COOP-thoughts on TMG?

2 questions
- should you consume 2,500 mg all at once or spread out with different meals .
- I was also looking at the Swanson brand. It labeled as TMG from betaine. This is the correct form which his Betaine Anhydrous and not Betaine HCL. I am guessing it is because its labeled as TMG but wanted to verify

If you get GI problems, split the dose up.

Just use 1 serve of condense or max pump.

Can this be taken anally?
I don't have a mouth.

not interested in the caffeine and some other things in condense And Swanson is a whole lot cheaper then max pump

If your on a budget well then go the Swanson route, but if not, the 2 suggestions I provided are very good products

isn't all TMG betaine anhydrous ?

Reason I ask is one store has it listed as "Studies indicate that TMG (trimethylglycine) (betaine HCI) may promote healthy homocysteine levels and overall cardiovascular health"
Directions
As a dietary supplement, take one (1) or two (2) tablets daily, with a meal

How come the max pump label says use no longer than 4 weeks?
I do not know what you are reading, but that is not what it says

for best results we advise 4-8 weeks of use;
there is extreme dosing guidance (which I do not prefer to advocate, personally) of 4cap doses split 2x daily;
and lastly, we advise to not use for more than 90 days consecutively

Correct, my fault, I confused it with a different product

Sorry for the bump just trying to get a better understanding of this and make sure I get the right one I was going to get Swason TMG but that just states TMG from betaine. doesn't state anhydrous , I had thought all TMG was from anhydrous until I say the above product

Yes, TMG = betaine anhydrous, not betaine HCL.

200g powder making it to the customer for $6? mod edit: review rules.

De__eB edit: sorry, wasn't trying to point people elsewhere!

Yes, arriving to the customer for $6. Many companies are making insane margins off betaine right now because the ingredient itself is in the ballpark of other ingredients (e.g. glycine) that are so cheap that people spike products with them

If you used the cheaper grade and were happy with a $1 profit then yes you could do it for $6.

A $1 profit will not even pay for the free shipping to retailers much less any advertising

What do you mean cheaper grade? I wasn't aware there are "gradings" of betaine anhydrous. I have bought betaine anhydrous reliably at this price for quite some time, and it is indeed pure "grade"

There is indeed two different qualities. Have you bought in bulk kgs or a retailer?

mike is using only the high grade on his company also what to look for from rooting out low grade composition in companies

If cheaper grade vs higher grade is anything like Taco Bell beef vs store bought Angus, sign me up.

No, TMG is betaine anhydrous. Betaine HCL is different and it is not what you want (for this purpose, it has other purposes - most of which, I believe, are digestion-related).

And I agree, TMG - in both bulk powder and caps - can be found very, very inexpensively.
