Happy Monday! Man, was it nice to have a free weekend! Slept till 10:30 on Saturday! Felt so good! Had a nice DOMS in my legs not disabled though! Lol Was awakened at 12:45 by the sound of my son getting sick. Luckily just one time and he was done. I sure hope they're both over this mess...this is the 3rd time in a month one of them has thrown up! :(

I had an old set of tube bands at home that I've been using for the over and backs. Really looking into getting a set of the flat ones.

Middle and lower back are nice and cramped up- love that feeling!!

Cardio 30 mins- will go back at lunch time for abs and maybe more cardio. Depends on our schedule at work! 2 more weeks of summer so we will be busting butt to get everyone in before school starts back.

Update on MacaPro. Really loving this stuff! Still taking 2 a day. One thing that I've noticed but didn't really want to jump the gun and say anything...is I usually get painful cysts every month. I did not get one, or at least that I can tell this month. Looked it up as well and maca root is one of the first natural remedies used because it increases the progesterone produced by the body! So far this is really looking like a staple supplement for me! Definitely will be recommending it to other women!
appreciate the recommendation for macapro!!!

did you look up the site i told you about? and remember macapro is much more potent than the stuff they were reviewing.

indeed...what is funny is maca is promoted on that site for male enhancement, but more of the reviews are by females than males, lol.

Forced rest day today. I'm fighting off the stomach virus that my son had. Started hurting yesterday at lunch. Made it through work but went straight to bed when I got home! Haven't lost anything yet, just cramping. Heading into work now! Surely I be back to training tomorrow!

Hate to hear that. It is going around though. Take a couple rest days from the weights and just do the cardio and sweat it out!

I brought my clothes just in case I feel like cardio after work. My biggest fear is not being able to eat much yesterday or today!

Fluid diet. Protein shakes with some dextrose to up the carb intake. I've had to do it a couple times with a stomach virus. Solid food just didn't set well with me. I was able to keep the shakes down though.

Ya, smoothies would be best.. Get micros and macros in there.

Blend some baby spinach (handful maybe)
Blueberries
Almond milk
Protein
100g Greek yogurt
Add some granola for carbs or cereal that'll blend easy (hell even oats- blend the oats first though, then add everything else in)

On a normal day?... Probably blackened fish tacos with cabbage or tilapia and rice.

What are your macros per meal? The tacos are pretty filling. You can also cut fresh fish into cubes, add a little ground oats, egg whites and herbs and make a "burger." Those are really good! Or have a couple of patties like that over rice!

Salmon is the way to go. Grouper, halibut, snapper. Then Whiting and talapia. That's my order of fish. Of course I pig out on shrimp but it's gotten expensive this year.

Salmon is an acquired taste though. You either like it or hate it. All the others I mentioned are pretty much white fish and you can change the taste simply by the seasonings and how you cook it.

Tilapia, cod and halibut are the only fish I eat. Cook them in sauces with greens, peppers and mushrooms or you can bread the fish in whole wheat crumbs, or blend up nuts and crust it.

Of course, it goes on a bed or rice ;)

Salmon is my favorite if I can get high quality stuff or if I'm eating sashimi! Lol That is a good idea with the nuts!! Haven't tried that yet! Thank you wasme! Decided to run to a local gas station at lunch to get some protein shakes to make it until I get home from work! Not the best stuff but better than loosing my gains! :)

Still one of my favorite quick lunches when in a hurry. 2 cans of albacore drained and 6 tablespoons of chunky salsa!

haha Ikr! I just had a patient come in telling me about his trip to Alaska with his grandfather! He came back with 50lbs of salmon!! Oh my!! I invited myself over for dinner! Lol ;)
