I figured out how to see updates,for some reason it's showing them when I click settings at the top.But before today it had always showed a red number of updates under the notifications tab,and inbox was separate,now notifications takes straight to inbox!FTS!
You could always see subscribed threads like that(settings) but the damn red pop up you speak of is gone, and that is gay..lol

Seated a lot depends on how much of an incline press you make it, and also how low you take it. heh

i don't know about dan but i was assuming strict standing... 315 is a **** ton of weight. most can't even do 2 plates let alone 3...

I've seen plenty of people do 2 plates, including a couple gifted mofo's who almost never lift.

i said nothing about being "ripped" just overall size. his shoulders and chest are really not that big. anybody i've seen push the kind of weights ab says he's doing are big mofo's period. fat bastards or not they're big...

Guys you have to remember what the conversation is about...

It was stating that the egg yolks contain cholesterol. I eat whole eggs as well but that is science not "buying into anything". :-)

Actually the science is that the cholesterol you eat barely has any effect at all on your lipids only about 15% of cholesterol in your blood comes from dietary cholesterol. In reality excessive carb intake is more responsible for high cholesterol. High insulin levels tell the liver to produce cholesterol that is where most of the cholesterol in your blood comes from not what you eat but what your body produces. That is why people on low carbs and moderate carb but low glycemic index diets have a large drop in cholesterol levels when they start them.

If you search google for insulin and cholesterol synthesis you will find many studies showing the correlation. This is one specifically on insulin but if you peruse into the sections of it you will find many references to increased cholesterol production, one stating uncontrolled glucose cholesterol increase, in one of the graphs visuals you will see that insulin increases cholesterol formation and it is lessened when insulin is not present. Keeping lipids down on cycle can be more easily controlled by limiting excess carbohydrate intake or limiting it into specific times instead of of the day like before and post workout. Just something to ponder if dietary assistance in cholesterol control is actually part of the goal. Otherwise get after them egg yolks, far more benefits to them than negatives. They also make the protein in the egg white far more bio-available.

I stalled around 250 on strict standing at a body weight of 198, however I haven't done it in a bit as my training has changed. Seated though I have done 275 for a few reps, FULL rom off the upper chest. My training partner has hit 350 strict standing.

Look at Chris Hickson. Doesn't carry much size but can pull like a mother ****er. Granted I know what you are saying. Typically big pressers have a certain level of development. I mean a 500lb+ raw bench is elite status.

BOOM.. Exactly. Dude my wife had chronically elevated lipids. She finally let me put her on a diet. I put her on IF, INCREASED her saturated fats(eggs, coconut oil, avocado, BUTTER, etc) Just got her bloodwork back, this is the second consecutive panel with near ideal lipids. 110 LDL, 78hdl, 50 trigs.... BOOM. Her HDL was like 40, and LDL 160..lol She eats like 3-4eggs a day, everyday.
 
alright ab, put 3 plates on the bar. un-rack it, step back and press that **** straight over head and i'll stfu. :-) i'm sure your girlfriend has a phone she can use to video the event. ;-)

he's a strong mf'er and so are you and i'd be willing to bet you and your partner have waay more development in the chest and shoulders than what i see in ab's pics.

I was assuming seated. I figured he would have said standing mil. Press or Overhead press or something to that effect if it was standing. Either way it's alot of fuggin weight. I'm not saying he can or he can't because frankly I'm tired of arguing with people. Seems to be SO much drama and hate going on the last couple weeks and its phuckin retarded an uncalled for. (Not specifically talking about this just in general) BUT I know I did standing press at like 215 when I was on and have much less weight/mass than AB...end rant

Big doesn't have to equal strong.
Hypertrophy increases muscle size, you would want to get stronger (strength change) to be able to move more weight for hypertrophy purposes.

No many small 500lb raw competition benchers. There is a certain amount of development that comes with moving the kind of weights it takes to accomplish that.

Big difference between "gym strong" and competition strong.

(this isn't aimed at ab)

Most guys who do move massive weight gain size as well, usually a lot of those guys are genetically big not all but a lot...

Unfortunately one of the things that comes along with being strong/posting big numbers is people doubting them. It's just inevitable someone will doubt and you'll have to shut them up by posting some vids.

I'd not take offense to it. I'd look at it as a compliment that your numbers are high enough to be worth questioning. Because sure as **** the guys squatting a buck fiddy aren't being questioned. Lol

I've had to back up my numbers a few times myself. No better way to shut up the doubters than proof.
