I became a Packers fan only bc of favre when I was young and I still love them but I'm a Falcons fan first since in Alabama we have no pro team, we pull for the Braves, and then Falcons. Dude you made that look simple as shyt i love it (no homo) i've never tried sumo deads how do they feel?
It was only 185lbs lol. Anyway the reason I like it is because for deads you need to "pull" them off the ground. I have long arms and legs so getting into the standard deadlift is really hard. My legs get in the way. The sumo deadlift also helps because I have a really weak core...
Hm i think i'll give those a try next workout i think my finger will be 100% by then..
Take care of that finger though man! Perhaps you can use grips to help to. I do most of my pulling raw, Or if I use grips it more as gloves to my hands don't get too beat up from gripping the bar.
Still am, i love using gloves they help with my grip and improve the quality of my hands haha. The cut is healed up but still needs another day or two for the scar tissue to form/be strong enough so when i deadlift or row that it doesn't re-open.
Yea... having that stuff re open is NOT good....
Yeah.. but i am sooo excited to blast tri's since most movements require hands. Same with bi's and deadlifts i can't wait hellll yeah

dam man if you think that's bad imagine working literally 20 feet from the gym and watching huge guys come in and out blasting out sets with heavy weights.. Talk about motivating! the last hour of work before i train seriously feels like forever

I find it hard to believe though, because with a stance that wide I lose some power. The conventional DL is done from my "Jumping" position, so it should be the lift where I can get the most power you'd think eh? Could just be a balance deal to though when you get to those HIGH number that the professional powerlifters are using though.
I agree. I think a good middle ground would be the best for most reps. But I know my Bro always did sumo to train and had good numbers. But was crap on reg dead lifts. Could be that it trains the legs differently too. Oh well I do body wright deads now hahaha
