even at a lower dose, the vision sides will still come on, just at a slightly slower rate... there is not stopping this effect, the only way to reverse it as well is to stop it completely.

its just something you gotta deal with if you wanna run the compound... basically, IMO, if your gonna run it, run it at 75mg, get the benefits you want and deal with the sides, cause theyll be there with a lower dose as well and the benefits wont be as great.


Personally , I got sick of night blindness quick, and like you mentioned, that even meant dimly lit rooms after coming in from the bright outdoors... I wont run it agian cause of these sides. I do have some Ostarine waiting to be run this summer though ;)

I am planning bloodwork, but it will be when my test levels "should" be at normal levels, which will be a good month or so after my PCT from these SARMS.
 
I am thinking 8 week bridge run.. expensive unless I run 50mg and 12.5 of osta that's only 1 bottle of each which is still kind of pricey...
 
Can anyone provide a recommendation on using Ostarine for weight loss, and increasing power for endurance sports? I am a competitive cyclist, and have gotten seriously out of shape ( gone from 190 lbs to 205 since the summer ) and my goal is to get back down to 180-185 and seriously increasing power and endurance. My fear is that I use this and bulk up...in cycling being light is KING

I think that would still work great at those dosages DW...especially considering they would be stacked. An 8 week stack at those dosages is still only a bottle of each

If you had your diet and training dialed in for fat loss and leaning, you wouldn't have to worry about bulking up. I've probably added only a lb to maybe 2 lbs of LBM Max since I'm geared more towards cutting than building right now. That focus may change starting next week since I'm cutting up a lot faster than expected

Today is a burn day/cardio day and I was looking lean as ever this morning. I can honestly say that I am now as lean or possibly even slightly leaner than at my lean est last summer (my avi pic). The changes are coming much faster than expected in terms of fat loss which is great, but on the flip side I am getting less in terms of muscle or strength gains than I expected also. I have retained all my muscle very well, but I would like to make a true recomp and add some more.

So....I have a decision to make over the next week. I am seriously leaning towards dropping one of the cardio days in favor of adding another workout day. This will put me at 4 workouts per week and 3 cardio days per week instead of the latter. That will shift my focus more towards gaining more LBM and strength, with less focus on fat loss. That is the direction I want to go as long as I'm still cutting up. I still want getting to under 7% bodyfat to be my main focus of this run, but I do still have over 5 weeks left to lose 1-2% bodyfat for the goal.

I'm going to feel it out and judge my progress over the next week and take some bodyfat measurements and make a decision by next week sometime

Today's cardio...

AM

Treadmill 40 minutes (25 minutes jogging @ 7 MPH and 15 minutes incline 3.5 MPH @ 15%) for a 475 Cal burn

Elliptical 10 minutes HIIT for a 125 Cal burn

Total burn 600 Cal's

PM

tonight will probably be 30 minutes of incline treadmill for another 300-400 Cal's burned
 
Hmm... I'd say if your injury (the shoulder one) is better and your joints feel like they can handle 4x a week then go for it man!
Just keep an eye out for overtraining. Read a very interesting interview the other day about a dude who only training 2x a week, and does 3 week rotations. Dude is freakin huge.

I was actually going to post about the injury earlier. Its nearly completely gone. I believe Ostarine has a hand in that as well. It is well known to have very good joint healing abilities and I think it has done that for me.

Definitely will watch the overtraining. I try to limit my workouts to one hour sessions to minimize the chance of it. I also don't go over 15-20 sets for large muscle groups and 6-9 sets for smaller muscle groups like arms.

hey bro... glad everything is going so well!! so here's my thoughts for you... you've got your three workouts and 4 cardio right now... so what you could do and what i think you should do, is do a 3 and 3 split and the other day incorporate both... do your cardio and workout day all in one, so your still getting your good burn, your getting your muscle build... just up your calories and protein on that particular day... i think that would be the best scenario to get what you are trying to achieve... anyway, just thought i would give you my thoughts... keep killin it bro!

Do you think 90-120 min workouts are too long? Even when you are young and aren't getting fatigued.

That's going to depend on the athlete. Genetics, diet and training philosophies are going to play a huge roll.
For me, 90-100 min is ideal 6 days a week but I also vary my workouts greatly and take an extra day off when needed. My training style took me years to get accustomed to and be comfortable with.
Steroids will also help an athlete overtrain with good results.....in the short run, but I think we can all agree that listening to your body and learning the difference between pushing yourself to the limits instead of past your limits is key to building a god like physique.

That is actually exactly what I will be doing bro. There will be 3 workout only days, 3 cardio only days and one day (Thursday) will be an AM workout with PM cardio. The only thing I've been wondering is how to structure my diet that day since I typically eat 20% over maintenance on workout days and 20% under on cardio days. I think what I will be doing will be eating at maintenance or slightly over. I'm going to aim for 2400 and see how that does since its right between the 2800/2000 I do on my other days. I can always adjust if need be...;)

So...my workout split will change a slight bit. I'm splitting my normal Friday workout up into two days and adding some arm work. This will be good as my shoulders/legs workout is a lot of volume and usually leaves my legs a little undertrained. So now Thursday will be Shoulders/calves/ABS and Friday will be legs/arms. I am stoked about having arm work separate. I can usually kill them a lot harder.

I'm not young, but regardless those workouts wouldn't work for me because I usually do higher intensity and shorter rest periods. 60-70 minutes is about as long as I like.

WOW!! I had to open with that word. That was my impression of myself this morning in the gym. I woke up to a scale weight of 167 but looking remarkably full and incredibly lean! After a good pump I was seeing veins I have never seen before. Vascularity was insane! I even have veins coming up my obliques! They are faint, but they are coming in. Quad and calf veins are becoming sick too.

I have officially crossed the boundary of the leanest I've been. Today is the best I have ever looked! I look bigger and leaner than my peak physique from summer at a weight of 5 lbs heavier! I have to be 7.5% or so right now:D

This stack is wonderful and amazes the hell out of me. This might be what I do every time I need to cut up from now on. Bulk up on cycle and cut up on these SARMS between cycles sounds like a great plan to me. I'm only 3 weeks into an 8 week run, and i honestly can't wait to see what I will look like at the end!! I may have to do pics again this weekend. Things are getting awesome guys!


Workout went great. Still not adding any weight to my lifts, but I am maintaining every rep while cutting up still. My shoulder pain is nearly completely gone also. Another benefit from Ostarine!!

Rick, looking back do you think it was worth using the 12.5 of osta during pct? Or would it be best to just save the osta for a "formal" recomp (like youre doing now)?

Absolutely!! The 12.5mg in PCT really helped hold onto muscle and strength gained on cycle. What I have done is probably what I will do every time now that I have seen what ways I can best utilize these SARMS :sgrin:

Yeah I know you aren't young, well you aren't old haha. I meant I am young and my workouts are generally 90-120 minutes with a partner, I keep rest periods between 60-90 seconds. My workouts by myself are usually 70-80 minutes. My body feels fine doing this, was just wondering what you guys thought of it. Like Morry said you just got to listen to your body, thanks. :D

Btw great results with these sarms, maybe i'll stack ostarine with some katandrol for my cut this summer. XD
 
im playing with my routine right now, obviously ive struggled in my cut cycle lol. but hey im learning the hard way like most of us do, anyway i've learned that doing cardio and eating a little more is much more benificial, rather than trying to just keep my calorie intake low. eating and cardio speed up the metobolism and low calorie intake will slow it down...of course you already know this...just had to find out for myself haha

how much cardio are you planning on doing on cardio day?

ive seen some days you have done 2adays of cardio, morning/night...do you do that often?

im planning on switching to a similar plan, 1 day HST/1 day cardio & abs... i was thinking i should still try and squeeze in 15-20min of cardio on my lift days. are you strictly doing cardio on cardio days and lifting on lift days?

Ostarine is pretty strong stuff. Even the guys at IML have a SARM product now. They say you can use it in PCT and bridges. Cant wait. ;)

Yeh for the most part cardio is done on days that I'm not lifting, with the exception of one day that I will do lifting in the AM and do cardio in the PM.

I've definitely had better luck cutting up now than I ever have, and I think the key has been added cardio AND added Cal's. I've done around 1800ish Cal's with 30 minutes cardio in the past and now I'm doing 60-70 minutes of cardio split into 2sessions with a higher Cal's intake of around 2k-2200 on cardio days with more success.

So...my training and diet plan looks like this....

Monday: Chest/Triceps (light) 2800 Cal's
Tuesday: 30 minutes AM & 30 minutes PM cardio 2K-2200 Cal's, low carb
Wednesday: Back/Biceps (light) 2800 cals
Thursday: Shoulders/Calves/ABS, 30 minutes PM cardio 2400-2500 Cal's
Friday: Legs/arms (heavy) 2800 Cal's
Saturday: 60-70 minutes cardio 2k-2200 Cal's (low Carb)
Sunday: 60-70 minutes cardio 2k-2200 Cal's (low Carb)

Neither Ostarine or S4 has had any effect on BP/HR whatsoever for me. As for the vision issues, they are pretty unavoidable but can be controlled with dosing. That is why I'm doing the 5 on, 2 off approach. The vision sides are what steer people away from S4, but the sides go away quickly when not taking S4....for example its the weekend right now which means I'm on the 2 days I don't take S4, and there are zero vision sides since I'm not taking it. S4 binds to the ocular receptor so that is where that side comes from and the reason it also goes away quickly
 
pretty solid routine, glad everything is going well for you. SARM's are so damn expensive, maybe ill be giving ironmaglabs new sarms a run in the near future ;)

I'm generally at 250-300g per day of protein and carbs will be moderate that day (between 100-150g) where cardio days are 75g or less and workout days are 150-200g. Protein is usually closer to 300g on workout days and around 250g cardio days. I never count fats.

I eat just two meals. One fast breaker and then a last meal before starting the fast again.

Well, its been a few days since I had an update. I've been pretty busy and haven't really had much time. I did a couple hours of cardio over the weekend and the Juliet stayed pretty good for the most part. Despite that, I did weigh in heavier yesterday morning at 169 and I looked to be holding some water. My ABS looked a little washed out and bloated. The only I can figure is that my carbs were a little higher because I went on a bit of a sweet potato kick over the weekend and that may have added a little water weight.

Yesterdays workout went great. My shoulder pain is barely there now and usually chest day is my hardest on it, so I was relieved that it was mostly pain free. Strength is still holding well also.

Today is a cardio day and diet will be on point. I'm taking in less than 50g total in carbs today so hopefully that will clean up my bloat and water retention from the weekend. I want to try and get some good burning today and hopefully see some changes this week.. I would really like to see 7% sometime over the next couple weeks.

Well bro, that's not really my area of knowledge. Maybe someone else could help you better with your question since I can't really give you any help. Post up a question in the old school hormone use sub forum and somebody might have the answers you are looking for ;)
