I didn't catch that, but come to think of it, that is why we only put 500mg of DAA in our pure test because the max we could fit in each capsule is like 600-700mg/capsule, and we use all standard sized capsules!

Yah something is wrong.... they are claiming each cap has 2 grams of dandelion and 500 mg of juniper... 2.5 grams caps!! I'm going to weigh them when I get home...
 
That's 2000mg dandelion per 4 caps. Also, the total of 4 caps is 10,000mg. That seems really unlikely since most caps do not go over 1200mg. Those must be some BIG ASS caps (I don't think they even make caps that large, it'd have to be tablets). It's more likely that it's 8 caps for the 10,000mg dose... Maybe Canada has bigger caps (would've believed it if it were Texas...)?

My biggest fear so far is that when I go off EPI-V and I will not be as dry and find out my perception was skewed by my dry look, plus it's such a big psychological boost looking ripped all the time. I am hoping the difference is not that huge...

Yah but I have to get my shyte together for thiese last 8 weeks, I know things have gone well but I have a chance to become a complete freak on stage and kickin a lot of azz... I can't let that slip by. I will tighten things back up. I am going to do a very low burn day on Wednesday for starters... I will keep my friday cheat day followed by my Saturday morning cardio to make up the difference, I'm ok with that. Sunday, Monday and Wednesday I have to tighten things up. It's been too easy and I have to get my game face on, slacking off cuz things are easy is how you come in second. I have a long history of seconds....

I do believe my appetite has increased lately and probably my metabolism too. Don't know why but I am very hungry...

Well PCT starts tomorrow and I sadly say goodbye to maybe the best recomp product out there, certainly the best I have yet to try...

The highlights, were extreme dryness and muscle hardness. Man I have never looked this fuggin hard in my life. I used the original Androhard and this beats it by a fair margin.

Fat loss was very steady despite eating much higher calories than I normally would while in a prep. I know some of this must be lean gains as well...If you want to get cut though use this shyte and go on Lean Gains. I knew there was something special about this supp when I saw Al's original log...

Strength was not crazy but it was very solid considering I am am down to around 5%, and size retention was definitely there big time, I mean you guys have seen my pics... take another percentage off those and no muscle mass loss whatsoever, maybe some small gain.

The stuff mild to non-existant for sides and shutdown, the only thing is I had to take extra saw palmetto for my prostate. Once I upped the dose I was fine.

The subtle stim stuck with me all the way through, I mean if you look at the ingrediants it kind of sounds odd at first but this product is well thought out, you feel good all the time on this stuff. Quality and stamina of workouts is great. I love this supp and you will too... well if you respond like me. If you can get lean and hold your size you're ahead of the game every time.

I give Epi-V 10/10 2 thumbs up, the only thing I don't like about it is I have to stop using it now... makes me sad...

Damn Doug, now that is one hell of a thumbs up! ScottyDoc you need to put this on the Finaflex site with a ripped up picture of Old Fugger next to it! You can't get much better of a summary than this.

Oh yeah, I agree clean it up now, you are in the final stages let's see if 3.5% is in reach. I think you can get as lean as I was for my show this far out NO PROBLEM just dial it in. Watch those carbs a little more at first now that you don't have the EPI-V.

Doug man to man, and friend to friend, you need to use that ripped freak in the next week or two exactly as you plan to use it during your peak week and see how and WHEN it pulls the water off of you. No doubt I would have left my show with a pro card if I already knew what was going to happen when I used the taraxatone. Dropping 7 lbs overnight the night before the show was horrible and left me flat and dehydrated to the point I couldn't fill up, hell couldn't even get veins drinking wine, eating snickers and dry mouthing scoops of vasocharge. I was by far the leanest guy in my show and if I had the 7 lbs I lost overnight when I already dry, I would have taken a top 3 spot for sure and probably even first or second. If the conditioning is already there the diuretic should not be used IMHO, however you need to have a reference for what it is going to do now while you are lean. Everything you have put into this paying another 30-40 to get it again is definitely worth it to KNOW what it is going to do and how it will effect you. Imagine being up there leaner than everyone but looking flat, not having any vascularity at all. Not good. Do a few pre runs with it. Find the sweet spot for yourself.

I hear what you are saying Chris and I believe you, I promise, I just can't see what you are talking about from those two pictures to be honest, I would have to see two pictures with similar poses and with similar color and lighting to really make a fair and accurate comparison, but you know your body better than anyone else, so if you say it flattened you out too much then I definitely believe you!
 
Oh I was ripped to the bone in both of them no doubt, but and that second one was after about 6-7 hours of pounding down carbs trying to fill back up. However it was way too late, prejudging was first thing in the morning. I was actually filling back out a little bit I was WAY darker in the second shot which should have made me look even more ripped. Honestly as dark as i was naturally I should have just got on stage or put 1 coat of Jantana on. The spray ran off of me on stage during the prejudging too.

My wife and best friend were at the show and had seen me the night before. My best friend asked me when he saw me the next day after prejudging where the hell I went. He was like you were huge ripped and full last night WTF happened. The told me to immediately start packing in carbs to fill myself back out told me don't worry about spilling over you need your size back for the night show if you are going to place. Some of the guys I cometed against after told me when they saw me the night before they were like OH SH*T, then I came in for prejudging looking like a fitness model and they were feeling much better about things. One of them who was coaching himself and the winner told me afterwards that I should have been taking in about 4000 cals to keep up with my metabolism and the nervousness. He was like I felt like a d*ck for not telling you then when I saw you being so careful with food but I couldn't tell you how to beat me.
 
Yah guys I can see a big difference, this is another reason I prefer to do it gradually, I want the exact same effect the epi-v had over 10 days. So that's why I was thinking to half the dosage and run it over 10 days. This 3 day thing is to fast and too severe. Yah I will dry run it for sure.

Ok first last nights workout was excellent. I stayed with the 100 lb db's for incline db press but all other lifts went up for 3 sets of 5, I was surprised that I made all 3 with push press but not complaining. At 155 lbs I have to cheat my o bar curls a bit but I really work the negatives and this is really working out. Biceps are good and sore. Long story short .. much azz was kicked...

Started PCT this morning and it's a biggie stack as usual

Osta 25 mg in the morning
3 grams of DAA plus whatever is in the PCT black
PCT black up to 3 ed

That's a heck of a PCT stack. Looks nice!

Yah I like to cover all my bases and keep the rage going as long as possible...there will be some residual benefit from the Epi-V and then the PCT should be fully kicked in in a week or so...

I was tired last night but had got in a very good posing session and the best yoga session yet.

I was showing some additional signs of leaning out, and diet was on point which is an accomplishment as burn days are becoming increasingly difficult due to increase in appetite. The OEP helped in that department.
 
Doug, how often are you doing pose sessions? Also when you do a pose session, how long do you do it for, are you sort of doing it the way Arnold used to do it? To actually help his physique and shape it up, he used to claim some of his pre-contest pose sessions burned more calories and helped him tweak his physique better than cardio and actual weight lifting, at the end/final tweaks that is!

I go once through the compulsories and once through my routine once a day. I am holding my poses for 40 seconds and will work that up to a full minute. In the last week I will do this 3 times ed.
 
For sure in a 30 minute posing session you can burn a TON of calories and it really dries you out because there is a lot of sweating involved. I think any and all posing is an excellent form of anaerobic exercise. If you have never flexed every muscle in your body for 30-60 seconds at a time you will be having a hard time breathing at first after. Add to that between 5 and 7 mandatory poses doing each about 3 times and a 60-90 second posing routine and you have one hell of a workout.

I see that Doug dose once through but he starts posing a long way out too.

Here's an observation, I have been mentioning lately that my appetite seems to be increasing somewhat... it's like the leaner I get the hungrier I get. Wait this is not normal, I have done this quite a few times and when I dieted my metabolism slowed down and I wasn't extremely hungry.

So what is happening... well obviously my metabolism is very high right now, maybe I am remaining quite anabolic through this. It's well.... you know...............................Nuggin Futs!!

That's a really good sign actually as well, I always found that when i got hungrier that my muscles would grow after i ate more. After that show you do you're probably gonna explode!

Can you trick your stomach with large quantities of salad greens with minimal flaxseed or olive oil and either wine vinegar or lemon juice and some seasonings??? I still do that from time to time if I'm too close to Halloween and am right on track and don't want to hurt my progress and just starving, I'll just make myself a salad so big (HUGE) and just use lemon juice and just enough extra virgin olive oil so that the seasonings and lemon juice actually stick to the leaves and I'll use cabbage, spinach, lettuce, brocoli, onions, minced garlic (all raw of course) now you will be running for the toilet about 1-2 hrs after eating this thing, but it at least gives you that feeling of being stuffed without the digestible/absorbable calories, and a ton of good fiber! Anyway, just a thought for ya big guy!

I was multi-quoting to respond to the other responses as well however it is best to just talk directly to you since you already know about the super-compensation of glycogen which typically follows a competition and that unfortunately most of it is not maintainable.

So up until this point your body has not had any shortage of fuel to burn, either being in a fed state, or burning fat easily for fuel during the fasted state. However as your "unnecessary fat reserves" are dwindling lower and lower you are being supplied with less fat to burn as fuel. In an effort to preserve the fats your body needs your body has to burn more glycogen for fuel leaving you feeling like you have lower blood sugar which you probably do due to the muscle using more glycogen for fuel in everyday scenarios. You could A. lower cardio a bit, B. Increase your carbs and lower your fats, bad idea in my opinion, or C Increase your levels of healthy fats which are a better slow burn source of energy than the carbs. I would opt for adjusting the ratio a bit on the fats myself if I were you by lowering carbs or protein a little and see what happens. Obviously you can just tough it out as well but I think I would increase fats and lower carbs myself.

That's easily done, ... almonds should do the trick but they are so calorie dense. Maybe crush them up and add them to my salad.... say that sounds good and a little olive oil and I'd be set...
 
Well it kind of fell apart last night on a few excercises...the shoulder was a bit off.

Front squats went fine 275 for 3 sets of 5 but feeling heavy.

Db incline Press tried 105 and got 3 good reps but had to go down to the 100's and got 5 and 4...

No problems with back exercises increases made but tried to go up to 160 on push press and only got 3 reps then went down to 155 and still had some trouble only got 3 (the shoulder wasn't feeling that good) I went down to 145 and still had problems and I gave in at 2.

I could not make an increase on decline tri extensions either and when I went to do obar curls 160 for 5 I only got 4 then 3, I thought is it the bar or is it me as I was using a different bar and it felt off balance. I grabbed another bar and bingo 5 reps no problems. I took some weight off and did 5 reps on push press 145 to get some for what I missed. I think the fuggin bar was crooked or something.

I weighed in and I am under 200 .. 199, does seem like my metabolism is speeding... interesting.
