Kat and Puccah's Strong is the new sexy log

So I've been sick the last two weekends and I realize it's usually after my "cheat" day. I'm stuck in bed all weekend long but I'm ok by Monday. It could be a lot of things also, like running on low all week long. I want to go to the gym tonight and sweat it out, but I feel like barfing.
how bad are you on ur cheat days? If ur body is used to a good diet all week, and then you dump a load of garbage into it on the weekend, then u will definitely feel like ass

I feel like it helps my digestion, but everyone's different. Aka I just dumped a bunch of junk on my body.

Not super bad. I went out to dinner with my sister and picked at a bowl of pho and some spring rolls. The week before, I had 2 slices of pizza and hot wings.

pizza and wings kill my wife occasionally too, greasy stuff.
Although she gets mad at me since I can dominate it and be fine!!

Good morning! I hope you all had a great weekend! Back to the gym this morning! Had a great workout! Back was still really sore from deads and my deep tissue massage so squats were kept light today--although they felt like they weighed a ton! Squats seem to be one of my weakest lifts! Ugh!! Everything else felt great though! Finally remembered to put my workout in Jefit too! Maybe one day I'll do it while I'm lifting! Lol

I have some at my house. I like to use them for conditioning work. Knees can only take so much so Battle ropes and Sledge Hammer swings are some good upper body movements to get some conditioning work in.

Ive used ropes before and really liked them. They're wicked though. very humbling for someone who thought they were in good condition ha.

I hate it, too! I also hate working with tires!
 
I can flip the shît outta some tires!! Makes me feel like Rocky!
I can, too, but I can't grip them well with my small hands. :/

some places get shîtty tires too. We have a 400lb with awesome grip, but out 500lb is slick as hell.

Yep! That's why I can't grip the big tire. It's slick as fcuk.
 
I work at a tire store, I get to flip tires all day !

I almost burned my full intake today too according to my heart rate monitor that I wore while training! (I haven't updated my goal calories yet so ignore the 2250- they're not that high anymore)

I don't log any activities and disregard their weight gaining suggestions. There is no "one-size-fits-all".

Oh, I don't actually take it seriously...I just log it for record...(when I remember to that is)
 
Yeah, some of the "calories burned" are way off. The body will regulate how many calories it burns. Run everyday? You burn less calories today than you did 6 months ago if you do it regularly. Gotta keep changing up to keep the body guessing!

I agree completely! My heart rate monitor just goes by my heart rate/weight/age/height...I don't actually believe it or use that as a guide for macro/calorie calculations. I just posted that because I thought it was funny! That's all.

We started chit chatting about training and Muay Thai then he asked what I did for a living and I told him. He then asked if I wanted to be a police officer. I said, "what?!??" He said, "yes, I'm a recruiter and I think you would be good for it!"

Ommmmmmmg!!!! He gave me his card and told me to call him tomorrow! :D

haha, thank you! Yes, I've always wanted to but was never confident in myself. I think weight lifting, powerlifting, and Muay Thai has all led me to this! :D lol, you know I love a hot sweaty tattooed man! :P

Now I assume you would wear a halloween type police uniform?

Haha, actually I recognize him from our local news. When something big happens in our town, he's one of the spokespeople for the police department. :D

Thank you! I hope it works out! It's been my dream job since I was little. It's crazy because I just switched from Criminal Justice to Accounting, thinking I could never be a police officer. :D It's crazy how things happen...
