This kid had 255 on the bar, finish squatting, took all the weights off of one side, and the bar with all the weights flew off the rack and almost killed somebody. O.o

Interesting how someone else's standards would challenge your sanity.

I also assume she could could care less about what "someone" else would consider to be low or high standards and how that would make any difference in her day to day life.

Have you guys/gals ever bought a car from places like Carmax? I really want to get a truck but I don't want a high car payment and I'm nervous about buying a used one.

I bought an Expedition from them a few years back. Never had any issues, only had 30k on it, sold it at 75k I think. You can get better deals elsewhere though, I think there always 1-2k on the high side.

I've always just bought them at local dealerships. They should all give you a car fax to show you any damage that's ever been done too.

Yikes! We did the opposite and bought a POS ford thinking we were getting an awesome deal! Little did we know we'd be spending lots of $ to keep it running! Lol Get used with a warranty! It's the best option!

I've totaled 2 of the 3 cars I've had by age 21 (all brand new)...I've had to buy plenty of cars. Carmax is wayyyy over priced. Go look at dealers outside your city and bargain around. Make them beat each other out they will..

The first owner will take the biggest loss. I recommend being a the second owner. Payments will be closer to the car's value. If new, you will already owe more than it's worth the second you sign.

Find a model that you want then look for that model on other companies lots. Last year I got a 2012 Toyota Tundra 4X4 with 4000 miles for $25800 OTD the BMW dealership had the truck sitting there for 3 months, They took it in as a trade and still made a small profit off of it. I was looking at similar trucks with 30-40k miles for upwards of $32-$35000.

That's a great deal! I want either a Tundra or a Tacoma and I'll definitely do that! Lol, my coworker bought a brand new Tundra and had an $800 a month car payment for 7 years. O.o

Big thing I've learned if you don't like what the dealership has walk away. My brother and law just got an xterra. 10g below msrp. They weren't going to give him book for his trade. He walked out. 3 months passed by. For 3 months they called and begged. He said this is my terms and conditions. If you're not going to meet it stop calling me. They called again. Got the deal he wanted. He told them if he got put on the dealership mailing address he would pay the vehicle off outright and screw them out of the money the banks give them for using them. He owns it outright. Moral. Fuk the salesman. Fuk the dealership. You'll eventually get what you want. In all seriousness too.. I did the same with my truck. Patience is a virtue In purchasing things.

That's awesome for your brother and yes, I need to be patient. I just checked and new Tacomas are 45k. O.o ugh....

I just picked up a used Frontier in mint condition for $12,500. The deals are out there.

That's like a $65k truck. Sux that cool **** can't be paid without credit. But ya gotta do what makes you happy. You only go around once from what I've heard.
 
My coworker tried to temp me with Krispy Kreme donuts. Smh, lol, she said that if I had one, it'll make her feel better since she had 2.
