! I needed it as I was very sore! Although, I could've used a venting training session after a little frustrations with work. I enjoy the night at home with my lil man, while everyone else was gone elsewhere. Those moments are always special! I will miss them while they're visiting their grandparents for 2 weeks in Arkansas!

Today's workout was great! It's similar to last weeks but slightly different exercises. I actually did the pull ups today instead of Pulldowns too! I refused to move up a whole notch on the assisted machine though! Lol (I just added a 10lb weight)

Torso:

Superset 4010 tempo
60 sec rest between each set

Bench
1. 95x10-barely made this so I dropped the next set
2. 90x10

7. 85x9-failed 10 (had a spotter thankfully)

*obviously over estimated what I could do! Lol

Looking good Kat and that first exercise is how it was supposed to go. ideally you should start failing or struggling hard in the 5th or 6th set, then sometimes around set 8 you might get a tiny bit of a second wind. Ideally you will fail on more than 1-2 sets. It is the accumulation of fatigue that gives you those extremely hard pre-failure reps that are going to make you grow and cause an increase in GH production. You don't want to be able to hit all of the reps to start with. You want to work up to getting 10x10 over time, not succeed each time or only missing a rep or two per exercise.

Ahh ok thank you! So would I typically want to stay with the weight and just get as many as I can vs dropping the weight to get the prescribed # of reps?
